When I went to the er the doc there said I had protine in my urine wich I get told every time I`m pregnant so I was like yea and? And he said it is the leading cause of miscarige. I had never heard that befor and I looked it up and found nothing. Do you know anything about this. I know my kidneys are fine and I don`t have preclampsia

anb30 - 245 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I always have one trace of protein in my urine twice. I have never heard of anything relevent to a misscarriage. The only thing I've heard of is pre-ecalampsia. The last time I went I had none. I don't think that Docter knows what he's talking about.

pinksx33 - 246 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Don't worry yourself..when i was pregnant, i had protein in my urine during 3 diff appointments..one of the nurses told me not to worry because sometimes it can be because you didn't clean yourself proprly down there while wiping and stuff..

rainbow15 - 246 days ago Thank you I kinda thought he was fulla shiz but I figured id ask you ladies first I was told atleast every couple months I had protine in my urine with both my daugters and they keep puting me on macrobid wich did nothing so I don't even bother with that. My blood presure is always on the lower end it sometimes bothers my doctor how low it is but that's just how its always been.

plantlvr07 - 246 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) The only bad thing I've ever heard about protein in the urine is that it's a sign of pre-eclampsia. So if you don't have that, then I don't understand what the major miscarriage risk would be. If you've had it with your other pregnancies and had no problems, and your BP stays good, then I wouldn't stress about it!

happy-mummy - 246 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would get a second opinion, it seems a bit stupid to just say that, if it was the leading cause there would be way more info on it, protein in urine often indicates a UTI , many pregnant ladies get them!

I have kidney problems and I scare the ones in the ER when they test my level, then I'm like I have KIDNEY problems that is in my file. Protein in your urine can be many things and I haven't heard that one ever!
