It sounds like a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. Your OB can diagnose this really quickly by a regular pap. I had BV not too long ago (im in week 20) I had really bad itching/swelling but I didnt have the yeasty discharge

I have experienced this pain also. I have 2 kids and lost one in Jan. and I never remeber this kind of pain but everyone thinks its just normal. I can't walk for long periods of time I just have to sit down.

Well i thought i was the only 1!! I have it and it feels like you have a yeast infection, I also notice that if you hold your urine it irritates it. Glad to know Im not alone!!

I am almost 36 weeks and I have been experiencing the exact same thing. My vulva itches and feels swollen. It hurts to walk and get in and out of the car. I went to the ER and the doc could not find anything wrong with me. He did not see any swelling or irritation. I don't know what to do about this discomfort. I am so glad that I am not the only one going through this

i have unbareble itching around the vaginia . it ussualy occures at night . i also get east infections it started as soon as i took these antibiotics for a staff infectioni got on my nose. also right in the middle of takeing the medicine and getting eastinffection i started to notice a hardscare like bump right between anus and vaginia area .

do exactly what your doctor said, light pregnancy water arobics and light swimming will definetly do the problem better. this is my second pregnancy and i am 21 weeks, just see your doctor every appt. tell him/her how you feel, if getting better or not, make sure you see a prenatal class if you have not already this also does wonders on facing pains like that also to get you ready and more confident in your labour and birthing stage!! __________________________ destiny-13 months old wonderful wife to a wonderful husband pregnant with twins-21 2/7 weeks pregnant

| Discomfort: | i am 38 weeks and 1 days pregnant today and this is my second pregnancy, ne ways the pain that i am experiancing is in my lower anterior level of my pelvic bone feels like i am about to give birth to a head! i am 5 cm dilated and 85% effaced and still no sign that this baby wants out! i am in so much pain lots of pressure on bottom (buttox) and Dr. said nothing to worry about just go home and lie down and relax with feet elivated but i had this problem with first pregnancy as well and that did not help and is not helping this pregnancy eithor, i am in so much pain and want this baby OUT NOW! lol does ne one have any advice on what to do? its too cold now for any swimming arobics or swimming for that matter even in doors...BRRRRR....but all the advice i can get would be great thanks ladies! |

They're probably skin tags. Lots of women get them during pregnancy. Most times they go away. I'd definitely mention them at your next appointment! I got them under my arms during my last pregnancy and all of them went away except one!

I recently found some brown bumps on both sides of my vulva. They look like moles, but they weren't there before. They don't itch or anything. In fact I didn't know they were there till I felt them while washing in the shower. I'm really freaked out! Any ideas what this could be?

This pain is most likely the ligaments around the pelvic bone getting softer to prepare this area for childbirth. i have tis pain. it is worse in the morning but it also hurts whenever i need to get low close to the floor. i'm 37 weeks.

Mommee2be: I have the same feeling! It hurts to pee and I feel like something is going to fall out like the baby's head or my insides. I hate this pain. I also have lower left back pain close to the kidney area. Dr's said I might have passed a stone last week the pain was so bad.

| Treatment or advice: | well my treatment, that has helped me some what, is to sleep with a thick pillow between my legs at night to keep the pressure from just sitting there all night, with the weight of my legs and baby sitting on my pelvis and vagina...it seems to help a lil bit but it doesn't do mircles...lol...just helps out a lil...i think the onbly thing treatment is to have the baby...lol |

The pain in the groin is awful - seems that it doesnt go away with walking, sitting to rest or sleeping. Sitting on the floor or in my recliner makes life worse. Unable to walk sometimes. I am only 24 weeks with twins and have a feeling that it is just gonna get worse and that will make for a long 13 weeks. If you find a solution let me know.....

Around the skin...like when I sit down for even 15-30 minutes at a time on hard surfaces..like porch steps or something to talk on the phone, I notice that not just my butt goes numb, but the entire area, those flaps of skin around my groin. I'm 25wks and 3 days pregnant. This has been occuring for a couple of months now.

