Discomfort:A big vein purple and red in colour has appeared, it doesnt look like stretch mark?
Treatment or advice:It sometimes looks darker than other times.

Discomfort:I have a sharp pain on the left side of my stomach near the center, that is so intense all I can do is lay down and wait for it to end. It last about two minutes and I have had them throught out the day. Does anyone know what this is?

HEY GIRL. I WANTED TO COMMENT ON YOUR DOSCONFRONT B/C I'M 13 WKS AND I'VE HAD THAT SAME PAIN ON MY LEFT ABDOMINAL. 1ST TIME I GOT IT IT LASTED 3 DAYS AND WENT AWAY. THEN CAME BACK FOR 2 DAYS THE FOLLOWING WEEK. I WENT TO THE E.R THE 1ST TIME AND THEY DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. THE ONLY THING THEY MENTIONED WAS THAT IT BE FROM THE FIBRIODS I'VE GOT. SO CHECK ON THAT...TAKE CARE

I am having to the same sharp pains in my left side of my stomach and I don't know what it is. I am 22 weeks. I can feel my baby move and I also have bowel movements but It is really scary bc it hurts really bad during that time.

Discomfort:I have had this pain with all three of my pregnancies now. It is an intense pain that only intensifies as the day goes along. By the mid to end of the day it hurts to move and and even breath.
Treatment or advice:The only thing that makes the pain better during pregnancy is to go to bed and stop moving, but when I wake up and start my day again, the pain starts all over. I've mentioned it to my OB, he says it might be a fibroid. After the baby is born though, the pain is gone...only 26 more days until my due date and it can't come a minute too soon.

I have been having what sounds like similar pain and that's how I came across this site. I think you may have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Not all the symptoms of IBS are as severe as constipation or diarrhea. I would ask your doctor to look again at all your symptoms. Keeping a diary for a month detailing food and your bowel movements. You may be surprised at what this will identify. Diet is a great way to keep some control of IBS from what I have read and do not be duped into buying any medication. I found some on the internet. Its not a miracle cure. A healthy diet and regular exercise should help.

I started having similar discomfort (to the left and above my navel) around 26 weeks. It disappeared at about 28 weeks, and reappeared - more strongly - at about 30 weeks. The past few days it's been very annoying. Lying done or giving some support to my belly seems to alleviate some of the discomfort, but it's still annoying. It's gone in the morning when I get up, but by the end of the day...all I want to do is lie down and relax.

This is my third pregnany also, and I have the exact same pain above my belly button. My dr. also said muscles streching, but I am so fed up with the pain, especially chasing after two kids.

Discomfort:i wake up in the night hungry or sleep through the night and im starved when i wake...before i was pregnant i would wake up and not be hungry for an hour or so now im always hungry and wake up in the night to have a little snack im already starting to eat more then i would normally and im only 5 weeks

I am 4 weeks and starving all the time. I don't sleep well because I am hungry and thirsty all night long not to mention the constant gas. I am congested so in the morning I cough a lot and have the dry hieves. I also get diarrhea I guess from all of the gas. So you are definatly not alone.

i am only 4 weeks pregnant, and i am hungry every half an hour, it doesnt matter what i eat, i am always hungry. i was told to enjoy it now, because soon, the thought of water is going to make your stomach turn!

Discomfort:Have huge stretch marks scars from a previous pregnancy and have noticed that the farther along I get ( bigger I get ) the area around the stretch marks has become very tender. extremely sore to the touch and the stretch marks are spreading and turning a very bright red.

Discomfort:Does anyone else have bad heartburn? Like if you were to lay down at night you would get sick? It feels at if my entire throat and chest is on fire. I am high risk so nervous to take anything. Any advice?

with the bad heartburn take tums they're good for calcium and perfectly healthy to take during pregnancy! my doctor actually reccommended taking them daily to keep up my calcium levels during pregnancy.

Discomfort:I started with these itchy bumps on my stomach and then it moved to my back, lower legs behind my knees and my arms near my arm pits..I've gone to the doct but they seem to think its an out break from something...I'm sick of itching, it wakes me up sometimes.
Treatment or advice:I've been taking Benedryl and cala dryl clear lotion to stop the itching but it's not helping.

Discomfort:week 7.this is the week my sickness started and now im 17 weeks 1 days pregnant and im still being sick alot. I often feel cramps in my upper tummy, but have gone to hospital and they said that its nothing to do with the pregnancy because the pain is so high up
Treatment or advice:if evrything is ok after a scan then dont worry too much about it

I have had alot of pains in the top of my belly.. and it sometimes takes my breath away.. i also realized i burp alot.. but when them pains come i dont want to move and just lay there in a certain stop so it doesnt hurt as bad!

Discomfort:a constant burning sensation in a vertical line from my belly button...almost 4-5 inches long...i've heard its from the muscles separating and it's worse when i've been up for awhile...only goes away when i lie down.
