hi ladies,i just got my baby 2 weeks ago in a normal way but i got some stitches ,who knows how long it takes to heal ana the stiches to go away_?

Soon2bCrazy - 319 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had 7 stitches and was cleared at 4 weeks for the hokey pokey. It was sore the for the first little while. I would say wait 6 weeks. They will be dissolved by then.

tiffJD - 319 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With my first, I had an episiotomy and it took about 8 weeks to heal and several months to feel "normal." With my second I had a small tear and I was better by 5-6 weeks and felt pretty much normal after 6 weeks.

emmyslittlegirl - 320 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Depends on how bad your tear was and how many stitches u have. I had 3 stitches and only 2 tears. It only took 3 weeks for the stitches to fall off and the pain went after 2 weeks.

1st-time-Toya - 320 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I got stitches with my first baby and they had healed at about 5 weeks postpartum. But i didnt have any internal tearing only external.

Lovelymummy*BLUE* - 320 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi, to be honest I think it depends on how bad your tears were , how many stitches you have and where about they are, all of this can take up to a few months. I tore very bad with both of my children and had 2nd degree tears, this took a long time to heal.

Debra - 320 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had 2nd degree tearing and internal and external stitching done. It took about 4-5 weeks for the stitches to dissolve. Things were painful for about 6-8 months afterwards. I finally felt completely 'back to normal' internally 18 months post baby.

SLK - 320 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It can take up to 8 weeks according to my OB. With my last baby it took over 6 weeks and at 7 weeks post partum I still couldn't have sex.

urnchstephie - 320 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It took me the full 6 weeks to be back to normal, with still a slight soreness.

mommyharts - 320 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm 4 weeks & 1 day post partum & I still have my stitches & I'm still sore. With my 1st baby, I wasn't healed at my 6 week appt, so the dr told us to wait at least 3 additional weeks before having sex. I don't think I'm healed yet, because I'm still sore :/

chrisplus3 - 320 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i guess every one is different, my stiches for all the deliveries didnt fall off til 5 weeks after delivery, and going back to normal took a little way after that, but like i said every body is different. Good luck hun!

llsbabe123@yahoo.com - 320 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The stitches went away like in a week and to fee normal maybe two weeks..... trying to rememeber