It feel as if it's my muscles in that area but nothing happened to cause this pain in the last few days. I read that it could be round ligament pain. It is only in the vaginal area and feel deep within the muscles. Any info would be appreciated and I'm going to tell ob about it at next app. |

| Discomfort: | It all happened straight after i had lifted the edge of a single bed with my foot to move it. I had only lifted it maybe 1 cm off the ground when i felt this pain in my vagina i had never felt before. It was so intense that i had to slump down on the bed and massage my whole vaginal area. I sat there for a few minutes and then decided to get up, as i went to walk away the pain became very excruciating. I can only describe the pain as something that you might feel if you were to accidentally do the splits. It felt as though i had badly strained my vagina muscles. After 2 weeks i thought the pain would subside but it hasn't. It actually has gotten worse. I find it hard to put my pants on, rolling over on my side in bed, getting out of the car, walking, running, going up stairs, going down stairs! Its a pain in the backside because this is the first time i have experienced this and i feel like i might have to stay in bed for weeks just for this muscle strain to go away!!!! |
| Treatment or advice: | I don't know any treatments for this pain but a tip i can give is that when i massage my vagina and where the pain hurts the most, the pain goes away for a little bit. 5 Min's the most but it does help and i do feel a bit of relief if only it is for a wee bit. |

This pain is called pubic symphisis, or something like that, I believe. I have been experiencing this for quite some time, and it seems to be worst during the night, trying to roll over. Sleeping iwth a pillow between the legs can help.

I totally feel your pain!! I feel like I have been kicked between the legs!! I am 30 weeks today and I have been feeling the same way. I asked my OB and he said that it is most likely the baby moving into postition. With me the discomfort is on and off and its mostly in the morning when i wake up and when i walk. Sometimes sleeping with a pillow doesnt even work. I just keep on thinking that it'll all be worth it in a few weeks :)

At 33 weeks I am now feeling extrememly sensitive and swollen right above the pubic bone that goes on for about 2 inches up from there. The baby is head down, but doc says the head is not that far down. Very painful to turn over in bed at night, hips pop when I get up to pee at night and left hip sometimes gives out in the morning.

Got a sore feeling between my upper thighs and my groin about a week ago. Finding it difficult to get up after sitting, difficult to walk, hard to turn in bed. Gets more tender as the day goes on. Week 31 of pregnancy and the babies head is down so thinking that may be it. Will ask doctor on my next visit. Quite uncomfortable.

I've been getting the same thing as KO, but only sometimes. it's like when i pee i have to make absolute sure that it all comes out because if not it happens without fail. this has probably been going on for about 2 weeks now, since i was in week 8.

This comment is too Rene...i'm too have the problem that you are having...speaking of this problem, i was having it last night after me hubby and i had sex. I take showers everytime were done having sex and it burns like hack when i pee...and also when the water touches it...not just the water but anything in gerenal...i go to sleep and the pain is still there....during the night i'll wake up just FINE!! and in the morning when i go to use the bathroom..there's no buring when i pee???...Many say it's a yeast infection? but just ask your doctor when you go to see her...Personaly i dont think it's a yeast infection. I think it's because the baby's head is already faced down and having sex can make it hurt sometimes??....but i too have to ask my doctor this friday!!...i will come back on here to let you kno what she say's....

I have to same problem I don't itch or get bumps, but I do swell up and it burns really bad too. The only thing that I find that helps even a little but hurts when you do it, is to sit in a tube of hot water. I only fill the tub up a little though.

| Discomfort: | Insane itching of the vulva & vagina. Not Yeast or STD related. Makes it very difficult to make it though the day. Scraching the itch because it is driving me insane. Not having discharge if anything the area feels dry. |
| Treatment or advice: | I have tryed making paste w/ baking soda & water to relieve itch. Minor relieve for maybe 1 hour. I have tryed 100% aloe gel. Same relieve. I have tryed Vaseline. Same relieve. Can anyone suggest something safe that will give relief for more then an hour?? |

Hey, I had yeast infection type itching also, and it seemed to get worse at night, even though it was all day. I was discharging, though, but I ate 2 or 3 yogurts a day for about a week, and it went away. I figure it was probably a yeast thing, but the yogurt obviously helped. And I'm still discharging so I may not have just been discharging from the infection..

I asked my doctor about it and he said that there are two bones there with cartilage holding them together. The two bones are being pulled apart and the cartilage is what hurts in that area. There is really nothing to help with the pain except for heat and Tylenol. If the two bones separate he said that you could be put on bed rest.

