JSmummy - 1171 days ago Just quick update ladies, I am no longer pregnant, i had to have D&C started bleeding and running temp. Doctor said not to wait any longer, i did have another scan and all we saw was empty sac. My husband and myself feel really sad. Wishing you all healthy pregnancy. We will try next summer, need sometime off. All the best to you all. I am thankful to all your support! You are all great bunch of girls.xxxx hugs to all!! - 1171 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am so so sorry. Miscarrying is thee hardest thing ever. I myself went through one back in August 3rd 2012. I was 14 weeks pregnant.. With another boy feel pregnant when my son was 6mths. I never went through one ever this has been my first and hope my last. For me it was very painful like contractions started of at 2am delivered my baby at 6am. I then needed a d&c to clean out what was left. I was told it would be a 50/50 chance of carrying full term or misscarrying. At 6weeks i started bleeding dark briwn blood. All the way till 10wks, everything came unexpected. Just pray everything will be fine we couldnt find a heartbeat till 8wks via-ultrasound. It was scary but stay positive. Hope things turn out best for you. Keeping you in my prayers.

pantira - 1175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi I would maybe suggest letting nature take is course, and agree with Baby Schofield. With my current pregnancy they told me I was six weeks and there was no hb.. I had to wait another couple of weeks, and sure enough it was there. You cant be accurate on conception date so early in the pregnancy. So I would ask for another ultrasound in a week and then make a decision if nature doesnt take care of things for you. I am sorry for your situation xx

kristy rose - 1175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Sorry for your loss hun :(

lolabean08 - 1175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've had 2 m/ c's first I let pass naturally. It's was not for me it took almost 2 weeks for any cramping or bleeding to start. Then I passed huge clots for 4+ days each time think maybe that was baby no maybe that was baby it was 2.5 weeks of. Torture knowing I was walking around with a dead baby in my tummy. And it took so long to get to the ok now it's gone time to mourn and work on healing stage to begin. So when I had my second same story mc after seeing heart beat I opted for d and c next day to once again mourn and start the healing.

EmaUk - 1175 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am so sorry to hear your news hunny..I have had 2 natural M/ at 12weeks and one at 6weeks ...I think if you can let your body do it naturally it is best...xx

mummyteegs - 1176 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi there, I'm sorry for your situation. With my 3rd pregnancy I went to docs at 8 weeks to b told nothing progressed past 6 weeks and no heart beat. They waited 1 more week but u still hasn't had one single cramp or spot if blood. Still had morning sickness and everything too. So I had the DnC the day I should have been 9 weeks. It was a instant relief. I mean I was defies tater about the loss of my baby but I felt I could move on and start thinking straight once I woke up from procedure. Nothing was painful and I was only a little tender for that day. X

allynne7 (jaime) - 1176 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've had 3. All were natural m/c's. The first two were just blood clots. One moment I was fine and the next moment the cramps hit. Over the hour they got really bad. At that point I had to leave the meeting I was in and go home. About 4 hours later it was all over. For the last one it happened the exact same way. I was fine and then I was in pain. I was a bit farther than 6 weeks with this one so along with the blood clots there were veins where the baby had started to form and it was a solid mass; not squishy. With this m/c I also had to push the baby out. Just like with a full term baby that pressure sensation hit and with one push my little one was out. With this one I had a very private funeral. The difference between a natural M/c and having a D&C is that the hospital will give you something to help the pain. With a natural m/c the contractions have to do the job and even with it being such a small thing to expell it's still very painful, IMO. I am so sorry for what you are experiencing.

refinnejlee - 1176 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) oh wow...I am so sorry for your loss and as someone who has been there 6 times herself, I never did have a d&c. There is no right or wrong answer in this choice, you just have to decide how YOU want to say goodbye. Did you want to let it stay inside you to allow you more time to grieve? Or did you just want the pregnancy over and done with so that you can just move on and maybe try again? These are just 2 examples of questions you want to ask yourself. Again, no right or wrong answer, just a very sad situation that nobody should ever have to go through :(

BabySchofield - 1176 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I am so sorry for everything you are going through :( I have had 2 miscarriages and both were natural, it is better for the body to get rid of he pregnancy naturally if possible. If you are miscarrying you don't have to bleed right away. I started miscarrying at 7 weeks with my first miscarriage and it turned out I had lost the baby the week b4 (I was hit by a car) going by ultrasound and hcg levels, it just took time for my cervix to open up and all that....with my second miscarriage I don't know how far along I was but I started bleeding pretty much the day after I was told I was miscarrying. I hope everything is ok for you, maybe your dates are just off? Sometimes it takes a little more time to see anything on the ultrasound. I would ask for another one next week if nothing has happened by then. hugs x

