Very faint negative pregnancy test. Should I retest?

I`m about two days late. Yesterday I took a pregnancy test it came back negative. However the line was VERY faint. If I am pregnant would it show up now if I had sex at the end of June? I`m not sure why I`m late. I`m never late. I started a new medication for migraines 3 weeks and I`m not sure if the medicine caused a change in my cycle. I talked to the pharmacist and he said the medicine only causes bleeding into between periods. so I`m not sure what to think!! Should I retest? Why was the line so faint?

leopard print - 1305 days ago The test is negative. I posted a picture. The test I bought has +/- results.

A faint control line PLUS a faint test line it positive, darlin! If you just got a test line but no control line then the test is invalid.

leopard print - 1306 days ago kmrkat- did the second test come back positive?

kmrkat *BLUE* - 1306 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) When I took my first test this pregnancy the line was so faint that I did not even see it until I layed the stick on the counter, then upon closer inspection I say the line. I used first response. I waited and tested 4 days later and my line was darker.

leopard print - 1306 days ago The First Response I've used weren't digital and they were very accurate. I told him to get First Response but he forgot what brand I told him so he grabbed EPT.

lisseo - 1306 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I wouldn't do a digital what ever you do. They are no where near as accurate, and take longer to register the hormones. From my experiences atleast. I've never heard of a faint negative, so that definately sounds like a bad test

leopard print - 1306 days ago I like First Response as well. My bf bought EPT by mistake. I'll retest if it doesn't come by Monday. Thanks :)

cbv25 - 1306 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hmmm, weird. Well then it sounds like you got a rare dud test. I like First Response Early Response tests myself. Perhaps do a digital so you don't have to interpret lines...let the test do it for you?

leopard print - 1306 days ago I peed on it for awhile. I took it in the evening but I didnt eat or drink anything (I had a little water). That was my 3rd pee for the day. I've been sick for days.

leopard print - 1306 days ago you could barely see it and that was after letting it sit for minutes.

cbv25 - 1306 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Well if that was faint then you didn't pee on it long enough, or your urine was very diluted and not strong.

leopard print - 1306 days ago yes, faint negative.

cbv25 - 1306 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Oooooo, the negative line was faint?

leopard print - 1306 days ago it was a faint negative.

cbv25 - 1306 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) A line is a line, my friend! Pretty rare to get a false positive, especially when you're late. I'd re-test but assume you're preggo. Congrats! :D