Im 27 weeks pregnant. My pelvic pain is unbearable at times. It feels like my pubic bone is broken and is on fire.. it burns and aches. Rolling in bed and walking is TERRIBLE! Oh, unbearable.. it is making it so hard to take care of my three very active boys.

| Discomfort: | It feels as if my pubic bone is broken, it crunches, burns, aches and makes it hard to stand, walk, roll over, get dressed.. k, pretty much everything! |
| Treatment or advice: | A warm bath tends to help, keeping legs close together as much as possible, staying active but being careful. The docs put me on tylenol 3 and muscle relaxants but I hate taking anything so I save them for those really hard nights when I cant walk due to the pain. Cant wait until this is over.. its unbearable. |

It ONLY gets worse as u get further along in your pregnancy. I wear a panty shield to protect myself and my clothes. It can range from a clear color to a as Thatch said a milky color. As long as there is no blood or smell to it, its normal. So, dont worry. Its a part of our oh so lovely hormons.. LOL

Im the same, Completely moist down there and by top of my inside upper thighs! I wash everyday, still same. Some say it be only sweating, but its from when i get out of bed, nothing to do with sex fluids either. Havent been at it. Im 28 weeks be afraid its my waters leaking!! Anyone know feels gooey damp and white creamy discharge. Help!

| Discomfort: | Today I started feeling vaginal / pelvic pain. It's extremely low, and almost feels like it's inside my left vaginal wall. I feel it when I walk and when I squat or bend and try to stand up. I couldn't even hunch over to change into my pjs without feeling it. My sister says it's pressure from the baby, but I'm still a little worried since it came on strong just today. Also, I'm only 6 months pregnant and I personally think it's just a bit too soon to be feeling pressure from the baby. Besides, it happens every time I walk or bend... I'm sure the baby isn't putting pressure down there every second of the day... It's making me pretty much limp when I walk |

| Discomfort: | The bones in the front of my pelvis are very painful when lying down. Cannot roll over from side to side when sleeping. Often cracks when trying to get up from bed. Also is very painful when trying to put pants on. Lifting one leg up uses muscles around that pelvic area. |
| Treatment or advice: | Midwife said chiropractics may help. Either that or a belly support. No luck yet%21%21 |

| Discomfort: | I've heard that vaginal excretions are supposed to be increased, but i'm constantly `moist` ( for a lack of better words).. It's very uncomfortable when i'm out, because i have a constant urge to wipe myself. It's not painful or anything, just very annoying. Has anyone been experiencing extreme discharge or should i check it out? ( It's not leaking down my leg or anything that bad, but it feels like it could be abnormal.) |

| Discomfort: | Symphisis Pubis Dysfunction - It feels like somebody is drilling into my pubic bone. And when I get in and out of the bath, the car or bed, it feels like my pubic bone is on fire. Very, very, very painful. I can't even turn over in bed without screaming in agony. |
| Treatment or advice: | Try to keep your legs closed (a bit late for that, hahaha!) as much as possible. Anything that means you have to open your legs, even walking up stairs, will really hurt. Twist around on your bum rather than opening your legs to climb into something. When you put your underwear and trousers on, sit on the bed first and try to keep your legs as closed as possible, before standing up and pulling your clothes up. |

i have this condition and it has gotten worse and worse, im due tomorow an is now unbearable at times, i am housebound due to not being able to cope wiv the pain...it has been suggested i mite need to have a cesearean bcos the condition is goin to affect my labour. like u stress it is really important to keep legs closed but also there is a support belt u can get from phsiotherapist which prevents symptoms worsening, my condition was too far gone for this tho...by the end of the day i am crawling from room to room bcos the pressure of walking is just agony...hope it goes after childbirth!!

| Discomfort: | Between my vagina and the crease of my thigh, on one side only, everything is swollen. It doesn't hurt, but the skin is stretched and it feels peculiar. When I press on it, I can feel resistance that I don't feel on the other side. It's not a hard lump but a large evenly swollen area. DH & I had sex for the first time in a month the morning before I noticed it. Maybe I am just swollen (5 days later?) from that? Don't know but I see my OB next week and will ask. in the meantime, I'm not exactly wanting more sex... |

| Discomfort: | When I walk or stand it hurts bad. Almost takes my breath away. Feels like a lot of pressure, some times stabbing pain. |
| Treatment or advice: | Doctor said likely its loose ligaments (my 3rd pregnancy). He said to use maternity belt, and girdle....none of which really help. Applying heat sort of helps, like a bath or heating pad. |
