| Discomfort: | When I sleep my hands tend to go numb and swell abit. I thought maybe that I was sleeping on them wrong, but after taking a few cat naps in my car at work, I sleep with one hand on my head and the other on my stomach and they still go numb in a couple of minutes. |

| Discomfort: | I developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome right after I gave birth to my son seven years ago. Now that I'm pregnant again, it worsened. It causes pain to my hands when I hold anything heavy or so little. I usually wake up in the middle of the night because of numbness on both hands especially when my hands or wrists are too bent, have been laid upon by something heavy or when they sit above the level of my heart. It's just too irritating and uncomfortable. I am not able to work pretty well. |
| Treatment or advice: | The doctor told me to avoid the above situations and actions that trigger the pain and numbness, avoid exposure to too much cold, doing highly repetitive hand movements and performing fine movements for long periods like writing, sewing or typing. Surgery could be an option for chronic cases. |

| Discomfort: | I have been experiencing itching of my palms to the point that they throb and hurt... they arent swollen, but obviously become discolored after I scratch them enough. |
| Treatment or advice: | My doctor told me that women usually dont get this until the third trimester.. and that its normal..to just take Benadryl. Though, I looked it up, and it says that if its severe with no jaundice, it may be something serious.... so it bothers me a bit... not to mention is WONT GO AWAY. My entire body is itchy now, but the worst of it is my palms and fingers.... |

| Discomfort: | My hands have been going numb on and off and the right one feels sore -- the muscholes feel tight. |
| Treatment or advice: | I was told this would go away after I give birth. That is the only real solution. |

| Discomfort: | It started with a tingling and numbness in my thumb which eventually gave way to a pain, especially when I flex my right thumb. After a week the pain is now in my wrist and effecting my range of motion and activities like opening jars. |

| Discomfort: | From the top of my right shoulder all the way to the fingers it is constant pain. Middle, ring and pinkie fingers go numb all the time. Nothing I do eases it unless I shake my wrist constantly but then that adds to the discomfort. Any suggestions would help at all right now. I'm thinking a pinched nerve, but i'm not a doctor..... |
