Choosing Babies Sex Gender-prediction-fun

Choosing Babies Sex:Gender prediction fun

Go ahead-have some fun!

Gender Prediction Fun
There are lots of myths and tales regarding pregnancy. One of the most popular involves the myths regarding the sex of the unborn child. It can be lots of fun trying to determine what's behind that growing bump! Of course, the most accurate method for gender prediction is an ultrasound. The Face

*Many people say that an easy way to tell if a woman is having a boy or girl is to determine if she is more or less attractive. Supposedly, if she is less attractive she is having a boy. This is because of the hormonal mix between the two genders. *Other myths say that if a woman's face changes alot-wider nose, puffier face, texture of the hair, etc..-it is a girl. If it stays the same, she is having a boy. The Eye Of A Needle

*Supposedly, you can tell the gender of a baby by using a needle. For this method youwould take a needle hanging by a thread, take the hand of either a woman or man, and rub the thread up and down once or twice along the palm and dangle the needle abov the center of the palm. If the needle swings back and forth, it is a boy. If it moves in a circle, it is a girl. Wedding Band Trick

*Using a wedding band to predict the gender of an unborn child is very similar to the eye of the needle method. You just use a wedding band instead of a needle. Cravings

*Many myths suggest that a woman can tell whether she is having a boy or a girl by what she is craving. If a woman is craving spicy or salty foods, then she should plan for a boy. If you crave sweeter foods, you should plan for pink!

How You Carry

*How you carry is a popular gender prediction myth. Old wives tales say that if you carry low, you are having a boy. If you carry high, you should expect a girl. In reality, this depends on your uterine tone, muscle tone and the position of the baby. Heart Rate

*Among the theories of gender prediction, if the fetal heart rate is over 140, the baby will be a girl. If the heart rate is under 140, it's a boy. Fetal Activity

*Although all babies move at different paces in utero, it is said that boys will be more active than girls. Morning Sickness

*Many myths say that women who are carrying boys do not have as much morning sickness in the first trimester as those that are expecting girls. Draino Test

*The draino gender test should be performed after the 4 month of pregnancy. This test must be performed outside in a glass / jar that holds can hold twice as much urine as you use as there is a bubbling, smelly, and caustic chemical reaction when you add your urine to the crystal drano. Do NOT do this indoors-the smell is awful!

You will need:
  • Approximately 2 tablespoons of CRYSTAL Drano
  • Medium glass or glass jar. It is best to just throw the mixing glass away after performing this test.
  • Two to Three ounces of urine, preferably the first morning urine.
Take the test materials outside.
Add your urine to the glass jar with the crystal drano in it.
There will be a rapid chemical reaction and it is best to stay well away from the glass jar while the fumes are being produced.
When the reaction stops, observe the color of the test.

If the mixture darkens to a brownish color within the first 10 seconds - It is a boy.
If there is no darkening or color change after 10 - 15 seconds - It is a girl.

Just wanted to update on the intelligender test I took that said girl and now know 100% it's a girl. Hummmmm....

2babys-under2 - 51 days ago.
I did intelligender with both of my pregnancies. It said BOY both times. I have a son, so it was right the 1st time. But I'm pregnant with a girl this time, so it was wrong. It's still fun though

titangoddess - 51 days ago.
I also got the Intelligender test and it said girl. I dont know how they can say easy to read results becuase they really are not easy to read. I tried to read it with a flashlight becuase it was so hard to tell the difference. I do not reccomend this test at all but if you want to have a little fun then it is fun. I dont know how reliable it is and like I said it is SO hard to tell the results!

momie2two - 52 days ago.
i had to go out and buy the intelligender test i know its not 100% but it said im having a BOY hopefully its right my 20month is a girl so it would be nice either way ill love it no matter what =)

Read this on another website: Try this ring test, especially if you know what you are having! Okay so this test will tell you the sex of the kids you have if you have them, AND if you are pg it will tell you what you are going to have. Try it and tell me if its right! I did this with my last two pregnancys and it was right 1. Get a necklace with a charm or a ring on it. 2. Hold the top of the necklace with your right hold, and hold your left hand open palm facing up toward you. 3. In the space between your thumb and pointer finger, move the necklace up and down three times. 4. Immediately after you bring it up the third time move it over your palm. It will start moving and showing you in order the sex of the children you have, it will slow down between children then start going again. Circle: boy back and forth: girl So for me it goes in a circle, slows down, goes in another circle slows down, goes back and forth, slows down, goes back and forth again then stops. whats crazy, is we were trying this on men and it wont even move over there palm! Let me know if its right about the kids you have! And it supposedly counts abortions and miscarriages. So every pregnancy if you have been pregnant before.

