Well I had a dream last night that I took a HPT and got a BFP and woke up this morning with really bad cramps. Still no AF but I have a feeling she's on her way.

@MistyVT ~ Thanks. I am keeping a very positive attitude but can't help thinking the worst at times. I will keep you ladies posted. The results should only take a couples days to come in. On another note, I had really bad cramps this morning and thought for sure AF was on her way but so far nothing. Usually, she's here within a few hours of the cramps. I'm so hoping after over 6 years of trying I can get a BFP that sticks. Prayers are definately a must. Thanks ladies.

Sparky - I just went through the same thing last month. My follow up appt is tomorrow. I had the ultrasound and the needle biopsy. I envisioned everything bad happening, but it turned out to be benign. I was told that most breast lumps are indeed benign. However, when we are dealing with them the statistics don't help much. I will pray for good results and a BFP to follow!!

I am on cycle day #26 and have no sign of AF yet. I had a breast ultrasound on Monday and found out that I need a biopsy done on the 27th. Please say a prayer that it's nothing and I get a BFP soon. Thanks Ladies.

@babydusted I wish I knew too. My last pregnancy I started exercising and believe that's when I lost my pregnancy, which took 5 weeks to come out on its own. I have also heard that women who exercise have a harder time with invitro implantation, so could it be also for normal implantation? I have exercise through 3 pregnancies and had no problems from it. When I am pregnant I try to modify my exercises so I'm not jumping too much, keep the jumping parts to lighter bouncing, and also we should not be doing abdominal exercises when pregnant. We should also not let our heart rate go above a certain level. They say you should be able to still maintain a conversation when exercising. I have never exercised when ttc, except this round and this is the first time I've ever had unexplained infertility. So I wonder? I have also read that if a person has low estrogen levels they should avoid exercise when ttc because exercising increases testosterone and decreases estrogen levels which could cause infertility. I am no expert, have a lot of questions myself but have read a lot. Hope someone else has better advice for you.

Just started working out with a personal trainer yesterday--I have plans to do 3 sessions per week for 30 minutes, because I am REALLY out of shape for me. I want to be healthy again, but some friends are concerned that I would start a work out program when we are trying to conceive starting next week. Since I'm not a fitness guru, can anyone tell me if there are risks to a moderate work out for pregnant women? Anything I should watch out for? Any increased risks or added benefits?

i am a type of person who views age is just a number, love to embrace getting older but after marriage, my dh like to remind me of my ticking clock, constantly...need to continuously find more effective ways to stay positive n optimistic..on my own..:)

I just had my birthday, in reality that means that I am now officially 42 and ttc, and the window gets a little narrower.

@fizzy, I would hate to not bd during pregnancy, I find it so much more enjoyable when I am pregnant. I think I'm not so dry or something.

@fizzy for me, the day I started exercising my pregnancy symptoms disappeared and I felt great, thought the exercise just made me feel better. Then after 5 weeks of feeling great had my m/c. Funny that I followed on the weeklies all through, then finally joined and 2 days later started bleeding. It's funny how looking back I can think my insides were telling me I wasn't pregnant long before I had my m/c. Even the last week, before I started spotting I told a co worker I was pregnant and I felt like I was lying.

@weber, me too. i started spotting after doing some exercise at home..emm..well, if we get bfp again, my dh said he will avoid bd for 1-2 months. he's more cautious than me..hehe..anyway, i think enjoying bd would increase the chances of bfp. worth a shot, i guess :)

I think I lost my baby when I started exercising last time. There's so many things I could point at that COULD have caused my m/c. Last month I toned down the exercise on the 2WW and nothing happened and I know I bd'd on the right day. This month my chart looks not too promising so trying to relax and not do anything different and just PLAN to get AF and maybe I'll get a surprise instead? If that doesn't work this month LOL next month maybe I'll stop exercising.

@Misty, thanks. can't wait to try again. wont bbt, wont do opk, i just want to take it easy. i wont even buy a hpt, lol! i guess for a newcomer like me, i simply do not know how my body cope with conception, so i dont blame my dh who is seriously over cautious (remind me to walk slowly now and then etc..hehe..).

Tossing baby dust to all Mommy's trying to get their BFP!!! Waiting just plain sucks...all aspects of it. I never did the BBT, but did use OPKs to determine the right time of the month. Know that it can happen...even though on some days it feels impossible. Exercise is totally fine and I've known women who are very physically active who conceived easily. The uterus cushions potential embryos and protects them from all the bouncing and bumping. However, on an honest note, I could see myself 'stopping' just for the odd chance that it may decrease my odds. (I tend to be an overthinker as well) haha

thx Weber, abt exercise, i guess it depends. for me, based on previous exp, i know it's not adviseable b/c once i stopped gym n too much walking, we got bfp.

Does anyone know if exercising in the 2WW could be detrimental?

officially in the 2WW now, even though by my temps this month it looks like there is not much hope.
