youngmum~ I believe we did have a chat forum, however the discussions became so heated and hurtful that it was removed permanatly. Sadly there are always those that thrive on discord and I don't believe it will be reopened.

I was just wondering if there was a chance of having a instant message forum for anyone who wants to chat.

I've been just diagnosed with varicose veins of the vulva. On your varicose vein section you talk of ones on the legs and hemroids but not of the vulva. It's very painful and before seeing my doctor I was looking everywhere on the Internet for information on it. It's not rare from the questions I've heard asked but there doesn't seem to be much talk of answers and solutions. If you could add to the varicose vein a section on the vulva I think it would help many of us out that are experiencing it. I think it needs to be talked about more so women aren't left wondering what the heck is going on down there.

I second nikkipearl's suggestion! That's how it used to be a long time ago; it would be awesome to have it that way again. :)

maybe when someone comments on one of the photos you post on the main photobook..it sends a linc to your profile page to let you know someone has commented on your picture..☺

In the poll section, when you are looking at polls on page 2 ect. is there a way you can make it so when you have voted on the poll it goes back to the page you are on, instead of back to page 1?!?

Hi Laura, How about a breastfeeding while pregnant forum? Unless you already have one and I just haven't discovered it yet. Lol

I had staples. They weren't bad. Actually they were removed within 24hours and I have a very fine scar as well. Actually you can't even see the scar unless I show were it was.

Speaking of c-sections, I would have loved throughout my recovery last time around and now my upcoming one if there was a forum on 'classic incision' c-sections. I am about to have my 2nd one and I would love to talk to other people who have had one. It is definitely NOT the same as a traditional c-section, so I think it would be very beneficial for us girls who go through them to have other people to talk to about it.

Hey Laura, I love this site but I was wondering if the C-section pic could be changed? Its pretty rare for obstetricians to use staples these days, especially if the woman says she would prefer stitches....before mine I had a look at that pic and it scared me unnecessarily.....no staples to be yanked out after the op, and just a fine line of a scar!

What happened to the chat room? That would be nice too

It'd be great to see a section on weaning a child from the binky/pacifier as this is a huge challenge for many parents. It'd be very helpful to share techniques and success stories with others :)

Hi Laura :) I know I asked this before, can the autism forum be changed to autism spectrum disorder since that it what it really is. Autism is only one part of the spectrum. Then add a blurb on it about the various placements ~ this is my recent post on a poll ~ 'My son has Autism Spectrum Disorder, There is autism (classic/severe autism ~ Rain Man), moderate autism, mild autism (has language delay) high functioning Aspergers (no language delay), PDD-NOS. Ret and others are also considered on the spectrum I believe too. My son has Mild Autism with Communication Language Delay ~ There are also many co morbids too that can be common along with ASD.' TX!!

Great idea mountainmama ~ I've been on many sites looking for an active site like this that is helpful and the only one I found was this ~ I would love to see it added to the autism forum!! http://www.asdfriendly.org/board/index.php?

in the section dealing with after baies are born, my son had pyloric stenosis, which i hear is quite common, it requires surgery to be fixed,i would love to have a section to that on here somewhere..i guess in birth defects??...or i dunno really what its under...??

it would also be great to have on the autism page links to other well known & reputable websites for parents to access the information easily ~~~ especially parents rights & diagnostic criteria....

i agree with RobinG that the autism forum should be changed to Autism Spectrum Disorders. RobinG is right on when saying that children living with ASD can range greatly in abilities and skill level. ASD includes autism, aspergers, pervasive development disorder, etc. ....a name change would make the forum more inclusive.

Hi Laura, first of all, I love this site and it's a great job you guys are doing keeping this site up..I have a request..I am having twins and in a recent scan, one of my babies has been diagnosed with mild renal pyelectasis ( dialation of kidneys).I tried to find some info on this site but could not find that topic. Can you please add this to the forums. It is not a birth defect but something that resolves on its own before birth or with a small surgery after birth. I would love to talk with other moms who may have heard about this and get real time info..thanks!
