Advice please!!!! Are there any moms out there that have taken ambien during past pregnancies? One Dr. tells me it is safe, another tells me it is not and now I just wanna know from someone who has taken it and delivered their baby. I am a nurse so I am fairly educated on the drug and it's class, but it just seems to be such a grey area that i wanna know from a momma that has been there done that! Thanks for any help, hope everyone is well.

kinda wondering: when i was PG w/my daughter (12 yrs ago) i do not remember being SO HUNGRY. i am eating about every 2 hours, urinating about the same and seems like i am taking many deep breaths...all wondering if TWINS is a possibility according to my symptoms. Too many thoughts racing through my mind.

bananamoonpi - 343 days ago.
thank u wends123 :0) we have told the most of the immediate family and a few close friends but wanting to see my OBGYN before we start making other arrangements

Wends123 - 343 days ago.
bananamoonpi - I would wait until after 12 weeks.. but that's just me... I know that it's sssooooo difficult because we get so excited!! Baby dust to you.. x

bananamoonpi - 343 days ago.
verified I am PG (estimated at 9 wks) if not, could be only 5 wks; waiting to go to my OBGYN and have them confirm everything else. been looking at all the baby stuff online...bottles, toy, beds, car seats....afraid it is too early to look although i cannot keep my mind off of it. was always told that it was best to wait till after the 1st trimester before one starts planning and buying. what y'all think?

Oct2011 - 344 days ago.
liza08- that could of been ur mucous plug, they say its brown or dark red but mine was very very light pink, and the amount was about the size of a quarter...at the time i didnt know it was it, but the next morning i went into labour and 7 hrs later rylan was here..lol i slept thru most of my early labour contractions but at 7am the time i woke up they were already 2 mins apart, checked into the hosp nd i was already 6 cms..it just felt like bad menstrual cramps

acgvoinche@yahoo.com - 344 days ago.
heading to the doctor to verify i am PG; then have to contact my OBGYN to set up exam; oh how the fun of exams begin, lol.

liza08 - 345 days ago.
OK, so I am kinda freaking out over here. I wil be 38 weeks tomorrow, and when I first woke up this AM and went to bathroom I had bright red streaks of blood when I wiped. I've read about the whole mucus plug- but it seems everone says its brownish or yellowish (darker red), and what I experienced is completly dry red streaks. I've gone 2 additional times and again, very dry a streaks still appear on TP. What could this be? I called L&D and they told me as long as its not alot- to where I need a pad I should be ok. This is my first pregnancy so idk if I have contractions. I feel baby get real tight and I have shortness of breath, but Idk what real contractions feel like. Ugh, please help!

oh cinderella...I feel for you! You're right - your partner does NOT understand. He cannot possibly understand what you're going through. I always tell my husband that if it were up to men to carry and birth babies, we would die out very quickly! You are not the only one who feels that way. With my son, I delivered at 37 weeks and I couldn't imagine going any further than that. I was so ready to not be pregnant anymore. It is very emotional and exhausting. This time around, I'm already feeling that like! I'm only 22 weeks and I was bitching to my husband last night about how much I don't like being pregnant. I was like, I do not understand when women say how much they love being pregnant. I already don't sleep. I'm up all night peeing. My pelvic region hurts so bad in the evening that I can barely move. I can't have a glass of wine to relax and I was just recently put on pelvic rest due to placenta previa so no sex or orgasms or exercise for me. This will be my last pregnancy! I love what comes from it, obviously, my beautiful babies. But I don't care for pregnancy. So don't feel alone. You will be done soon, I promise. Try not get induced though. I know it can be tempting if your doctor allows it, but unless its absolutely medically necessary - DONT do it. It can lead to all sorts of unwanted interventions and complications! Good luck with everything =)

cinderella*~** - I haven't given birth yet but I know 2 of my friends had very hard days before birth. Just like u said, they wanted to have their babies out right away, cuz it was hurting a lot. When you feel unsecure you should call your doctor/midwife if you can, for some advice..

bananamoonpi - 347 days ago.

hey ladies, so now just over 36 weeks pregnant and i feel like im about to explode, i feel like no-one understands me, im so emotional :( i feel like my partner does not understand! i get no sleep at night and the cramps in my calf muscles are so bad, im trying to drink as much water as possible but it doesnt seem to help. i really want this baby to come, i dont know what to do, does anyone else feel like this? i feel like im struggling, and these next few weeks feel like they will go forever, i dont know if i can handle it. everything hurts and so exhausted. please tell me other mums to be feel like this in the last few weeks? i feel selfish about how bad i want him out when i know he will come when he is good and ready.

I think I might be pregnant, but my husband and I really cannot afford this child in addition to our almost three-year-old daughter. This is also bad timing in our marriage, however, this may be my last chance to have another baby (I'm 38). I am on the pill, but recently took antibiotics (the doctor said it would be fine - not so sure now!) and now every morning my lower back hurts and I feel crampy. Does anyone know how to break the news or have advice? My husband is going to be angry about this, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

hi! dont know if any of you can help me out?? i took a test today and it came back positive...but im confused because my bloodwork from 3 weeks ago said no. is there anyway it could be a false positive? or am i just crazy and need to learn to relax and just be thankful?!?

satucker - 353 days ago.
Hello! Just found out I am about 4 1/2 weeks along with number 2! Such exciting news, but I'm slightly stressed. My sister is getting married 15 days before my due date!!! She has already picked the bridesmaid dresses, and I don't want to ruin her wedding being as big as the church! I know it will all work out, but talk about bad timing, we have been trying for almost a year, happened at eleven months of TTC!

To Therese (TCoveney) - Congrats, I see you won the car. You must be ecstatic?

To supermum86 - Sorry to hear about your loss.

francois@health2u.co.za - 355 days ago.
When Rosemarie, my wife was pregnant, she also ate a lot, 'giving in' to the cravings. She gained a lot while pregnant, and lost more again afterward. When it comes to eating, the golden rule is to make sure you get the nutrients you need. Eating balanced, use supplements and listen to your cravings. Throwing exercise in, makes things just easier.

nurse25 - 355 days ago.
ESON - My eating habits are bad too!!! I cant stop eating lol I think we are normal, i hope so! Some cant eat at all due to sickness so i guess we are lucky! Im 9 weeks 1 day today xxxx

esonawethu - 355 days ago.
Hey.I am 9 weeks pregnent and my eating habits are very bad.I don't really eat junk but I eat a lot of food and my stumach is constipated. Is it normal to eat a lot of food during this period?

francois@health2u.co.za - 358 days ago.
Saying Hi My name is Francois and I'm a proud husband and dad. I recently joined this forum to share what we learned during Rosemarie's pregnancy. I'm a natural health enthusiast. Rosemarie had some issues (moring sickness, post natal depression etc) but we searched for anf found natural solutions for these. I'm grateful that things turned out well for us - Mary-Ann (our little girl) is extremely healthy and a perfect bundle of joy. Now it's time to share. See you around.
