An amazing transformation will be occuring over the next nine months!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It takes approximately 260 days for your baby to completely form and develop from the date of conception to the date of birth. Your baby will start out as a microscopic zygote and grow into a 7-8 pound (on average) human being! You are carrying a miracle inside of you. While every pregnancy is unique, most women will experience many of the same symptoms, feelings and concerns at some point during their pregnancy. Here you can talk about anything related to pregnancy.

RasmusGal - 93 days ago.
I just found out im pregnant 2 days ago, its my first. Because my periods are irregular the doctor told me i have to wait for the midwife to come before i can find out how far gone i am.=) cant wait to find out.

kirarus - 94 days ago.
During the first 9 weeks of pregnancy I went from a 36C to a 38DD. I no longer wear my regular bras. I only wear sports bras now. To make things worse, my areolas are getting larger also! Normally, the dameter of my areola is larger than my index finger. Now the surrounding area (about half the size of my index) is getting darker! By the end of this pregnancy my areola may cover half of my breast!

Shellie77 - 94 days ago.
Hehe I remember the 2nd trimester. It was so scary at first because I was feeling SO good! There is such a small chance that something is wrong, that you should relax and enjoy it!

skittle - 94 days ago.
I am worried a lot too. I am 13 weeks and will be 14 weeks friday and i have had 2 babies already and know what to look forward to. but at the same time every pregnancy is different. So I don't know if he or she is doing alrite inside. I like want to hear a heartbeat non- stop and maybe that will make me feel better. I'm early in pregnancy rite now and already want it to be over so i can hold and cuddle with my baby.

Bri - 95 days ago.
kchia80 - I know it's hard not worry. I worry all the time. HAHA! But, once you move into the 2nd trimester many women stop having the pregnant feeling. You are probably not as sick as you once were and your energy level is coming back. On top of that you aren't really showing yet. All those things adding up can make a mom to be worry. But, if you haven't had any bleeding and your doctor has been happy with the heartbeat and your size so far you don't have much to worry about. I'm sure you and baby are doing just fine! Have fun at your scan. It's an awesome experience to see new life in you. I just had my level 2 on Monday and loved it then too. This is my second and it still gets me every time I see baby.

kchia80 - 95 days ago.
Sorry guys panicing again! I don't have my 13 week scan until next week but I am so scared that baby is not ok - does anyone know how likely it is to miscarry after hearing heart beat at 11 weeks and not having bleeding? I just don't feel pregnant anymore!

rockyd - 95 days ago.
thanks Bri

Shellie77 - 95 days ago.
sednique - it's very common to have menstrual like cramping early on. It's your uterus stretching and expanding to make room for baby! Check the week by week pages for other women in your week as well!

Bri - 95 days ago.
rockyd - Under disorders and such there is a section for clubbed foot. I wonder if there are any stories there that might be able to help. I don't know anyone with it. Sorry.

rockyd - 95 days ago.
Hello, I was told my baby boy may have a clubfoot on ultrasound. Has anyone had any experience with a baby with clubfoot and was it ever corrected. Thanks.

sednique009 - 95 days ago.
I have a question for those who can help.since i've found out i was pregnant i have occasional groin cramps.i'm 7 weeks and i still have them when move around or walk.is that normal?

Bri - 96 days ago.
Llamakeeper - Call your doctor. If you aren't keeping anything down then it's not good for you or baby. Granted Baby can live off of your stores but your doctor can help. I lost over 10lbs this pregnancy because I was so darn sick. Well, my doctor got me on Zofran (well the generic version) and Holy Cow! I started to feel much better within a day. They don't prescribe it just because but they also don't want you dehydrated and ending up in the hospital because you can stand up straight. When I went in to have blood work up at 9weeks or so I almost fainted in the lab. It was awful. I hadn't had any food in my stomach for over 24hours. They couldn't get enough blood and I was sweating. My arm went numb, I was dizzy and crying uncontrolablly. It was a funny sight but a bit scary at the time. Please ask your doctor and maybe there's something she can do for you. You don't have to suffer.

