An amazing transformation will be occuring over the next nine months!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It takes approximately 260 days for your baby to completely form and develop from the date of conception to the date of birth. Your baby will start out as a microscopic zygote and grow into a 7-8 pound (on average) human being! You are carrying a miracle inside of you. While every pregnancy is unique, most women will experience many of the same symptoms, feelings and concerns at some point during their pregnancy. Here you can talk about anything related to pregnancy.

I am 38 weeks pregnet, I had my mucus membrane stripping done and have been having contractions on and off. I am 2 1/2 cm dilated and 40 % effacted. This is so fustrating going to the L&D and they tell me im not in active labor. Can anyone give me insight if the stripping will cause me to go into active labor?

not everyone gets morning sickness, some ppl get it the entire pregnancy, everybody is different. if your not getting morning sickness count yourself lucky

healingheart - 9 days ago.
I have the same issue from what I was told my numbers range from 5-7wks...but I have no signs other then sore bb and some belching all the time and I am yawning all the time...but no morning sickness everywhere I read this is not a good sign I just want the worry to go away...I am on prometruim I feel like the signs I do have is from the meds and not the baby

Bri - 10 days ago.
I got the seasonal shot back in September but I also am in my third trimester. I want the H1N1 but everywhere is sold out. I am registered with my hospital to get it as soon as more arrive. My 2 yr old got his seasonal shot in October and I want to get his H1N1 as well as soon as his ped gets it. I don't know when that will be but we are on a waiting list for that too.

brendita76 - 11 days ago.
Hello everyone, I'm new in this web and I been reading all this and I love it. I have a question: I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I would like to know if somebody has any kind of shots, like H1N1 or Flu, I'm kind of nervous about the flu this year and I don't know if it is to early to get it

lacey r - 12 days ago.
Should I be showing at 5 months

Bri - 12 days ago.
prego81 - Don't be worried. Plenty of people lose weight in the beginning too. I didn't start packing on the pounds in the second half. Think of it this way, depending on your weight ahead of time you only want to gain 25-35lbs the whole pregnancy. At least that is what books and such say. But as of 20wks your baby is about a pound. So, your baby has a lot of growing to do, plus there is the fluids and such. So far really the weight that you have gained is maternal fats and a little bit of fluids. And,if you lost weight in the beginning then you know all of it should be fluids and such. HAHA! Think of yourself as lucky. Less to lose afterwards.
