Chocolate would be the first on my list :) Being able to cope to being a new mom is also about feeling happy inside and comfort things as the mom so things she will find bring her comfort to get through the next 36 hours :) monasaxs -

Hugs newdaddy ~ (()) sadly I lost my drive too ~ I never really got it back :( Think we've had sex 2 times since Hunter was born and very seldom since all 3. Although mine is the extreme for length of time I know there are many like me ~ best thing is to NOT take it personally it is VERY normal and hormonally driven. It has nothing to do with you ~ most get it back in a few months after birth. Most men that share think the loss is because of them and that is rarely the case. Be comforting and give lots of body rubs and massages and it if happens great if not know in time it will :) I found those that loose the drive do love the intamacy just not with the sex. It is hormonal and all should be fine not long after birth. Typical is 6-12 weeks after :) My dh used to rub my feet alot and rub my back and I loved it so much ~ I know it is hard, if you are willing to be flexible and she is feeling up to it there are other ways she can satisfy you if she is up to it :) Pls just know it isnt you and she doesnt mean to hurt you at all (()) Oh and I had all boys, lol ~ hey that would make a great poll :) Will put one up :) apilalas -

9 years ago when I was pregnant with my son, neither of us could get enough, but when I was pregnant with my daughter, hell no, I just lost all interest, she is 16mths now and we may have had it a total of 5 times...but she is one of those babies that exhaust the day lights out of me, hubby is the type not to help, so by time I am finished doing all the chores at night, I am in no mood..... just a thought to the daddies out their, if u want a bit, u gotta help....lol. tonysmommy -

NewDaddy- I had NO sex drive while pregnant with my son, the WHOLE time!! I tried, but it just didn't feel right, I felt weird about the whole thing. I'm not sure why, later on in the pregnancy, I felt like a walrus, and oh so unattractive! But, once I had our son, I went right back to normal. My doctor said a lot of it could be hormonal, but it could also be mental and emotional. Now, I have heard and I am not sure it is true, but I have heard an old wives tale that when pregnant with a boy, you don't have a sex drive and when pregnant with a girl, you can't get enough. I don't know if it is true or just coincidence, but I have known a few friends that this was true...That being said, just try to enjoy the time you have together alone, it will be over before you know it!! Back and foot rubs are GREAT ways to spend time together and maybe she will even rub your back!! Good luck! :D NewDaddy1221 -

My son is a little over 5 months and he has been eating rice cereal and some baby food. He weighs 22 pounds. How many oz should he get each day? Is there a particular schedule he should be on?? momentfrozenintime -

Oh, I just read his age. I suppose he isn't on solid foods yet haha. But I still think 36 oz. is more than enough for a 13 week old? But you can always call your doctor and ask. momentfrozenintime -

anotheryummymummy-- I had a lot of trouble with my son eating. If your son is on solid food yet, that may have something to do with it. If not, maybe he just isn't hungry. You can ask your doctor how much formula he should be eating in a day, and compare it to the amount he eats. My son just suddenly stopped eating so much formula, and I worried about it for so long, but then I just realized if he doesn't want it then I can't force him to eat it. He's not starving or dehydrated, and he eats when he wants to. I actually think 36 oz. in one day is the most doctors want babies to have, so if he is still taking in a lot, but not quite 36 oz. it should be ok. Right now, my almost 6 month old is taking 24 oz. or so of formula a day, but he also eats a bit of solid food. anotheryummymummy -

Hey....I was wondering if anyone reading this could offer me some advice. My son is 13 weeks old and is currently bottle fed.....I breastfed as much as I could for the first 8 weeks but it wasn't happening for us and my formula top ups got more and more until I was making next to nothing. At first my son was eating about 1000mls/36oz a day and was very happy with formula - he's a very long baby and our nurse wasn't surprised he was getting through this much. Now out of no-where he's developed an aversion to the bottle over the past few days! He bites at my breasts and arms.....both have equally non existent milk supply.....but really fusses before taking his bottle and is eating about 2/3 what he usually eats, and only eating that much in very small feeds throughout the day and night. Has anyone reading this been in the same situation and if so what did you do about it? I doubt very much he's about to starve to death and isn't dehydrated but he seems very unhappy when eating, and his father and I are sleep deprived! Any advice is much appreciated - just message my page!! Bri -

Depending on the person apple juice can stop you up. It does in my family. Prunes work wonders though. Another way is a little baby massage. Rub the tummy and help works things through. You can also pump the legs to get things moving. As a last resort you can stimulate the little bum but be very very careful. You don't want to damage anything. I'd try the massage and prunes first before. RobinG -

I personally prefer real fruit over juice ~ I added pears and prunes into my foods :) mommyxs3 -

Prunes do work! Before I started Colin on solid foods, he had to drink apple prune juice, which also works really well. We started with 1 oz. in the morning, 1 oz. at night. But prunes do work also if you have started solid foods. tarynnicole -

izzie - It can be weird but you said that you boss is a she. That's easier then a he. My boss's first grandchild was born six weeks before my son. She breastfed her babies and now had a breastfed grandson. It was just assumed that I would be pumping. It's less weird then you think it will be. Also, know you rights. Depending on the state you have the right to pump so it's not asking if you can it's telling them that you will. Good luck! izziebo -

luvmalilbaby24, I gave my son first fruits at age 4 months, as recommended by the doc. He was drinking 4oz every 3 hrs. but was showing interest while I was eating. We tried the spoon and it worked great.
