Hello mommies and soon to be mommies! I had a quick ?, I am 25 weeks pregnant and everything has seemed fine so far in my pregnancy but for the last month I have been having this annoying/medium painful pain on the LEFT side of my tummy - about 6-7 inches left of my belly button. It feels kinda like gas pains and at first thats what I thought it was..but now i just dont know, it hurts when I use my abdomen muscles too.. I was just wondering if anyone else has felt this and if i should let my OB know, I go in on Tuesday so I might just tell him then.. Thanks!

khangel2001 - 298 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Sounds like round ligament pains, from the uterus growing and stretching. I didn't have it too bad with my daughter, but with my son I was sore all the time. I just rested when it got too bad. I thought too that with the second pregnancy it would be use to stretchin, guess not lol. Hope you feel better and that it's just stretching.

My midwife says it's just from things stretching in there. I would mention it to your doctor as that's always the best way to go. I don't know if this is your first baby or not, this is my 4th and usually these things appear more with each pregnancy. I never had this before with my other pregnancies.
