An amazing transformation will be occuring over the next nine months!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It takes approximately 260 days for your baby to completely form and develop from the date of conception to the date of birth. Your baby will start out as a microscopic zygote and grow into a 7-8 pound (on average) human being! You are carrying a miracle inside of you. While every pregnancy is unique, most women will experience many of the same symptoms, feelings and concerns at some point during their pregnancy. Here you can talk about anything related to pregnancy.

Eloises-mummy!--Are you taking any meds? A lot of the pain relief meds, even the over the counter stuff, will make your pee bright orange. Just a thought. if your not taking any meds, I would definitely call the doc. Good luck!

Eloises-mummy! - 28 days ago.
hey i just posted this post in the UTI section but i just wondered if any of you could help?! i know this is going to sounds really dumb, but say if you have a uti and blood in your urine as in obvious blood , but its only a spot or two then it doesnt come back but your unrine has seemed to of turned orange, i was just wondering if the blood can mix with the unrine and change its colour. Sounds stupid i know but i have been pretty poorly this week which bought on contractions. ive been going to the toilet alot more and i was vomiting and having really bad back ache. Im calling the doctor on monday to get checked out as i know its pretty common. i was just a little worried that when i wiped the toilet paper was soaked in orange, liquid and i wasnt aware that unrine could be orange. Very strong yellow yes but this is deff orange. Cheers. x

OMG it is so crazy! I mean I enjoyed spicy goods every now and then but it is all I want if it is not spicy I either get sick or feeling like I am going to... I wasnt hungry till I found that I wanted spicy foods so this is going to be the only way for me to gain weight right now. I lost 10 lbs in one month.... =( I was not happy about that!

fallenangel32 - 30 days ago.
Good Luck to all you ladies. I am so happy for you REDHEADEDMOMMA!! I have a question after me and the BF BD I bleed a little; light pink -- It is when I go to the bathroom and wipe then it stops that isnt something I should worry about right?

Hey guys, How are all you pregnant ladies doing? I’m about seven weeks now and the morning sickness is really kicking my butt! I always hear that this is easier the second time around…WRONG! Anyhow, I hope everyone else is coping ok. I also wanted to alert you guys of some stuff I found. Since maternity clothes, pillows, pumps, etc. etc. etc. are always too expensive; try over here. I use the body pillow when I’m pregnant and it lessens the amount of aches I wake up with. Plus these items are free, so that helps when we’re already spending money on baby items. I also included my blog which has articles written by yours truly and some offers.  I’ll talk to everyone soon! Take care! www.freebeautyoffer.blogspot.com http://www.healthbeautyncs.com/rd_p?p=192109&t=9530&a=24972-c562&gift=24972 Cindy

Well ladies I did it I got my H1N1 vaccine and I feel absolutely just fine. I spent all afternoon talking to several docs and nurses and they all reccommended that I get it! So I did!

Bri - 33 days ago.
shoveland - Wow, that is a hard situation. Ok, so the conception date is based on the size of the embryo and some grow faster or slower then others. So, it could be from either man. I can tell you the pre-cum does have sperm in it. It's scary but you can get pregnant without actually have intercourse. When we were 17 I have a friend that was virgin. She was fooling around with her boyfriend. His parts got very close to hers but they never actually had sex. Well, several weeks later she found out she was pregnant. She was literally a pregnant virgin. He of course denied the baby and they broke up. Turn out he was the father and yes she still had an intacked hymen. Since he did ejacuate in the condem before going at it again the sperm count was probably lower. Of course it only takes one to impregnant you. But, looking at the odds, it's probably your husband's baby. You know what you did was wrong but it's now time to fix it. Find out why you cheated and then tell your husband. It's better he finds out now and you deal with the issues then after and find out baby isn't his. I would be pissed if I were a guy and my wife cheated but didn't tell me and got pregnant. If I thought I was having a baby and then it turns out not to be mine then it would be even more heartbreaking. Of course it's your choice. If you just can't bring yourself to do that maybe after baby is born you can get the other guy to do a test with you. If it's negative then you can just move on since you know it was hubby's baby. But, that is kind of the cowardly way out. Any way you go is going to be hard. There will be tears and probably lots of fighting. Just be careful and watch your body. You don't want to over stress yourself and baby.

Hi Ladies! Well I am pregnant! I have a situation on my hand's that I am not happy about and it's killin me every day! Maybe you can help me understand more! My last day of my first AF was Aug 1. It lasted until Aug 5th or 6th can't remeber which one for sure! Anyways.... I made a horrible mistake. I slept with another man on Aug 14th and the first time we used protection. He went in the bathroom threw it away washed up and came back into the room. Then about a hour later we started fooling around again and he put it in me without a condom for litterlay a min! I told him to stop and he was no were near ejaculation so he pulled out and he finished in his hand! On Aug 16th I was with my husband. We never use protection ever! I was also with my husband on the 6th and so on that week with no condom. Well the doctors keep tellin me I concived on the 15th of Aug and I was with no one on the 15th. I kust really want someone to help me on this situation and what you think? I know what I did was waaaayyy wrong and I am so stressed about it! I need help!

