| First noticed: | before pregnancy |
| Seriousness: | Unbearable |
| Discomfort: | It feels like a cramp or a pulling feeling. |
| Treatment or advice: | I just lay down to alleviate the discomfort. I don't want to take anything for it. Took a warm shower and helped. |

| Seriousness: | Quite bad |
| Discomfort: | I felt like I had a heaviness in the pelvic area. It seemed to worsen when I would walk. |
| Treatment or advice: | The doctor said the baby is sitting lower than it should be at this point and is causing alot of pressure. He said just to take it easy and avoid lifting heavy weight. |

| Seriousness: | Annoying |
| Discomfort: | I felt like the area has been bruised. The muscles that attach to the pubic symphisis are a bit sore when I move. After getting up from a nap without changing position, I heard my pelvis click and felt a very minimal pain. I think it's because my pelvic bones are loosening up a bit, for the baby's continuous growth and future delivery. |

| Discomfort: | 25 weeks with twin boys. Twins heads are both down, putting tons of pressure on my pelvic bones. |
| Treatment or advice: | Rest often, and lay on left side - per my OB/GYN. Pelvic pressure is caused by gravity, and having two babies, twice the pressure. |

| Discomfort: | I have these really bad muscle pains all around my vagina. When I try to get up or slimply move around it hurts a lot. It makes it really difficult to move around. |
| Treatment or advice: | I did tell my Dr. and he told me the pain is from all the stretching of the baby growing and the weight that I am carrying. He told me take Tylenol for the pain. He did advise me that pain is normal. |

| Discomfort: | At 15 weeks are started to experience a dull ache or feeling of pressure in my groin area. The left side is definitely worse then the right. It has been a week and the ache doesn't go away whether on my feet or off. Anyone else experienced anything similar. Will this last or go away. Can I excercise? |

| Discomfort: | I have been having terrible and unbearable shooting pains shooting up inside of me, I dont know whether it is from the back or the front, as it is in the middle, it starts by the vagina and shoots up until above my stomach, My stomach is very swolen and bloated, and I cry of stomach cramps the whole time. I went to go see my dr, she said that I have an infection, i used antibiotics and stuff, but I still get these pains? Can I be pregnant? Maybe in my tubes? I need help pls! |

| Discomfort: | A lot of pressure on my entire pelvic area. The right side of my vagina is more swollen than the left and hurts more. My hips and pelvic bone crack, often. Sometimes, it even feels like the baby may just fall out!! This is said to be caused by numerous pregnancies in a short period of time. (I have 3 children already and the oldest is 4) |
| Treatment or advice: | I'm still searching for one, but my docotor says to buy a maternity support girdle. Also, soaking in the bath time gives temporary relief. Stay off your feet as often as possible!! |

| Discomfort: | I get a lot of 'shifting' and 'rubbing' of the pelvic bones. It's pretty irritating but bearable. I also feel it from time to time when I am standing up. It's a pain like I slipped on the banana seat of a bicycle. I imagine it is jsut my body preparing for birth, but is there anything I can do to ease the discomfrot from time to time |

| Discomfort: | This is odd. Its seriously like the baby is kicking me in a nerve or something, and makes me jump out of my chair. I can't call it a shooting pain or anything, its just like someone is giving me a thwack from the inside. I had no clue that the baby could be hanging out that low down...I thought he was up higher...Its like he's got a foot lodged in the birth canal or something. Seriously uncool. Anyone else? |

| Discomfort: | I can't tell exactly what it is or where it is. The pain feels like the razor/burning pain of a UTI or a tearing senseation like someone is ripping through my cervix and vagina with a brillo pad. It only lasts a few seconds at a time but it hurts! I guess it's just everything starting to stretch and dilate. |
| Treatment or advice: | my nurse told me not to worry that it was normal. I'm 36 weeks next week so they start checking the cervix then. Hopefully I'm dilating, at least the pain will mean something. |

| Treatment or advice: | Rest - if possible. Paracetomol (doesn't help much). Had in last 2 pregnancies - called Symphisis Pubis Disorder, now knows as PRGP Pregnancy Related Girdle Pain ( I think). Usually disappears after labour. |

| Treatment or advice: | doctor told me i could take some advil only once in awhile. but can take tylenol and was prescribed EMTEC-3 it is just like tylenol 3 but without the codeine. and also prescribed ATIVAN...only take if necessary because it will be passed on to your babies blood stream it will affect them as well. |

| Treatment or advice: | SUPPORT BELT, FROM HOSPITAL, TO PUT UNDER BUMP, (TO SUPPORT BELLY AND TAKE PRESSSURE OF THE BABY, OFF BELLY) U CAN GET A LARGE TUBI GRIP,WHICH I WAS GIVEN, AND FOLD IT 3 TIMES TO MAKE A BELT, FROZEN BAG OF VEG OR SIMILAR , PLACE IT ON PRIVATE AREA, TO REALIVE PAIN, KEEP KNESS TOGETHER , AS MUCH AS U CAN, ALSO CONSULT UR DOCTOR, THIS PAIN COULD RESTRICT U MOVING UR LEGS,, SO INCLUDE IT IN UR BIRTH PLAN AS IT IS PAINFUL WHEN U OPEN UR LEGS, SO MAYBE BEING ON ALL FOURS WILL BE BEST POSITION FOR DELIVERY , I DIDNT HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH MY 1ST OR 2ND PREGNANCY , JUST NOW , MY 3RD, BUT I DELIVERED MY FIRST BABY WHEN I WAS ON ALL FOURS THATS JUST THE NATURAL THING I DONE, AND APPARENTLY, HAVE SINCE HEARD THAT GRAVITY HELPS THE BABY COME DOWN. |
