i was sooo glad that i found this page. thanks to everyone for their advice and words of wisdom. i managed to deliver my baby without any pain relief so im very happy!! didnt think my labour would be any different on my 5th but it was really strange. anyways, thanks to everyone who helped me calm my nerves about labour. the house is full of noise and nappies but i love it!!!

shanonholtz - 692 days ago.
new here hi everyone i have a 9 year old daughter 8 year old son 5 year old daughter and baby boy due in may..love it..i just have a noisy house..lol

krzyk1174 - 693 days ago.
You'd think that it would be overwhelming but personally I feel that the more you have the easier it becomes (to adjust that is)! I'm sooo glad to see that there are other families out there that don't conform to 'society standards'! The more large families I see the more 'normal' I feel!

KatieA - 694 days ago.
i am always online too, pretty much daily so if any of u want to add me into their friends network so we can chat (or vent on a bad day) please feel free :)

KatieA - 694 days ago.
i havent found any of it hard going from 1-2 or 3-4 even tho they are all fairly close together. i find out in a few days if i am preggo with number 5!!! hahahaha i think that will b a challenge since my youngest is only 6 months old lol. but the way i look at it is, it may b a challenge and some days u may tear ur hair out with NOTHING going the way it should and every child running late but i wouldn't have it any other way!!! i love the chaos of it all :) i love the noise and i love tuck in time :)i am so proud to b a mum to 4 kids (and hopefully 5 soon :) )

Faith-star-x - 696 days ago.
Hi all, I havent found it hard going from 1-2-3-4 lol, Their age's are 10,9,6 & 17months and im 16weeks preggo, the older 3 love helping out with my youngest, it really is all about patience, we are not on a strict routine and im in no way organized but 17month old is always in bed by 7pm and the oldest 3 8pm on a school night, house isnt always tidy but it is clean and my kids are happy hehe, its defo worth it x

RESamantha - 697 days ago.
I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. I get to put them both in daycare for the last 2 months of my pregnancy and the first 6 months after baby. Which will make it easier on me:))) I just know that I am already crazy with my 2 girls... I just cant see myself being any crazier. lol

RobinG - 698 days ago.
I have three but for me it is fairly easy :) It was easier to go to 3 then it was two. with your 2nd you are learning to multitask but with a 3rd you've been there done that and usually the oldest is a big help with extra hands. but that said it really depends on the age of the kids and how many are in school. I had 2 in school when I had my 3rd and a nice age spread if they are close and or all home it is a bit harder. I know many with 3 kids, its pretty common near me :) Once the oldest is in school it gets easier :)

RESamantha - 698 days ago.
I am pregnant with my 3rd. I am so nervous to have 3. I here going from 2 to 3 is a huge jump. Any advice? I see you guys have more than 3 but most people stop at 2. I am not sure where to ask these questions.

KatieA - 699 days ago.
wow i am so glad to have found this page, it is wonderful in this day and age to see other families who WANT to have large families :) I am 25 and i have 4 children, 6, 5, 2 and 6 months. I also have 13 and 14 y'o step kids. my husband and i are planning on baby number 5 in a couple of years. we decided to give my body a bit of a break as my last pregnancy was difficult to say the least and lil man ended up arriving 7 weeks early (he is doing amazing by the way). i love being a mum so much, i really cannot see myself doing anything else other than raising a family, i believe i was born to do this. i am from a small family, youngest of 3, my mum was 1 of 3 but my grandma was youngest of 8. i love seeing big families, whether they be all same blood related, blended, half siblings, adopted or fostered...i love big families and i am so thrilled to have been capable of being in one! everytime i wake up to my children i thank the lord for a beautiful family and the blessings i have received.

Del its funny you say that, when it came to having my first midwife appointment (at 8weeks) it finally sunk in that YES i was pregnant and YES i was going to have to give birth, and i am very scared about it this time, my 4th was very painful and the 2nd longest labour, my 1st born was 15 & a half hrs my 4th was 11& ahalf hrs! and she had her hand up at the side of her face and it HURT i know thats unlikely to happen again but i think like you im worried oh having a very long & painful labour again xx

blessedagainwith10 - 709 days ago.
del79 - I understand your fears.. but it is very possible. I gave birth naturally to all 9 of my children (5 were home births) - no drugs or anything for any of them...Hope this helps you!! I did notice that when it came to delivering - even if it was my 5th, 6th, 7th - I was just as scared or more so to go through it again. I don't know why seeing as we did it before - Just to tell you your feelings are very normal. (FYI - my last birth took 2 hours). Good Luck and God Bless.

del79 - 709 days ago.
didnt know this page existed!! im 39 weeks pregnant with our 5th child and im desperately looking for other women who have had more than 5 because im really really scared of going into labour this time around. ive had vaginal births with all the others so i cant understand why im so scared of going into labour this time around. my back and my hips have never been so bad so i dont think thats helping any. are there any other women on here who have had 5 vaginal births in a row without being induced or anything? how quick was the labour? im really hoping for a quick birth, the last 3 were around 8 or 9 hours so im praying that this one will be faster!! sorry for the novel but its just sooo good to find this page!!!

Faith-star-x - 717 days ago.
We are a blended family, i had 3 children when me and my fiance got together but in the last 4 years he has been the most amazing dad the kids love him to pieces and chose by themselves to call him dad, he treats our daughter together no different to the older 3 its fantastic how i found a man like him and how he is blessed to have the love & trust of my children :)

Faith-star-x - 717 days ago.
Thankyou blessed, im from a biggish family on both sides and loved always having a sibling/cousin to play with, my kids are well behaved and help each other out and help round the house, i feel very blessed with what we have and am excited to welcome this new LO..im sorry to hear about your MC i hope your doing well xx

blessedagainwith10 - 717 days ago.
Congratulations Faith!! Having a large family may be difficult in the beginning but in the long run it is soooo worth it. My mom had 12 kids. You'll never regret it. I miscarried 2 weeks ago at 10 weeks. I'm already very blessed - so I appreciate all that I have. God only knows if another lil one is in my future...I've got 9 children and suffered 3 M/C in my lifetime.

Faith-star-x - 718 days ago.
Well we fall under this page lol im 26 and pregnant with my 5th child! i would love more but money and space will no longer stretch so this will be our last my older childrens ages are 10,9,6 & 16months x

blessedagainwith10 - 763 days ago.

blessedagainwith10 - 833 days ago.
Sooo bizarre!! But I still miss being pregnant. Not trying, but hoping to maybe have a go at it one last time... lol

alomah - 833 days ago.
Wow mommyagain9th, Your family is beautiful. I just checked out that family pic on your page. Because my childrens ages are so far and wide its quite often hard to get EVERYONE together for a full family pic but one day I will achieve it. Thank you for your prayers for my daughter. She is considering IVF but not REALLY sure about it. We pray persistently for the Lord to open her womb and grant her a family of her own.

blessedagainwith10 - 834 days ago.
fiveplusone: you'll do GREAT!! My sister has 5 boys and 1 girl. Soooo sorry to hear about your summer. I was the youngest of 12 kids. Therefore I never knew my grandparents at all..Life is sacred and God Bless your little one to be..he or she has a purpose in this world...and my parents we're absolutely wonderful as I'm sure you will be too.

blessedagainwith10 - 835 days ago.
Alomah: Ahhhh hope your daughter gets her wish real soon. I'll send prayers her way.....God willing it will happen. Hopes she's thrilled about your news anyway. It just shows how we have no control...
