Discomfort:Sometimes when I roll over in bed or get up from laying or sitting,it feels like my right ab muscles are tearing or stretching..anyone else get this? is it a bad thing? scares me!

My top 2 ab muscles began hurting a couple of weeks ago - I am now in week 32 of my pregnancy. These last 2 abs are the only visible muscles left in my stomach now!! They CONSTANTLY feel like they are being ripped apart and it burns all day. Sometimes my husband scratches my belly near the top where it hurts and it makes my abs feel better but that is the only thing that works...otherwise it is just burning all day.

Hi there, 30 weeks with twin boys, had horrible sleep last night, my left side just above my ribs feels like I have a briuse, it hurts when I rub it or a little pressure is on it, and also when I cough and blow my nose. There's also pain when I lay on my left side and back. This pain has just started in the last 24 hours, has anyone else had this. Thinking of ringing my midwife.

This to me sounds exactly what i have had most my life and i seemed to get it back pretty severly during pregnancy.. Its called Excema. try having a pinetarsol (thats what its called in Australia) bath. It really helps the itching and the soreness, and takes away the color.. it really does help.. or maybe mention it to your doctor.. maybe its something he hasnt heard of before?? You can looking it up on google and see if thats what you have??

I am almost 11 weeks pregnant. Several weeks ago I stood up from a chair and had a horrible pain in the lower righthand side of my abdomen. It still aches most of the time, just a dull ache though. I just have to be careful on how I move. I asked my doctor about it and she said it is a cyst that grows early in pregnancy to help support the uterus. I looked online and found a name for it : Corpus Luteal Cyst. She said it was nothing to worry about and that it will generally go away by itself. Hope this helps!

I to have had this for about 5 days now, it feels like a bruise, it hurts when I bend over or push on it, but other than that I really do not notice it. What do you think it is?

I to have had this pain. Mine is actually in one certain spot and only when i push on it. like i have a bruise inside. my dr. said ligament, but doesn't feel like that.

Discomfort:i wake up in the night hungry or sleep through the night and im starved when i wake...before i was pregnant i would wake up and not be hungry for an hour or so now im always hungry and wake up in the night to have a little snack im already starting to eat more then i would normally and im only 5 weeks

I am 4 weeks and starving all the time. I don't sleep well because I am hungry and thirsty all night long not to mention the constant gas. I am congested so in the morning I cough a lot and have the dry hieves. I also get diarrhea I guess from all of the gas. So you are definatly not alone.

i am only 4 weeks pregnant, and i am hungry every half an hour, it doesnt matter what i eat, i am always hungry. i was told to enjoy it now, because soon, the thought of water is going to make your stomach turn!

Discomfort:Have huge stretch marks scars from a previous pregnancy and have noticed that the farther along I get ( bigger I get ) the area around the stretch marks has become very tender. extremely sore to the touch and the stretch marks are spreading and turning a very bright red.

I had a lot of problems with morning sickness, I found that if I ate a small breakfast when I got up, had a toastie at 10.30, lunch at 12 ish and another snack at 3.30 it helped sometimes. I also spoke to my dr and they gave me a Pramin to take when I couldnt get it under control. Hope that helps

I had a similar sort of pain with both of my pregnancies and am having it now, which makes me wonder if I may be pregnant again (too early to do test). I had it starting at about 12 weeks with baby 2 and at about 20 weeks with baby 1. It was a stretching, burning pain that got worse as the day went on. It made me crazy. I wore one of those maternity belts for a while, which helped the pain, but it also made me crazy. I think it was a muscle thing - I am small (110 pounds and 5'5' when not pregnant), and I had relatively big babies. I occasionally applied light heat to the site, being careful not to overheat myself and the babies. That was a great relief, but only helped when I was doing it. The good news is that once the babies were out of me, the pain was instantly gone (until now...uh oh!).

Discomfort:Not sure if this is related to gas pains or growing pains or whatever, but terrible `stretching` pain in my stomach, like it's being stretched from the inside out. Unbelievable, considering the back pain, breast pain and sinus pain I've already got going on.

Discomfort:I get this soreness on my right side just above the belly button, at first it was just an uncomfortable feeling but now that i'm 35 wks it is starting to get painful, also feels like the baby stays on that side...sometimes i can feel her and my stomach is hard just in that spot, doctor says could be streching on the ligaments, this is my 3rd child and I have never experienced this has anyone else????

To the woman who has the pain on the right side above belly button. I have a bicornuate uterus, which is a condition were the uterus doesn't form corectly. It is shaped like a heart instead of a pear. I am 26 weeks pregnant, and my little boy is confined to the right side, because of the seperation. I get a stabbing pain in that same spot. I also feel like a hard lump on the right side when I get a braxton hicks contraction. I just thought your symptoms sound alot like mine. Doctors don't always see the uterus malformation. So it is something to look into.

I'm not sure if I'm pregnant or not but for the past two days I would eat and feel nauseated right after. I cant even eat a muffin with out feeling like I need to throw up. I took two pg test and both negative but i think its too early. I need help figuring out why I'm getting sick.Help please!!!

Discomfort:I started with these itchy bumps on my stomach and then it moved to my back, lower legs behind my knees and my arms near my arm pits..I've gone to the doct but they seem to think its an out break from something...I'm sick of itching, it wakes me up sometimes.
Treatment or advice:I've been taking Benedryl and cala dryl clear lotion to stop the itching but it's not helping.

Discomfort:week 7.this is the week my sickness started and now im 17 weeks 1 days pregnant and im still being sick alot. I often feel cramps in my upper tummy, but have gone to hospital and they said that its nothing to do with the pregnancy because the pain is so high up
Treatment or advice:if evrything is ok after a scan then dont worry too much about it

I have had alot of pains in the top of my belly.. and it sometimes takes my breath away.. i also realized i burp alot.. but when them pains come i dont want to move and just lay there in a certain stop so it doesnt hurt as bad!

Discomfort:Yesterday I made a sudden movement and I feel as though I may have pulled something. Ever since that incident, I have not been able to comfortably twist my body either left or right in the torso area without experiencing pain in my upper stomach area. It hurts about 2 inches below the diaphram.

Discomfort:i just went into the hospital for blood in my urine they thought a kidney stone or infection the kept me and ran fluids trying to fluch out a stone it never came but the blood dissapeared but now i have this constant almost nausiating pain throughout my entire stomch and im worried about the baby i have ate tums tried milk but i cant get it to go away i have had no morning sickness so i dont think its related to that do you think it could be from all the antibiotics they put into me?

I am in my 28th wk and have started noticing a sharp pain in my upper stomach area, maybe the top if my uterus? Or feels like it could be lower part of my lungs and rib cage. It got so bad tonight and I tensed up to where I bagan to cry abit. I couldn't help it. Each breath I took made it hurt worse.Had to takeshort shallow breaths to ease to pain, felt like I could hardly move. Anyone know what this is?
