Potty training???

my son is 21 months and will pee and poop on the potty as long as he`s nude as soon as I put shorts on he pees and says uh oh... I`m just worried I`m training a nudeest ?? Should we just stay home naked for a few days until he has it mastered?? Any helpful hints appreciated we have a girl four months so one out of diapers would be a bonus ;))

What I did was I let him pick out underwear and we stayed home for two days and I just kept him in underwear. When he would start to go in his pants I would quietly scoop him up and take him to the potty. I would take off his dirty underwearand say these are icky we go potty in the toilet. He had 17 accidents for first day, 4 the second day, and after that he was trained. I always made a big deal when he made it in the potty.

skydivedoc - 317 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Interesting problem! My 21-month-old daughter will tell us she has to pee- even if she's wearing a diaper- goes in the potty like a champ! She hasn't pooped in the potty yet- we've had in the pants & tub... she just hasn't gotten that one down. She knows when she has to poop so it's kind of funny that she's having a challenge with it. I don't really have any helpful hints (as I'm doing this for the 1st time too) but I wanted to tell you not to worry that you're training a nudist. haha. ;)
