An amazing transformation will be occuring over the next nine months!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It takes approximately 260 days for your baby to completely form and develop from the date of conception to the date of birth. Your baby will start out as a microscopic zygote and grow into a 7-8 pound (on average) human being! You are carrying a miracle inside of you. While every pregnancy is unique, most women will experience many of the same symptoms, feelings and concerns at some point during their pregnancy. Here you can talk about anything related to pregnancy.

Bri- Thanks, I thought about that too but I am not one to do that until all my other resources are exhausted. I actually have a great job, the only downfall right now is it doesn't offer insurance. I would love for my husband to change jobs but I'm not sure if I see that happening! Unfortunately, every insurance I have applied for they still consider it pre-existing and told me they won't cover. I found one that will but the coverage is terrible! Hopefully I will find something soon, thanks for your help and congrats to you too!

Bri - 53 days ago.
Schmalz23 - I'm not usually one to say this...but... you can always apply for government help. I had a friend on Colorado government help and her whole pregnancy and delivery was covered. She paid less then I did for my first and I have good insurance. Another option is to see if you can find a job with insurance. Pregnancy used to fall into the category of a previous condition but not anymore. If you change jobs with insurance then your pregnancy can be covered. I would see about government help and while doing that see if you can change jobs or Hubby can. With government insurance you may not be able to choose your doctor but they aren't 'bad' doctors either. Congrats on the pregnancy, especially if you didn't think you could get pregnant. It's your little miracle baby!

nadiajennings - 53 days ago.
Im probably worrying about nothing but i would really like some advice, i am 6 weeks & 2 days pregnant and i havent had any sickness yet, not even felt sick (i had sickness with both previous pregnancies) i remember reading some thing when i was pregnant with my daughter that no sickness can be a sign that the pregnancy has stopped developing, im trying not to let this worry me but its hard not too!!! can anyone give me any advice on this?? it would be much appreciated!!!! xxx

salemgirlygirl - 54 days ago.
I am starting my 13th week of pregnancy after having 6 previous losses. So far, the Dr. can't be happier. I am starting to feel nervous as this is uncharted territory for me. I am starting to feel better also, and was using my morning sickness as a crutch to tell myself everything was alright. Just wondering who else out there might be due in Apr. 2010. I should add that we have seen and heard the heartbeat...which I know is a good sign. :)

kerryx0lee - 55 days ago.

Hey everyone!! Just wondering what you guys thought..I took some u/s pics at work..we were playing with the machine, and I think this baby is a boy!! The pics are on my profile...see what you girls think. I am 19 weeks. to help with orientation, the two long things on the left are legs the big round thing on the right is the belly..the first pic is kinda a side shot and the second was kinda looking right on at the baby..the pics are from the waist down so to speak

manda-may - 59 days ago.
Misssophie... Yes, that happened to me. 15 days after we had sex without protection, I did a preg test with a faint positive result... and we now have twin boys! Congratulations, it sounds like you might be pregnant!!! Go to the doctors just to get it all confirmed maybe with a blood test. Good luck and all the best!

anl23 - 61 days ago.
OK!! HELP!! Now I'm really confused. I was spotting for like half a day and then that quit. AF is not supposed to be due for another 5-7 days. Then this morning I wake up and AF was here...so I thought. I was only heavy for about an hour. Now I'm just back to spotting. AF is always normal and always at the same time. What is this?!

IndyMomof2 - 62 days ago.
Hey all. I need some advice. I have two kids. One 4 and littlest is 15 months. I'm trying to decide if I should take a pregnancy test or if I just have stomach flu lol What do you all think? I've been irritable to the point of genuinely angry with no idea why. I've been nauseated and vomiting a little for about 4 days now. I am exhausted all the time. But I'm on Nuvaring, and not due for the next period till this week.

anl23 - 62 days ago.
So I'm kind of worried and confused. When I concieved last time I had no idea and no symptoms until I was 6 weeks. AF is not supposed to be for another 5-7 days. Around 3:00 this morning I was spotting a light pink discharge. Around 10:00 this morning when I woke up the spotting had stopped. Tonight I began to spot a little more, but now it has stopped again. I was reading on the internet and they said I could be pregnant again. I'm not really sure though. What do you think?

leah7107 - 62 days ago.
im looking for fun ways to announce pregnancy, that arent typical.

2babys-under2 - 63 days ago.
I did intelligender with both pregnancies and got a BOY result both times. It was right with my 1st and wrong with my 2nd. So I'd say it's a pretty 50/50 thing lol but it's still fun : )

Bri - 63 days ago.
moonbird - Stress is not good for baby or you. I would see about dealing with your anger issues. I don't think miscarriage is something that you really need to worry about unless it's excessive. I've never heard of stress causing a miscarriage but also they happen all the time and who knows if it is related. But, what I do know, is babies born to depressed and stressed moms do have a tendancy to have problems gaining weight in the first six weeks. This doesn't mean that a random act of depression or stress will cause this but those that are constantly worrying and upset for six weeks or more may have this problem. Baby can sense you and it's best to be calm while pregnant. I've had plenty of stress in both this pregnancy and my last one. I understand that it's not something I like so I've found outlets. Please try to find an outlet that isn't fighting with Hubby.

moonbird - 63 days ago.
hi ladies, i was just looking for some advice, i heard if you stress out over something you can miscarry is this really easy to do? I have some anger problems and got into a fight with my husband and got incredibly mad and was screaming at him and throwing things across the room link but now im having little aches here and there, do you think i'll miscarry? i really really hope not :(

sky85 - 63 days ago.
