Yikes I can't stop being bad. In the morning I have to have a bacon, egg and cheese bagel without the egg. It's horrible for me but I don't want anything to eat again until lunch and I feel satisfied. All I want to drink is Coke Splenda or Crannberry Juice. I've been able to cut down my dinner portions but thats usually only if I snack a lot before hand. And I'm finding that if I don't have my bagel sandwich in the morning I need to eat a lot of snacks and I ALWAYS feel on the verge of a low blood sugar attack. If I just eat veggies and dip, an hour later I'm shaking looking for a baked potato or a slice of toast. It's horrible. If I eat my bagel I don't snack much. BUT when I do snack I can't seem to make good choices, I just grab the junk food at the check out counter and after I'm done eating it I think, 'why the hell did you do that?!' It's awful, I guess you can say I'm waaay off the wagon

mama2LT - 42 days ago.
That's why I figured they made u wait 18 months yeah and I also heard u cannot be induced when u have a VBAC which is fine with me if it will be successful...I hear ya on the snacking though it's been hard but I'm doing it I'm gnna weigh myself this wkend to see where I'm at

frenchie23 - 42 days ago.
Oh wow!! That's so awesome for your SIL!!! Good for her :) I would have dyied without the epidural!!! (Of course not for real but it felt like it!) LOL! I hope your sis has a good experience too! They need 18appart to make sure that the c-section will hold during contractions... If you get prego too early, the scar might not be as strong and they make you have a repeat c-section.. And I believe we can't get induced cuz the contractions are much stronger, but I could be wrong...and Yes, money makes a big difference in our diet, eating heathy isn't cheap... When I was bfeeding I tried the similac protein drinks for prego&bfeeding mums, they're YUMMY!!!!! I might have to go get myself a few ;) but once again, they're not cheap... Its like $12-15 for 6 I think? But its still cheaper than eatin out cheap fast food for 6 meals... :p I think my main issue is snacking, we always have healthy 'main meals'... I been doing pretty good lately cuz I developped an adversion for chocolate (yay) and m/s have started so eatin isn't my fav thing to do lately :p

mama2LT - 42 days ago.
Frenchie oh yeah well we r a little more stable financially so the reason I wasn't healthy before was bc I didn't eat healthy cuz I couldn't afford it! But now I eat my turkey burgers, eggs turkey bacon, protein shakes to replace a meal I have a ton of food for myself :) so yeah and ur doc said they have to be 18 mos apart? Ok so if I get PG now they'll be 21 mos apart ugh I so felt like I was robbed of the birthing experience too I thought I was gnna be jealous of my SIL for having a vaginal birth she did it in less than 4 hrs with NO EPIDURAL but I was soooo proud of her and my sis is due in 2 wks and I hope the same for her and possibly myself... :) oh I do have a question.....why 18 months?? Ugh I so want a bby

frenchie23 - 43 days ago.
Supermama, I heard that kicks a$$!!!! That's awesome!!! Good for you! Mama2lt, I jogged for 2 months everymornings ( well, 4 days on, 1 day off ) and did light weights and ab exercise and only lost 6 pounds doing it, I got very discouraged, when I stopped, I lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks not thinking about it... I dunno if it was cuz I was putting too much stress on myself? I started doing light weight again and walking everyday just so I don't feel like a lazy couch potatoe and so I don't gain as much as my last pregnancy... :p. Eating healthy is a huge part of it... When I worked for LA wghtloss I didn't exercise at all ( walked to work between train&bus transfers, walked total about 40min/day ) and I lost about 35pounds in 3 months just eating right and smaller combos, more often... Yeah, I'm really hoping for Vbac!!! I'm only 5w3d right now... The birth of my DD was not a good experience when everything started going wrong and I felt like we got 'robbed' from the birth experience.... I wanted my bf to cut the cord and having her placed on my chest when she was born, breastfeed right away.... Oh well, I'm not discouraged, we will get our chance!!! :) my doc allows vbac if they're 18months appart and they will be 19months appart so I have the okay to try, I'm actually looking forward to it :p

mama2LT - 43 days ago.
Frenchie-I saw on ur profile ur planning on havin a VBAC I pray I can do the same w/ my 2nd

mama2LT - 43 days ago.

