I spoke to the OB and she said to take a EPT every week and if I don't see AF in 4 weeks to come in and get checked!

StacieT - 64.3 hours ago - Posted in Pregnancy > Ventriculomegaly
Small update. Nurse called and infection test was negative, and with 90% certainly baby has no chromosomal abnormalities. I asked her what else could cause this but she didn't know.

jory927 - The midwife that took my IUD out didn't say anything about it. I put a call in to my OB office to see what they say. Its driving me completely crazy!! I never thought I would say this but I am totally jealous of your AF!! LOL

jory927 - 65.1 hours ago - Posted in Trying-to-conceive > -General::Trying-to-conceive
@williamsonbabies that stinks!! Is that something the doctor told you to expect? I would be so frustrated! AF showed her face last night so I'm back to counting down the days till she leaves so I can start all over again!

Still no signs of AF here!! It is driving me crazing not knowing where I am at in my cycle and wondering how long it will take for AF to make a return!!

I have done a little more research on 4th vent enlargement as it is more uncommon. I have found some studies that show it to be benign in early scans. I'm curious to find out what your MRI shows.

turtlemom - 255.3 hours ago - Posted in Pregnancy > Ventriculomegaly
sunnyoutlook, you are correct on the measurements for lateral ventricles. If they are at or around 10mm, there is a wonderful prognosis. But, mummy4812 described the 4th vent as enlarged. That is a completely different story.

turtlemom - 255.3 hours ago - Posted in Pregnancy > Ventriculomegaly
mummy4812, are you positive it was only the 4th ventricle that was enlarged? Are the lateral vents not enlarged at all? If this is the case, I would recommend getting a MRI. That is a more unusual case. It is a very large measurement for a ...