JSmummy - 1177 days ago I am so happy for all your support, it is so nice to feel that i can speak to you all openly, it is such a nervracking time for me, i just have to be patient and wait till something happens, i have booked for another scan just to see what is happening, weirdest thing of all i still have my prego symptoms. I will keep you all updated either way, thanks again for your kind words! Hugs!xx

yayfornumber2 - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi---I have never had either but I had a friend who whad a d&c...and from what I thought, a d&c was only if your body wouldn't do it naturally and they HAD to...I would let it happen on it's own...another member on here, maybe you can speak with her, I believe she was told she needed a d&c and she didn't trust the doctors so she didn't have it done and went on to have a healthy baby...I can't remember the exact details but you should speak with her and get her story it's very wonderful...her name on here is ilexalways good luck

sma123 - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) mrs.jandrews - I had a similar experience - I lost a baby at almost 12 wks. I felt like I was in labor (not as bad, but same style pains) and when I stood up, I felt a huge gush and the baby came out. I can still picture it to this day and during the pregnancies that I've had since, I haven't been able to look at pregnancy websites until I'm much further along b/c the pictures bother me.

mrs.jandrews - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I didn't see much when I m/c at 7 weeks it was more clots then anything, but I did see a very very small embryro at 9 weeks. I felt it coming out so I caught in tissue, as I wasn't sure if it would have to go for testing. It was very emotional, I can still see it in my mind and that was 5 years ago!

1st-time-Toya - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) First, I am sooo soo sorry that you are going thru this. But there is still hope! But my first pregnancy ended in miscarriage. I went to the ER for horrible backaches at 10 weeks and they told me I was having a miscarriage so I waited two weeks and then set up a appt with my OB/GYN just to be sure and at 12 weeks they also told me the same thing, miscarriage. There was no heartbeat, just a blob on the screen. I chose the misoprostol. Honestly, even with the misoprostol I say it took me at least 2 months of bleeding off and on for everything to be gone. If i could go back in time, I probably would have just done the D&C to just get it over with but I have never had a D&C so I cant say that for sure. I also didn't have any bleeding or cramping before going to the ER just bad backaches.

lostandfound1684 - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hey hon, I am so sorry for what youre going through, but like you said, it may not be the case so there is still hope everything is okay. I had a D&C in August. I had to have one because the baby had passed away around 6 weeks and we didnt find out until the sono at almost 11 weeks (crazy i went all that time without knowing). They gave me misoprostol which I had to "insert" over 2-3 days, and that wasn't working...there was no bleeding whatsoever. It was VERY emotional and very frustrating to insert and wait so many times, with it all to end up with surgery anyways. If you do find out the baby is definitely gone, I would opt for the D&C unless you start bleeding naturally right away. The D&C does suck, because you have surgery just to leave the hospital empty handed, so to speak, but at the same time it allows you to heal from the loss and not prolong the inevitable by using meds and waiting. I was put to sleep before they even got me to the OR, and it felt like seconds later I woke up in recovery, and then went home an hour or so later, not in much pain (physical pain that is). That was my experience, I hope it helps. Im so sorry you even have to think about this :( - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) After one week u def cannot see a baby or a heartbeat! Get another scan...I had a d&c and it was a bad experience bc it was so cold and warmth or support. They took me in a room, put me to sleep an then for recovery I sat in a chair with gauze pads under me until the anesthesia wore off. I didn't see anything bc I was under anesthesia. Recovery was fine tho...only bled for maybe 2 days? No pain or cramps. The reason for a d&c is to avoid infection...get everything out at once instead of leaving it in there until it comes out. Either way I'm sorry but good luck ...hugs to u

JSmummy - 1177 days ago My doctor thinks i am measuring around 6weeks 4 days but my LMP i should be around 7 weeks and 4 days. I am in shock because so many people say after one week they could see the baby and heartbeat. i will wait another week before making decision. I don't want to kill the fetus if it is late implanter or i ovulated later. Thanks for your stories it really does help knowing that so many women go through this stuff everyday. I guess it is part of our life almost. Well i already bondet with this bub and i was picturing future... i am so sad knowing i will never get to know him/her. I am sorry that you all went through this if i made your wounds fresh again.

em2 stewarts wife - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have had 2 natural m/cs at 7 weeks and 2 D&Cs between 13 and 15 weeks. Definitly natural is the way to go. It is like a very heavy period. Was this your first ultrasound? you can be off your days by a couple weeks make sure they do another scan before doing any procedure or medication.

joelyne - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm sorry that you are going through that, I recently had a m/c they said that they could see a sac or a fetal pole.My Doctor recommended having Methotrexate for possible ectopic pregnancy, the m/c happened the next day and last a week. I hope in your case you don't need to get this shot. GL with everything, BTW Are your periods irregular, could you just be real early on in your pregnancy?

JSmummy - 1177 days ago thanks ladies i never had m/c before so i am not sure what to expect, my doctor wants to perform D&C. Hubby is scared from all this things,Sorry if i am asking to much info. Did you see the embriyo? I am scared from seing embryo and what did you do with the loss, blood cloths(did you burried)...?.I don't know what to expect Sorry.

mrs.jandrews - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have only had 2 natural m/c. One was at 7 weeks and the other at 9 weeks. It wasn't too bad, cramping was worse the further along (9weeks) but I am glad I didn't need medical intervention! No matter when it happens it is truly heartbreak. Wish you the best of luck.

rinstar77 - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had a m/c at 7 weeks a few months ago. It was natural. Honestly I am glad I didn't have to have a d&c. I was able to be home and not have to be in the hospital with a bunch of strangers witnessing what I was going through.

sma123 - 1177 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have have both D&C's and natural m/c's. I prefer (using that term lightly) natural (just would rather not have an unnecessary medical procedure).
