Discomfort:i have pain directly under the left side of my breast on the ribcage.
Treatment or advice:It hurts to breathe and it only feels a little better if i rub the area

Discomfort:I have unbelievable phlem production, chest congestion and the most aggrevating cough as a result. I've had it since the day I started taking Progesterone and Estradial (IVF). I feel as if I'm drowning in Phlem.
Treatment or advice:doctor says it's normal to have all this mucus production and just take Robitussin. It's caused by the hormones and the effect they have on membranes and blood vessels. It is also responsible for my shortness of breath. Why isn't this symptom on any of the lists? I have no morning sickness, no sore nipples, no other symptoms...just tired and drowning in phlem. So fun!

I had the same thing in my first trimester.. it started the day i realized I was pregnant (5 wks) and lasted until my second tri. I found releif by using a lot of vicks vapor rub and I would run hot water in my sink and drape a towel over my head to absorb the steam. I hope you feel better soon

Discomfort:I am now in week 23 and feel as if someone is sitting on my chest. It is getting increasingly harder to catch my breath. ANd I know it's not the baby up high because I feel him kicking low.

Discomfort:I feel a flutter in my heart beats when I am at rest
Treatment or advice:My doctor said this is completly normal to feel but only when at rest never when being active. If it happens when Im being active i am supposed to contact him right away! (it never has)

I had the same thing-I felt my heart in like my throat..it would skip beats and felt like a flip-flop in my chest. I went to the doc and he ran tons of blood work. Come to find out, i have a magnesium deficiency and needed supplements. I was short of breath a lot with it and had to sleep in a recliner-it was terrible! Good luck

Treatment or advice:I have asthma, so I have an inhaler. Dr. says it's okay when I need it, but the biggest help is FRESH air and rest. Stuffy rooms aggravate my breathing and stairs are a beast to climb. Take it easy, get plenty of rest and breathe!

Discomfort:am having major unbearable pain in my chest on the left side near my heart and in my upper left side of my back as if some one his stabbing me am 33 weeks pregnant and this is my 5th i have never had this pain before now and its killing me i can hardle move my left arm with out it causeing more pain in my chest and back more so in my upper back then in my chest. i try to lay down on my right side but it seems to make it worse.. what can i do please help