Yeah I gained after my son was born about 10 more pounds but ive lost almost 20 I dnt wanna gain as much as I did w my DS plus I wanna be healthy...good going supermama: hope it goes well I jog constantly and eat a whole lot healthier I used to eat out constantly and just be a couch potato lol plus now I feel healthier I want to get up in the morning and go go go.....I went from 229 and I just weighed and I'm 212 lbs in a month and a half :)

supermama801 - 43 days ago.

frenchie23 - 48 days ago.
Mama2lt, werent we in the weeklies together?? Your name looks very familiar ;-) my DD was born jan28th. You seem to be doing pretty good, you have lost more weight than I did and I gained more :-\ keep up the good work!!! I hope your stay in ttc is very short and you come join me in the weeklies soon!!! We got prego on our second month of ttc so the weight gain really didnt affect our ability to conceive ;-) ** sending tons of baby dust your way** xx

mama2LT - 49 days ago.
Hi lovely ladies I just found this forum and i had no idea it existed lol well my husband and I decided we wanted to TTC again but here's my situation...I love to eat lmao my pre pregnancy weight w/ my 1st was about 195 lbs which looked great on me cuz I'm a little tall I'm about 5'7 almost well I gained almost 50lbs w/ my son so that put me at like 245 lbs I think well I lost 30 in less than 2 wks breastfeeding my son but I didn't exercise or anything so my ending weight was 229.2 YIKES so since we wanna TTC I been dieting and exercising and I'm down to 214lbs in a month....not too bad ;) but I think I may ALREADY be pg cuz I wasn't keeping track and we BD'd alot around the time I was ovulating so I think that if I am pg this will be a good support group to stand by and just knowing other ppl r goin thru the same thing as me I won't gain another 50 all I want is about 20 so I'm fine either way if I am or not anyways I hope u all have a great Friday :) ttyl

frenchie23 - 50 days ago.
Heey ladies, I hope everyone is doing great <3 I'm pretty proud of myself tonight, I wanted a snack sooo bad, there's 2 bags of chips calling my name in the pantry! I want some so bad BUT I made myself some low sodium tomato soup instead and chugged a bunch of water :p .... I just had to share ;)

frenchie23 - 55 days ago.

Supermama, Kida, I hope to see you 2 in the weeklies soon <3 **sending tons of baby dust your way** and my resolution this year will be not to gain as much during this pregnancy them my last one ;) :p I will still be looking for support to not gain all this weight ;) I'll check in later! Xxx Merry chistmas& happy holidays!!!!!

babyca55*pink* - 56 days ago.
i'm sure it will happen for you soon.i've always been big and i've been pregnant 3 times this yr(2 early misscarriages as well as this pregnancy) and we caught first time after a little break with this one :) i don't want to put alot of extra weight on tho and i seem to be resisting most bad cravings so far.. mmm bacon bagels do sound good tho lol good luck frenchie xx

frenchie23 - 59 days ago.
We all worry when were pregnant ;) I was the biggest worry bug!!! I had such a great pregnancy, hardly any symptoms until baby started moving thats when I actually 'felt' pregnant... I was always worried I lost the baby or something :p I went to the L&D a few times to get monitored cuz I had a quiet girl in there :p I drank a ton of orange juice everyday to keep her moving! :p I'm sure there won't be any issues with your pregnancy and as long as your doctor is on top of things, you will be just great ;) were only on our 2nd cycle of ttc but since I breastfed for 10months, I think my hormones are still unbalanced... I'm pretty sure I didn't even ovulate this month but its okay, if by the end of January I'm not prego yet I'm gonna go see my doctor.... I'm just very disapointed because with DD we talked about havin a baby, 3 weeks later I found out I was prego, it was that easy..... Not this time around, but I blame it on my hormones, I can't wait to go back to normal!!!!! Maybe the weight I gained during pregnancy has a role to play with it too.... I gained waaaayyy too much! I will not listen to every single craving I have next time I'm prego!!! ( For a week or 2 straight, I had BLT bagels for breakfeast lunch and diner!!! :s ) hahaha and that's not counting the snacks in between... Next time I'm going to try to stick with ' what I feed my daughter diet' :p. Gonna go have my yogurt and fruit for breakfest right now;) sending belly rubs your way ;) xx

babyca55*pink* - 59 days ago.
thanx Frenchie. My hubby's not too bad with his eating.. he actually does most of the cooking at the min as i work late, its his portions i'm trying to tackle lol i'l be taking over most of the cooking duties when baby is born and i'm hoping that with full control the pounds will just drop off me haha i'l do my best anyway. Yes it our first and i'm super excited i just hope my weight doesn't cause any complications.. i know i'm just being paranoid.. if i was skinny i'd still probably worry lol Good look ttc.. how long have you been trying?? lots of baby dust coming your way x

