Discomfort:I am now in week 23 and feel as if someone is sitting on my chest. It is getting increasingly harder to catch my breath. ANd I know it's not the baby up high because I feel him kicking low.

Zantac helps...kinda! I am 38 weeks today, and have had such bad heartburn for most of my pregnancy. I've complained to my doctor and he said i can take one zantac a day. that magic little pill helped me so much when i first started taking it i thought it was a miracle! I am able to sleep, eat, and drink with no problems. I would check with your doctor to see if it is ok in your pregnancy to take that pill. good luck to everyone who suffers with the heartburn - i know what you are all going through!!

Discomfort:I feel a flutter in my heart beats when I am at rest
Treatment or advice:My doctor said this is completly normal to feel but only when at rest never when being active. If it happens when Im being active i am supposed to contact him right away! (it never has)

I had the same thing-I felt my heart in like my throat..it would skip beats and felt like a flip-flop in my chest. I went to the doc and he ran tons of blood work. Come to find out, i have a magnesium deficiency and needed supplements. I was short of breath a lot with it and had to sleep in a recliner-it was terrible! Good luck

Treatment or advice:I have asthma, so I have an inhaler. Dr. says it's okay when I need it, but the biggest help is FRESH air and rest. Stuffy rooms aggravate my breathing and stairs are a beast to climb. Take it easy, get plenty of rest and breathe!
