Isn't it so annoyng when you can't breathe through your nose? And if that weren't enough, my nose runs all the time! How is that possible to have both at the same time? I go through SO much kleenex!! Any recommendations?

i know what you mean.. I am 28wks and I can't breath cause my nose is so stuffed up.. it is driving me crazy!!
my nose is always runny and i am always sneezing! It is so annoying and my nose just might fall off...lol. I am 16 weeks now and i don't think it is going to go away until I deliver.
Treatment or advice:
I have tried Benadryl, Chlortrimeton, Nasalcrom...all seems to work temporarily. I feel bad if I take them all the time. Don't like to take meds if I don't have to.

I had the stuffiness a lot with my last pregnancy and found that Breathe Right Strips, especially the ones with Vicks built it worked wonders. I've already started getting it this time around and need to go get some strips!
I recall having really dry sinus passages that prompted me to go to the Dr and thats how i found out I was 6 weeks pregnant!
My Dr told me that some women get it early one due to the hormones going craxy!
Treatment or advice:
I was prescribed some nasal spray called Rhino. Its the only one pregnant women can have. It worked well! Things got better after week 10.
My nose is always stuffy! It's driving me insane..I get up in the middle of the night to blow my nose, because I can't breathe properly!
Treatment or advice:
I'm led to believe this is normal and will pass around the same time morning sickness would have..if I'd had it. But I don't, so I guess a stuffy nose is a fair trade. It's really annoying though...`oh the joys!`
Constant sinus/ blocked or runny nose - comes and goes over a period of weeks.
This may be a result of a super-sensitive sense of smell; or heightened allergies due to your pregnancy.
Treatment or advice:
Be sure to get lots of fresh air; stay away from second-hand smoke and dust. Sensitivity to pet hairs might also be a reason. If the irritation continues, your doctor may suggest a homeopathic nose spray. Chewing gum has also proven helpful (perhaps the mint/menthol helps clear the sinus). Increase your water intake - a lot of fluid can be lost via a runny nose and/or over-production of mucus/ phlegm.
