| Discomfort: | The urge to constantly move my legs. I believe I'm having restless leg syndrome that developed early in the pregnancy and hasn't ceased yet. Its horrible late in the evening and just gets worse through the night as I try to sleep. Not cramps, just the horrible urge to keep moving them, I can't sit still and watch tv. Nothing relieves the urges. I have them all day, and it just gets worse. |
| Treatment or advice: | My Dr. told me to get more excercise. This only makes it even worse!! I try all kinds of stretching muscles, yoga, walking......none of it helps. Its horrible, not pain.....but do you know how it feels to be unable to actually sit still for 10 seconds?? |

| Discomfort: | Horrible cramps in my calves while trying to relax in bed, combined with what I believe to be RLS. I start getting uncomfortable once I've lain down, finally fall asleep, and then cramps when I move wake me up. Exercise CANNOT be the answer for me, as I am a BALLET DANCER and am still teaching/demonstrating, and taking class once a week, and riding my bike with my dog for about 15-30 minutes in the evenings.... |
| Treatment or advice: | So far, raising my legs for about 10 minutes, letting all the blood drain out of them, and then putting them down quickly is the only relief for the RLS. I can feel the blood throb back in...re: the cramps, the only think I can think to do is make an appointment for massage and a thing called PRESSOTHERAPY. They put these boots on you all the way up to your thighs, and then rythmically tighten them, kind of like having your blood pressure taken....I'm going to make an appointment this week. Its not cheap, tho, about 65$..... |

| Discomfort: | Severe calf spasms, started in wk 24 im now in 28. I wake up in the middle of the night with intense pain that comes in waves, my entire leg has a will of its own and will fold by itself so I am really unable to move the leg. First time lasted well over a half an hour, wave comes in and releases (the release is satisfying but lasts only about 5 seconds before the pain comes again.) These episodes leaves my leg in painful shock for days. |

| Discomfort: | I am getting charlie horses in my shins at night. Pointing my toes will not help. It leaves me screaming and crying and rolling around on the floor. |
| Treatment or advice: | Was told to eat bananas because the potassium relieves them. No such luck! I am now stuffed full of bananas with really achy legs! |

| Discomfort: | It began a couple months ago and has gotten progressively worse over the past few weeks. I wake up in the night and the back of my lower legs are cramped up so bad that I cannot move! And to make matters worse, after the muscle pain subsides and I am able to get up and walk, I will feel terrible pain in my legs for a week after. So, I am basically in constant leg pain. |
| Treatment or advice: | I have tried to drink more water and put my feet up more at night. Now, the cramps are coming back, so I am going to try to eat more bananas for potassium. |

| Discomfort: | it is like a permanent charlie horse in both my claves that dont go away |
| Treatment or advice: | i have tried RubA535 to try to relieve the pain but i only helps for 10 minutes. I also tried soaking my legs in a hot bath but that only works for so long. I tried eating bananas and milk but nothing. It eventually just went away a week later. I kept my feet up and also did some stretching |
