Dani-Girl - 507 days ago.
I think I am pregnant and haven't bought my self to buy a test yet... i had 3 miscarriages last year and went through all the test and they found nothing wrong, they took me off my birth control to do more test and put me on prenatal vitamins to get my body ready we were released from the doctor to start TTC but the condom broke and now i am a week late, which i always have a very regular period... I need advice, I am scared and want to know if anyone had multiple miscarriages and had a healthy baby or is having a healthy pregnancy....

Suddenlyalone - 507 days ago.
Tomsnana I agree with ladyjade you should ask your doctor if you can see him more often. I had a miscarriage a year age now every pane or movement scares me. I got a stethoscope at 19 weeks you can hear the baby’s heart. A good friend of mine got a Fetal Doppler Monitor to ease her mind.

LadyJade - 507 days ago.
Hey Tomsnana.....the only advice I can give you s to not worry about what may happen when you have no control over it , I know, easier said than done!...Just make a special effort to relax whenever you can and trust that all will go well and baby will stay put for the entire duration....I know a few women do bleed while pregnant and it is nothing to be concerned about...of course you should take up all and any concerns you have with your Dr and perhaps ask him to see you more regularly just to put your mind at rest..Good luck and congrats on the baby..:)

tomsnana - 508 days ago.
Hello, I am new to this site. I am currently 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I am a nervous wreck. I had bleeding a few weeks ago twice both times i rushed to the doctors and was told i was fine. The second time being last week where i got to see the heart beat at 7 weeks 2 days it was beating at 126bpm and the baby was 10 mm. However i cant stop fearing the worst being that i had a miscarriage at 5 weeks back in April. I was hoping someone could give me some advice on ways to relax and not be so stressed or scared every time i go to the bathroom fearing the worst. I guess its just hard because the only pregnancy symptoms i have are being tired and sore boobs.

Any advice to give an expecting father in the delivery room?

SgtsWife2011 - 511 days ago.
A bit TMI but having the urge to poop, is that normal? Like when I wake up in the mornings I feel like I HAVE to go (but I've always been like this).

cdoyle80 - 511 days ago.
chocolate-mommy....i have two family members that had successful vbac's. one was even a high risk pregnancy, but she went into labor on her own before her scheduled c-section. so they let her just go. not a single problem either. i'm in the same boat, having to decide. from what i understand, you have a higher chance of a successful vbac if you go into labor naturally. however, if you are induced, then you have a higher chance of another c-section. also, keep in mind that a lot of times you only hear the negative side of things. for example, you'll probably read tons of stories of complications and bad outcomes to vbacs. but think of how many of them go right.........those stories just aren't shared as much. same thing with carpet cleaning. cosmetic surgery. airplane flights. you'll hear more negative than positive. but don't let it cloud your decision making. good luck.

So I recently found out I am anemic and I'm 30 weeks pregnant. The doctor said my iron is so low they recommend that I do Venofer which is an iron infusion. I am supposed to do one of three tomorrow. Has anyone ever done this? I'm so nervous!! I have been reading online about all the side effects (which I know I shouldn't freak myself out) but I'm really scared. I have had 2 miscarriages in the past and I'm so nervous to put anything in my body since I don't know what it will do to the baby...someone gimme advice. =)

Proudmomof4 - 514 days ago.
Chocolate-mommy: I understand where you are coming from. I have had a previous c-section with my son yet my doctor wont even allow a v-back. From what I have heard and some stories I have read I dont think it would be worth the risk. Just my thought on it, there is some type of risk percentage and it's not worth it in the long run. I would say go with another c section.

ok..question. I found out about 4 weeks ago that i was pregnant, said i was 4 weeks. I had my last period starting 7/24/10, i had a d&c on 07/28/10. My first dr appt was today and they are trying to tell me that i am 12 weeks. That means i was pregnant while i had the d&c, which i'm pretty sure didnt' happen. everytime i check how far i am by using my lmp it says about 8 weeks and my due date is 4/30/11. the dr says my due date is 04/30/11 but i'm 12 weeks..i'm so confused..any ideas?

mommykeisha- thank you, I didn't believe the test at first so I waited a few hours and took the other one, I don't feel pregnant yet. I had a feeling something was up when AF didn't show up on Friday. Figured I'd take a test and see a negative when the clear blue said PREGNANT I was a rack of emotions.

mommykeisha - 516 days ago.

SgtsWife2011 - 516 days ago.
So ladies, I just found out I'm pregnant on Saturday. I took 2 digital tests and both said pregnant I mean I believed the first one but I had to reassure me. This is my first and I am so nervous. I am going to get it confirmed tomorrow and I'm really nervous. I don't know why I mean my period is 2 days late and the tests said pregnant. Ugh so many emotions already.

Mandylynn01 - 516 days ago.

I'm 24w5d pregnant with my 2nd child..another girl! I am so excited because I didn't think I could have more babies. My oldest is 10 and she is the best kid ever..I'm not just saying that because she's mine! I got to have a free prenatal massage last night and she came in to the class room with me. Everyone commented on how well behaved she was! Made a mama proud! I am from Lexington, Ky..and I'm on facebook too (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pint1)! Add me if you're in the area! It would be awesome to connect with other mommies to be in my area!

chikinjeans: Its fine, i have the same problem with gaining weight when im pregnant...im 28 weeks..and really when i first got pregnant i was underweight..and they said i needed to gain atleast 35 lbs..but i have told my doc that even before i got pregnant i had a hard time with gaining weight period..and the only time i would ever gain weight was during my menstrual cycle..n then going back to normal...but since ive gotten pregnant ive only gained 2-3 lbs every month which is better than nothing..ive eaten everything and anything to gain weight..but its just my body that takes it..and as long as your eating healthy..you shouldnt have anythin to worry about is what my doc said..but make sure you take your vitamins and eat healthy and eat foods that have a lot of calories and protein and im sure you will gain a couple of pounds if you have a problem like i do with gaining weight during pregnancy.

emibaby - 520 days ago.

mumoffour - 521 days ago.
chocolate-with my last 3 kids everytime hubby and i got into it the same thing happened,my dr said it was perfectly normal, she suggested that we slowed a little and took our time :) sometimes it seemed to help, sometimes not .I don't know if that helps at all ?just remember that your little peanut is pretty well tucked in there, and have fun with hubby, soon your time together will be VERY limited ;)

dominique23 - 521 days ago.
chocolate-mommy- it sounds like a contraction. Some people feel BH contractions at 20 weeks or sooner.