frenchie23 - 59 days ago.
Babyca, it will definatly be a good motivation when you want to feed your child healthy stuff, we have to show a good example too right? ;) and its a lot easier when it comes to not just havin to feed urself ( and convince the hubby too! ) ( My bf will not eat healthy stuff, he's skinny and just won't do it!simple thing even like yogurt tastes too healthy for him!! He will eat veggies with a lot of butter and salt, I try not to put any on mine ) So having to do it for my daughter and I makes it a whole lot easier! I didn't know that pre eclampsia is more commun when overweight, good to know! It will give me more insentives to drop a few pounds as I'm ttc at the moment ;) but I'm sure we'll be fine... When I was prego with DD I found an article on dark chocolate helps with pre eclampsia :p maybe eat a few squares a week? :p hehe... So this is your first child? That's super exiting! I wish you a very healthy pregnancy!xx

babyca55*pink* - 59 days ago.
frenchie, i only asked about the pre eclamsia because i heard there is more risk if your over weight, but i have never had bp issues so i'm hoping all will be well. i too fully intend on preparing my child healthly home cooked meals when he or she is older, and i'm hoping that this will help me loose some weight, that and the daily chores of looking after a small child lol

frenchie23 - 59 days ago.
My new diet is what I feed my daughter now... :p I always give her healthy food and for me tend to snack on junk instead... I descided, let's just eat what I feed her!! At diner time we always eat the same thing but like for snack and breakfeast example I give her yogurt, fruit and 1/2 of my piece of toast... I eat eggs and cheese and usually bacon once a week but I'm gonna cut that out too... I realised last night when my BF ordered pizza I didn't want her to just eat a bunch of junk so I made her steamed carrots on the side and thought, hey, I should fill up on thoses too so I made me some and ended up eating more carrots then pizza :p since I always go out of my way to make her healthy nutritive snacks,( I guess its not out of my way since I enjoy doing this for her ) let's just make it easier and make myself the same thing!

frenchie23 - 59 days ago.
Does pre eclampsia has anything to do with weight? I didn't know, I gained 80pounds with my daughter :s but had a very healthy pregnancy, never had BP issues or anything....

babyca55*pink* - 62 days ago.
Hey ladies, i'm so glad there is a forum for us plus size ladies. i'm 32 and pregnant with my 1st baby. i'm 15 weeks and weigh 240lbs... i've not gained any xtra weight since being pregnant yet and as i'm relitavely healthy otherwise my only major concern is pre eclamsia.. have any of you ladies expierenced this??

frenchie23 - 62 days ago.
You're more then welcome to join jeniellezeidan ;) it must be hard to try to diet during pregnancy.... Your hormones and baby tell you to eat, and eat things sometimes that you shouldn't, but you can do it! Smaler portions and lots of healthy snack will help a lot!! :D have you always been a lil overweight? Or your babies contributed to it? :p

frenchie23 - 62 days ago.
Supermama, if you need support we'll be there! ;) The smaller portions are definatly the right idea to go with! Even if we do get prego, eating smaller meals more often will help not going over board! I didn't gain one pound for the first 4 1/2 month of my pregnancy cz since I was working at a weightloss center I didn't want to gain too much but as soon as I started to show, I didn't care anymore :s and yes, breakfeast is the most important meal of the day... Its proven that pples who skip breakfeast tend to crave carbs a lot more and end up munching more in the evening... And it also jumpstarts your metabolism and its important to keep it going all day! :) sending tons of baby dust your way**xx

With my 1st pregnancy I was 16 yrs old, 4ft 11inches and 95 lbs, wore a size 2 and after I had him wore I size 6 , During my 2nd pregnancy I was 135 lbs, size 10/11 and after having him I wore a 12. Now I'm 27 yrs. old between 170-175lbs size 15-16 and is worried that gaining anymore weight if and when I happen to get pregnant with #3 This is the biggest I've ever been and I'm sick and tired of if. I don't feel attractive or anything.

supermama801 - 62 days ago.
I know this girl that loss 30lbs in 10weeks, by eating smaller portions, drinking fiber water/ Protein water, Absolutely NO whites, and cutting everything into 1/4. she added breakfast to start off with, I know that everyone has their own eating habits and I for one, will not eat breakfast in the morning. I'd love to be apart of your support group ladies.

supermama801 - 62 days ago.
Hi Ladies, I just now decided to join this page. I was thinking if I don't get a bfp soon, that I was going to start the new year on a diet plan. Includes smaller portion and 1 hours on the treadmill for beginners.