ariel1 - 34 days ago.
good to know thanks ladies, i will ask my ob at my apt in 3 weeks. I already got the seasonal flu vaccine but the swine flu vaccine is so wishywashy. My husband is a med student and the docs with him said don't get it but public health care workers are promoting it, can't wait to hear what my ob says. I know it takes 2 months for the vaccine to be effective. Which is another concern it might be here and gone by the time i can get it.

nhcutie - 34 days ago.
I cant wait for friday!!! We have our first U/S and Im so excited! The main reason for the U/S is not only to date the pregnancy because I know Im almost 6 weeks but my Midwife just wants to make sure but also..She thinks I might be having TWINS!!! I almost fell off the exam table she said those words 'You might be having twins' So waiting until friday is going to drive me nuts..Just plain nuts I tell ya lol..Good luck ladies and I will keep you updated ;)

mybabyismyheart - 34 days ago.
Hey Ariel1 and all! My OB's been stressing for me to get the H1N1 vaccine as well ladies, and I think it;s something I'm going to do as soon as they are available. I actually haven't gotten the flu-vac either, and usually don't but a parent at my Preschool just spent 1 week in the hospital over the flu so I just made myself in appointment to get that taken cared off, because I simply can not risk putting my baby in danger given the fact that I work in a high-risk environment.

xXxEXPLOxXx - 34 days ago.
My doctor hasn't mentioned Swine Flu vaccine to me. I'm 30-weeks pregnant, if that matters. Lol. If anything, we both don't care much for it. He says normal flu usually kills this many people --difference is, healthy youngsters are succuming, which is worrisome, but we both think it got hyped up, and that it's pointless to worry. I will be discussing the vaccine further with my doctor at my 32-week appointment, but my initial instict is 'just say no!' Lol.

nic4charles - 35 days ago.
ariel1--My ob is pushing the shot, but not till your 14 weeks. I am 9 1/2 now. However, my 3 y/o ped. says he isn't getting it for himself or his son, and this is not the first doc. that says they are not getting for their family. The fact is that they just began testing on pregnant women last month, so they really have no clue what it does to the fetus. Getting h1n1 is risky too, so it's a personal decision everyone has to make. Me personally, I think I'll pass.

shawty2010 - 35 days ago.
hii i just wanted to say ive just got over having swine flu and i wasnt given the vaccine both my daughters had it too so we were all very ill but we are fine now

ariel1 - 35 days ago.
Question for all you ladies out there. What have all of your OBs said about getting the swine flu vaccine, are they saying yes it's a must, or saying you should wait until you are so far along? I have mixed emotions about it and don't want to chance harming my baby. I want to know what all your docs have said! Thanks!

GBMom - 35 days ago.
dobbydidit - from what I've read, headaches can be a normal thing during pregnancy due to hormones. Do some research online or ask your doctor and I'm sure you're fine. I get them now and then too. Good luck!

dobbydidit - 35 days ago.
hi,have been getting a few headace the last couple of days!!!should i be worried or is it normal?am 11wks.

kristenNjosh2010 - 36 days ago.
Hey everyone I just started this site and I am 13 weeks pregnant....I've only had one worry so far and that was in my 11 weeks I had influenza A. they told me to just assume its the swine flu....my temp got up to 102.6....I'm so scared for my baby..any words of encouragement?

lachlansmilkbar - 36 days ago.
Hi everyone, I am 8 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby and I have been spotting very lightly twice in two days. I have no associated pain but I am so worried as I had a text book pregnancy last time (no complecations). My dr says that it can be common for this to happen in early pregnancy. Any advice would be appreciated. xoxox

Hello Everyone! I have a question for anyone who wants to answer. I was pregnant over the summer and I lost my baby at 8 weeks. It was unplanned but it made me and my fiance realize how bad we want one. The problem is my fiance says he dont want me to get pregnant again because I became just nasty (as in mean) and I couldnt control my hornmones. Which is the truth and I knew I couldnt control them and it upset me more. Did anyone else have these issues??? Is there anything I can take to control my hormones? Just curious.

nhcutie - 37 days ago.
Thanks Mommieto2plus1 I spoke with a diiferent nurse this moring and she said it was more than likely that it had to do with the fact that im pregnant and not to worry. Alot of pregnant woman have weird labs sometimes...doesnt always mean theres a problem..PHEW thank GOD!!! Although I did have a different question.and anyone can answer this if they know the answer.. My midwife did a pelvic exam and found that my uterus is very enlarged and said that if she didnt already know how far along I was she would have guessed 9 weeks..I asked here if there was a chance that there might be more than one baby and she said that was a great possibility..EKKK TWINS or more OMG She order me an ultrasound STAT..LOL so next friday Oct 23rd we'll see..So my question is,is does anyone know why this is going on? Or the cause of this enlarged uterus?

Mommieto2plus1 - 38 days ago.
nhcutie--- an elevated wbc count is a sign of infection... maybe the beginning of a uti? probably something little like that...and if your nurse wasn't concerned about it i wouldn't be either!
