My LO was exlusively breastfed the first 5.5 months, but I went back to work at 2 months and she hated every bottle we tried until we found the MAM bottle at 4 months... she loves them. They supposedly have to pull milk from it like they would the boob... they are really well priced too and easy to clean. love them! leah7107 -

Has anyone else had a problem with the measurements coming off the bottles? The printing on the playtex ventair I just bought came off in one day. Same thing happened to the Dex bottles I ordered. Such a pain...the only bottles this hasn't happened to are the Avent ones but they leak half the time. aplace4myhead -

Just wanted to say that I wanted to EBF... but cant cuz I have to work... so we wanted to use the Adiri Natural Nursers... Used those for my first son last year! He loved them! I loved them!!! So we got a set for this baby... he hates them!! He would rather have the boob than that bottle... He however likes the Avent bottles. Since he wouldnt take the Adiri, and needed to eat, we tried the Avent bottles... He seems to like those and gobbles milk down... We also got the Soothie bottles (as back up since Avent isnt cheap) and he will drink out of them, but more or less picks at it than actually eats... So this baby likes the Avent bottle, and still takes boob when I get home after work!! He hasnt had any problem going back and forth... 3girlmama -

I haven't seen anyone make mention of the bottles I use for my baby girl. They're made by a company called Adiri, I LOVE them. They look like and boob! Since my DD started off BF, taking this bottle was really easy and natural. They are soft all the way around... thay're so great. I would HIGHLY reccommned these bottles! :0) Heather12 -

dayzahnise, For my son until he held his own bottle I used glass because they were in the midst of having that problem with the bpa in the plastic. I loved Glass bottles. As he got older though we had to by the bpa free plastic becuase he wanted to hold them and the glass bottles were too hevy. We r TTC our second child and i plan on using glass again. lilli1317 -

Hi, we used, and are still using Tommy Tippee Closer to nature bottles. They are supposed to be similar to mummy's boob! lol! My boys went onto these bottles first time, and a nanny friend of mine recommended them. You can get formula dispensers for them too. :-) a2mber -

I was lucky..i did not have a fussy baby so i didnt have the hassle of finding the right bottle for her, but i started out using the Vent Air bottles, and they worked fine, but seemed to have too many parts to clean, so i tried using the playtex drop ins for convenience and i LOVED them. Its a hassle when you realize you are out of drop ins and have to pick them up at the store, but i bought target brand drop ins at a way cheaper price. This time around im going to try to breast feed again, so lets hope i get another fussy free kid ;) 13yearsapart -

We started with Avent cause that was what we heard was the best and our LO had colic, the avent bottles did NOTHING to help! we switched to the drop ins and the gas got way better and now the colic is gone! I really hate them cause they are a pain, but if they work then thats all that matters!! TwinklinBrwnEyes -

Dr. Browns bottles are a hassle to clean. I only use them to prevent colic. Can't wait to use just a regular ol' bottle. j-lynn -

my older sister for her first baby used the dr. brown bottles but she still got collic (which wasnt fun cause she lived with us at the time) this is my first baby and im really hoping to breast feed but if i cant (and when i have to start using formula) i want to be able to use the drop ins or the avent bottles. but i wont know until the baby gets here! dsday19 -

My son went thru A LOT of different bottles before he found a nipple he liked, I really wanted to use the playtex drop in ones so that is all i got for my baby shower. What a waste. He hated them. Next we tried the avent bottle but sure enough he refused them, we eventually came to the soothie bottle, the nipples are just like the pacifiers they hand out in most hospitals. He loved them and it was the only bottle he ever used. jsbailey -

I use Dr. Browns and LOVE the Playtex Dropins for gas! But that is just our baby. She is 5 1/2 weeks. But I have a friend that has a 4 1/2 month old and she hated the dropins and ended up giving me all of hers. MamaMeMe -

Our Lacatation Consultant suggested Avent bottles... she said they work well going between bottle and breast. We used them when our newborn was in the NICU 305M@M! -

my baby is 2 wks old & I bought a bottle for her the bottle brand is 'vent air advanced' by playtex it has a vent at the end of the bottle to allow trapped air to escape. Its a little on the pricey side for a bottle starting at $5 for the small bottles but i really like it and she seems to have less gas from it and its bpa free =D babybloo232 -
