Discomfort:Oh awful pain!!! I actually had a dream they gave me a rib replacement :) It just hurts so bad constantly.

Discomfort:At first it felt like a back pain but then it started hurting like it was my insides. It's extremely painful and sometimes it actually makes me cry. No matter what position I get in, it still hurts. I looked it up online and the closest thing I found to my symptom was a possible kidney infection.
Treatment or advice:I haven't been to the doctor yet but the only thing that works is tylenol es and a heating pad and sometimes neither of those even help.

I have been getting to same pain. The first time it hurt so bad I cried. The last couple days it has come and gone but finally went away once I got myself a heating pad. It seems that it bothers me mostly at night when I am trying to sleep...of course. I did ask my doctor about it and she said it is most likely a muscle spasm and to apply heat.

I had this exact thing from about week 5 to week 9. My doc brushed it off, but it was very painful. Almost 3 months now and it's gone..whatever it was. I was beginning to think I was going to lose a kidney or something.. I hope it goes away for you soon!

Discomfort:I thought I had a kidney infection or stones, it hurt where my right kidney is.
Treatment or advice:turns out there is no infection or stones. they said the baby maybe putting pressure on the ureter which the urine flows through and backing it up causing this pain.

Discomfort:Every time I sit for more than 10 minutes I get the most horrible burning stabbing sensation in my back ribcage area. It starts out somewhat mid and within 15 minutes it's unbearable. Nothing helps except to stand and walk for a while. Sometimes if I stand for too long it'll hurt too. Work has become a nightmare as I sit all day.
