Is it safe for me to have sex with my wife when she's going through this early stage pregnancy's pain in the Uterus? She told me it's as if everything in her is falling out of her.

kevana - 4 days ago.
SWEETS, thats normal, had it both times too, around 4 months after the birth. Only lasts around 1-2 months so dont worry. Pain having to unclog the shower drain all the time, I hate the sight of hair all slimey with soap scum...YUKKY!

Hi ROOSA and other ladies. I have a colourful history. Baby #1 was born by emergency c-section at 34 wks due to IUGR. Baby #2 was born sleeping at 19 wks as membranes ruptured firstly at 14 wks then again at 18 wks. Cause unknown, never diagnosed with IC. Baby #3 born 2 days overdue, was diagnosed at 20wks with IC during routine scan. Was rushed into theatre and had the stitch put in, and was put on strict bed rest for the next 10 wks then on light activities untill 34 wks. Stitch removed at 36 wks. Cerix didnt want to open when it finanly got the chance! I was so scared of loosing another baby, I didnt take any chances so I lay flat for the entire time and only got up to the bathroom! I have been told I will need the stitch in early next time. I am a bit anxious about getting pregnant again because of this. I had also been through IVF to concieve my last 2 babies just to add more anxiety to the already emotional rollercoaster! But here we are with a healthy 8yo and 7 mth baby boy who was 9lb 1oz, so the stitch worked to keep him in there all safe and sound till he was ready. We have to have faith and stay positive during this trying time 'as you think, so it is' visualise a tightly closed cervix and holding your term baby in your arms etc. Thats what kept me sane!! Glad I have found this chat room. Hope to get to know you ladies better over time.

HI All:) I don't know where to put this but I just had a baby 4 months ago and I started losing my hair!!! Is that normal? Has anyone else had that happen?

The most fantastic experience of my life, with obviously the best rewards ever. Had an epidural, waters were ruptured and labour began and went wonderfully well. I only needed 2 stitches, I never felt anything bad, never once wanted to stop or cry. I loved the whole experience, the epidural was BRILL, I couldnt even feel the epidural go in. I cant wait to have more children and deliver them in this natural process. It was wonderful and fantastic and I fully recommend this to anyone. My fear of having a vaginal delivery was terrifying - I even recieved councelling for it.... but OMG it was a brilliant thing and the best thing I have ever done, I am so so so proud of myself, Trust your midwife in the labour room, listen to her and work with her and you too will have the most wonderful experience of your life and like me be discharged the same day . I am 5ft exact, and gave birth to a lovely healthy 8lb 3oz boy - who they expected to be over 9lbs... it was amazing, he is so amazing and the light of my life.

LADIES I GOT MY BFP

mrsjdwilliams - 7 days ago.
Okay i need some advice ladies...i'm currently 28w1d today. This is our very first pregnancy and we're expecting a baby boy. Well at our 22w0d u/s lil man was measuring at 25weeks and weighting 1lb 3oz and just last monday 27w0d at our 2nd u/s he was still measuring big at 30 weeks and weighting 2lbs 13oz. Now i've been striving for a unmedicated natural birth BUT according to techs at his rate of growth he'll be more than 8lbs. I am a very very tiny girl just 105 lbs pre preg about 5'3 with no hips at all....in reality its absolutley impossible for a 8lb baby to pass through my lil hips. I haven't seen my OB yet since my following u/s but after the 1st one she said they don't move up due dates. Well its starting to sink in that if she still refuses to move up my due date and he doesn't come early on his own...its very likely i will have to have a induction or c-section. I absolutely do not want a c-section what so ever and as for the induction i've heard the pitocin or other meds they use can make the contractions more unbearable. Has anyone been through a similar situation like this or have any advice?

Hey Ladies, my hubby and I are TTC my LMP was June 14th I am so anxious to find out if we are expecting number 2! I can hardly wait to take a pregnancy test Im going crazy! But I know it will be the most accurate in a couple weeks or so. Congrats to all of those who recieved their BFP!! Baby dust to everyone!

Wow, mazariff - I wish I had a mother-in-law who cared enough to feel so involved. It is her grandchild. Don't you like that she considers him or her 'hers'? I'd like to take a second to vent about my MIL. She's in her mid 50's, lives 5 miles from us and I'm lucky if I see her once a month. We have a 10 month old son, and another baby on the way - I'm 26 weeks pregnant. It strikes me very odd how distant she is. She's got a 2 bedroom home, with not so much as one item in it for a baby. No play pen, no high chair, no toys, nothing. She's so hands off, it's rediculous. In fact, when she does say she is coming for a visit, she'll say 'I'll bring dinner' and it will be something she buys at the grocery store but expects me to prepare it, cook it, serve it and clean up after everyone. I don't get it. And I'm exhausted. Anyone else feel totally alone?

AF is due today still no sign, been feeling more naseous. my boobs are littler bigger also the areola a little darker noticed raised bumps they look like lil pimples has white dots also. took pregnancy test yestereday and it was a BFN. So not sure what to think.. Also been really moody

theresa - 8 days ago.
wantababygirl-Is your hubby opposed to getting tested? You have to me sympathetic to his feelings also. No man wants to be told that he is unable to perform. However, I dont feel the way you are going about it right as you have stated. Wont you please try one more attempt? I hate for you to continue on the path you are and create more problems. There may be nothing wrong you guys may just need a little bit of medical help . I think you will have more love for your hubby if you can conceive HIS child and not another mans. This may confuse your child in the long run.

Martina- I have the mirena...no side effects. No weight gain.....nothing. Just hardley ever a period. It didnt feel good though putting it in.

Martina26 - 10 days ago.

I am going to talk to my husband again this weekend and I guess if he keeps with the same 'stupid husband' logic I will let him know that a divorce is the only way to resolve the problem. I think no matter my choice it will end badly. Thank you ladies for your thoughts and have a good weekend.

wantababygirl - 12 days ago.
I don't know how else to explain it to him. We have been married for several years and just decided it was ok to start trying about a year and half ago really. I have had so many conversations with him it is unthinkable. I have even gone to his mother and told her that this was going to be what causes us to get a divorce and she spoke to him and he said the same thing to her- It will happen when it happens... I am just at my witts end with it...

wantababygirl - 12 days ago.
I have told my husband that I was desperate enough to have children with someone else and he laughed it off and said it will happen when it is suppose to, I know that what I am doing is very wrong and I love my husband in everyway. This is the only issue in our marriage and I don't know what else to do.

wantababygirl - 12 days ago.
I am new to the site but I have a question, I have been trying to have a baby for over a year now with no luck. My husband will not be tested to see if anything is wrong with him but I have and I am fine. So rather than continue this never ending battle I decided to talk to my best friend and he agreed to help me concieve and we won't say anything if it happens. My question is that I was suppose to ovulate on Monday and we did it on monday. What are the chances I am pregnant? Should I have done it on Sunday because of the traveling time for the sperm? I am so confused...

wait a sec, Leena you said that you stay away from your baby with the smoke but in your earlier post you said that you smoked all through your pregnancy. how can your baby get away from it when he is stuck in your body? for your child's sake I really hope that your family stops trying to beat the odds

kla2200 - 101 days ago.
Well then you obviously dont have a problem with taking a drag from a cigarette and blowing it directly into your infant's face, because that is essentially what you are doing by 'smoking a pack a day' while pregnant. Oh but it does not cause any harm to them, right? So why not just keep doing it, huh? You SHOULD be ashamed!
