$49.92/£24.96 per month!! yeah right haha... ive been given most of my baby things but surely he'l cost more than that!! maybe things are more expensive in the UK......

mandys-mommy - 2 days ago.
i got 523.00! which is great. i already have 1 girl she is 4 and i have a few things from her. my friend gave me her swing, bouncer, breastpump-twice used-baby clothes, a stroller and carseat set. i feel really blessed. i am also going to bf for hopefully 9 months i don't know if i can handle any longer than that. and i do love shopping at Once Upon A Child Consignment store. its such a great store.

sky - 6 days ago.
The cost estimate I received was about $350 per month.. and that is w/o child care.. w/child care I am looking at over $1,000... but I dont know where they got the product prices from... all of our items were much more expensive.

moomami - 6 days ago.
wow....$1,950.00 in the first yr and $162.50 a month...dam imma b broke...but its not as bad as i thought actually

strackbaby - 7 days ago.
I just have to say, shopping at Gabriel Brothers saved me a fortune! I got an adorable bedding set for $20, a mobile for $6, sheets for $2. The list goes on and on. You can still get name brand at the discount retailers! Happy shopping mummies!

Ema uk - 8 days ago.
$516.00 a year.. that's about £255.00.. i already spent £70 on 1 toy..haha..but then again i'm breastfeeding and he's 9 months already so that's saved me alot..i haven't bought him any clothes(well a couple of shoes and tops..everything else is hand me downs) i got given a crib, moses basket, clothes, carseat, pushchair, stroller, play mats, swing chair, toys, infact i've been really really lucky..and i'm keeping it all for the next one..so yeah..not bad..

*aleisha* - 13 days ago.
$698.92 holy cow. She is all worth it though! I dont thinkI spend that much a month on her, but I guess if we take everything we bought over the last year and divide it might be that much. Babies are expensive but all worth it!!!!!

preggosauras - 14 days ago.
Ummm... Really almost $500 a month? We are counting all the big stuff only once right? Ow my pockects hurt already.

cutiedeedee28 - 15 days ago.
oh man $125 a month!! Thats like what i pay for one of my jackets. I think I need to do a little bit better on my bargaining. lol

marinac - 15 days ago.
$83.92 Not bad.. but I'm sure not accurate. I have tons of stuff already too since I'm having my second child now.

tiffyW - 18 days ago.
I am not too blown away by the total cost :) I was expecting something truly outrageous...

pregnantdebs - 19 days ago.
lol i wish i could get that stuff for that price lol where the hell can you get a car seat for 39 dollars lol im in the uk and theres no way you can get a car seat for that price or a crib for that price lol infact non of the items on this is the right price here at all lol oh well i guess its just a bit of fun lol

Jaimie - 19 days ago.
I've been very lucky to get lots of nice hand-me downs. My mom's friend had a boy about 9 months ago and I've gotten almost everything I need from her. Just gotta stock up on diapers and wipes and I plan on making my own baby food with our food processer.

raspberry - 21 days ago.
this calculator is cute, but i dont know how accurate it is... i dont know about anyone else, but my sons pack of diapers (hes 1 now) last usually close to two weeks, not 1. and his wipes last at LEAST 2 weeks, not 1 pack per week for sure. i use glass bottles and wont be replacing the bottles, only the nipples... inaccurate for my situation, but interesting none the less

Kaylaaa - 21 days ago.
hahah mine came to 331.5 per month. Luckily the only things left to get are the crib and stroller. All the big spending is done My total cost was $3978

amylouise - 22 days ago.
haha mine included toilet paper~~!!

MIchele-in-SLC - 22 days ago.
$235 a month? I think that's a bargain. We spend more than that a month on wine.

AmandaBaker - 28 days ago.
This thing is so freaking wrong it say's I'll be paying $2107.00 wtf ever. I already have 3 kid's and yes I bought everything for my 1st baby but my last 2 babie's used what theire big brother had now im having my last baby she or he is gonna be doing the same except for the swing im gonna get a new swing and baby Lotion that last all year long at my house bassinet my mother in law got it I still have some size 2 diaper's along with premiee diaper's so this thing don't even add up right it suck's

Bri - 28 days ago.
This calculator is wrong. Even though it asks about childcare it isn't adding right. It says my cost per month is $1130.67, except that my childcare is $300 a WEEK! That makes it $1200 a month plus diapers, wipes, baby food, clothes, etc. Obviously way over the $1100 mark.

Bangel - 28 days ago.
I got $1861, but I will have a baby shower and many friends are offering hand me downs. So that number should go way down. It doesn't seem as bad as I imagined; hope this thing is calculating right! :)

aniyahsmom2008 - 33 days ago.
I must say, this is my first child, and I am overwhelmed at how much everything costs! But I did go into s 2nd hand store, and found a Calvin Klein outfit for 1.49!!! I was so excited! I most def will be going back and getting whatever it is that I can!!!

mandiful - 39 days ago.
The way I see it babies are only as expensive as you allow them to be. There are always ways to cut corners and things that can be sacrificed. Maybe I'm just blessed, but a lot of the things that I get are free, from friends and family and what I do buy, I buy sale, or at a 2nd hand store. You dont have to use disposable diaper either, I do, but so far all my children were potty trained by 1 1/2 so I cut money there too. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

mandiful - 39 days ago.
Well I'm a mommy veteran and still have a lot of baby stuff, so I saved a lot there. I love to go shopping at Good Will and places like that too. The first time I did this I got 415 or something, but it seemed off so I did it calculating if I buy low priced items and I got 774.00 and 64.50 a month not bad.

destinyz-own - 41 days ago.
i got $1423.00 with $118.58 a month. That's not to bad. I was expecting much more. But most of the things i checked off im hoping to receive at my baby shower. If i get the majority of these things we should be all set. Even if we don't we're still going to be just fine.

babiiluv - 42 days ago.
I get most of this stuff by a baby shower.. and I have a 2 year old son that the baby will be using some of his toys, lotions, shampoo, baby bath and if its a boy his baby clothes.