all the gender things were wrong for me, except the morning sickness myth, i was SO SO sick. but everyone swore i was having a boy, even though i had ultrasounds to prove otherwise.

babyluv843 - 80 days ago.
I bought the gender prediction test at 16 weeks. I think I got it at CVS (drugstore) anyways it said I was having a boy and I am! lol its a fun thing to try!

tiffyy - 125 days ago.
can you do teh draino earlier? i mean i would find out about teh gender by 4 months through an ultrasound

alison33 - 155 days ago.
I did the draino test with my daughter and it was right. I have to tell you though, the fumes are toxic, I did mine indoors and ran like mad outside with it. LOL Noone told me to do it outdoors.

2babys-under2 - 155 days ago.
With my son, his heartrate was always 160-170 bpm and I craved sweets all the time. This time I'm having a girl, her heartrate is 140-150 bpm and I'm craving salty things, like crunchy bacon. I had the same amount of morning sickness with both pregnancies too. So all of the wives tales were backwards for me. I did intelligender both times and it said boy for both pregnancies. It was obviously right with my son and wrong with this pregnancy. lol But I did carry low with my son and I'm carrying high with my daughter.

mamagarces - 178 days ago.
with all four of my previous pregnancies the heartrate was accurate, all my girls were over 150 and my son was 135. also, i sort of 'just knew' what i was having. this time around, i don't have that feeling. the heartrate at my last appointment was 154-160, when i did the wedding ring test - it said boy, and the chinese gender chart says boy, and last night i had the same dream over and over, a total of 6 times, that my husband and i went for our 18 wk ultrasound, and we found out we are having a boy.... i can't wait, 5 more weeks and i will know my baby's gender.... and then i can go shopping!!!! :)

chrissy-511 - 216 days ago.
Face (puffier), heart rate, fetal activity, morning sickness, & Draino test all said i was having a girl. They were wrong! It's a BOY!!! The only one that was right was the cravings. I don't care for sweets at all. I didn't try the other ones...

on-number-3 - 252 days ago.
I am pregnant with my 3rd child....I am 13 weeks.. I know I did the chinese chart and with my first two it said the oppisite...with this one it says I am having a boy so maybe it's a girl ......I don't know

2babys-under2 - 253 days ago.
I just found out that walgreens is selling the intelligender tests in their stores now. They're only $35 and I wouldn't totally trust the results because I've heard it was wrong for some people. But I did it with my first pregnancy and it was right. I guess it's mostly for fun. You have to be 11 weeks preggo though. What do you ladies think? Would you try the intelligender?

bethk - 294 days ago.
I dont wana scare u but my mother was told 11 times she was having a girl (she had to have a lot of scans an each one they would say yup its a girl!! But turned out it was a boy! My grandfather thinks she squeezed the balls out of him with her driving hehe. But she bought everything in pink (clothes etc..) So was bit of a shock when my likl bro came out! So never be 100% when they say its a girl! If its a boy its defo a boy as theres no mistaken that lil winky hehe xx

christy2469 - 327 days ago.
Okay so me and the husband have heard every myth tonight possible to predict the sex of the baby...But the one that confuses us is the needle/wedding band test..... We used a needle first and it swayed back and forth then circular....So we tried my old wedding band and got the same result.... Even with the new set of bands... So what does this mean... Boy first then girl or does it mean twins??? It never stopped just kept on moving....

aprilraine - 359 days ago.
So yesterday at work a woman came in who I have met before and she has the gift of being able to tell what sex your unborn baby is by feeling your belly (she can tell male from female energy she said). She has never been wrong and has predicted over 50 different babies sexes. She did this for a few of my friends and was right each time. She told me I am having a boy, and he will be a hellion and he will be dark (I am native) I have been swaying towards a girl, and still kindof am, but I go for my ultrasound on the 1st so we will see then!!

mommy-jazz15 - 367 days ago.
the things that worked 4 me- face, cravings, how i carry, fetal activity, morning sickness, but i didnt even try those other ones... but im having a baby boy!! yay!!

Joscelyn - 367 days ago.
I am having a boy and the only one that was correct on this was the draino. And trust me, with all of my firsnds he draino worked every time

renata25 - 375 days ago.
The chinese chart said I am having a girl, my husband and I were sure we were having a boy but we are having A GIRL! :)