Bri - 96 days ago.
Beautiful Bre - It really depends on the doctor and how your pregnany has been progressing. With my son my doctor didn't check me until 38weeks. I was also having a standard pregnancy and she had no thoughts of me delivering early, she was right. If you've had any worries your doctor may start checking you soon but if not it may be longer. You can always ask?

Shellie77 - 96 days ago.
Bre - my Dr office said they start at 35 weeks.

Llamakeeper - 96 days ago.
Hi everyone. I am new to this site. I am 7 weeks pregnant and sick as a dog. I can't keep anything down at all. :s This is the first child for my husband and I and we are extremely excited. I just wish this nausea would go away.

Beautiful Bre - 96 days ago.
ok well, i have a question. i will be 35 weeks in a couple days and this is my second pregnancy and i was just wondering when they start checking you to see if you are dialated and all.. my dr with my first pregnancy never checked me at all sooo i have no idea when to be expecting it

Shellie77 - 98 days ago.

cowen - 98 days ago.
im 20 weeks pregnant and due on the 2nd of jan is anyone around this stage so we can become friends and compare thanx x

amyan209 - 98 days ago.
Thank you for the comments about induction. They both helped me. The more people I've talked to, the more it seems like it's not such a scary thing and it doesn't always or even most of the time lead to c-sections. I appreciate the feedback!

rangie - 98 days ago.
hey everone im new to this site just want to say hi and ask im 32 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child with my first 2 they grew nice and big but this little girl seems small the midwife says im showing 27 weeks not 32 anyone have this and what does it mean

ibteesa39 - 98 days ago.
amyan209, I was induced once and my sister 3 times and all were natural births, I actually don't think anyone I know had a c section after being induced, but I am not a medical expert. Hope this helps..

desharron - 99 days ago.
There really wasn't an area for this question but..... I just found out I was prego 2 days ago. Have no idea how far along we are but my orgasm started hurting around 2 weeks ago. Did not have this problem with my first child but I've been searching for an answer for over a week now and now I think it's prego related. Has anyone had this problem????

Bri - 99 days ago.
amyan209 - I had severe PUPPS with my first son. We tried inducing for a week! I went in every other day for gel and then Saturday night I went in for pitocen. I was on 12 hours of max pit and it slowed contractions. I only got to 60% efaced with three doses of gel and pit. I only got to a finger tip dialated. Pretty much my body wasn't ready. Many times for a first child inductions just don't work. If you are already dialating and effacing then it might work. If you aren't like wasn't it probably won't. If I had known what I do now I would have waited for more gel and just kept waiting. I was in a lot of pain and on drugs for the PUPPS so I just couldn't think of waiting. The up side was a section ended up being our choice. They said I coudl go home and wait which I just couldn't see myself waiting OR have a section. I opted for the section to stop the pain. My doctor said it would probably be another two weeks if I let things go naturally. Considering my son was already almost 9lbs I think we probably did the right thing. A 10+lb baby doesn't sound too thrilling. Now with my second I want a VBAC and am willing to let my body go completely natural, even if I end up with stupid PUPPS again. HAHA! In your case I would wait and see. If it looks like your body is starting to progress then maybe talk again with your doctor. If it's not then really there isn't much you can do. I understand wanting Dad to be there but sometimes you can't help it.

amyan209 - 99 days ago.
Hey all I'm new to the website. I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my first baby. My dr and I have talked about scheduling me for an induction because my husband works out of state and I want to be sure that he's there with me the whole time. My dr seems pretty opposed to an induction but says he understands the circumstances. He says 35-50 % of the time when women are induced it leads to them needing a c-section. Does anyone have any experience or advice about this? I want to do the safest thing but really don't want to go to the hospital alone in labor and have my husband possibly miss the whole thing because he'll likely have to wait for a flight back home.
