vi-chick (Yellow) - 179 days ago.
Just had some great news ladies!!! Got all of our genetic disorder testing results and we're in the clear! She said, in fact, that we are at a lower risk than normal for my age. I am SO relieved, I was pretty concerned there for awhile. We are now looking forward to our 18-20 week ultrasound, between Aug 29 - Sep 13. We are on team yellow tho, although I'm pretty sure it's another boy :0) Heartbeat on Friday was 140 and sounded great. I think my placenta may have moved to the front, or the baby's turned so that his back is out. I was feeling movements good and strong till about a week and a half ago. Now, not so much. So I'm looking forward to that ultrasound. It'll put my mind at ease as to why this LO was so active and not so much anymore.

vi-chick (Yellow) - 180 days ago.
shelly, you have lots of time! I had my first at 37. I'm 17 weeks pg with number 2 and will be 39 in October. My dr. had her last at 42. But we're done after this :0) 2 is plenty for our family.

kathy24 - 183 days ago.
deni-congrats on your pregnancy! I have a 19 y/o son in his first year of college and a 3 y/o son and I'm 24 weeks pregnant with a girl!!!

deni9271 - 185 days ago.
Hi !!! 1st time here, I am 39yo will be 40 in 2 weeks...i am pregnant with my 5th child and 7th pregnancy....i have a 20 yo girl in college, a 16 yo girl in high school, an 11yo boy who pass away when he was (I miss you Ayden)9, and now after a tubal reversal i have a 16 month old boy and am 21 weeks prego with another boy!!! So hello all, and good to meet you!!!

lil.pigz - 185 days ago.
sinnamongirl -You sound like me. I'm not even pg again yet, and already thinking 2 babies ahead:-)..45andpreggers and Babydusted- I am so sorry to hear about your losses♥ We are getting the same somber news in TTCAL forum lately, too.

kathy24 - 186 days ago.
Babydusted- I'm so sorry to hear your news, my thoughts and prayers are with you!!!

Babydusted - 186 days ago.
I'm afraid I'm out...I insisted on an u/s this morning because I just haven't felt right for about a week. It confirmed my fears. Full post is on my blog, but for now, very best wishes to all of you for continued health. Hope to see you all again in a few months.

45andpreggers - 188 days ago.
well i started 2nd AF since MC. Time to start trying again! Hope it happens quick & that I have a healthy pg this time!!! Congrats to all you ladies doing so well w/your lil peanuts. :)

sinnamongirl - 188 days ago.
Roseygirl and Asha- Congrats on your decision to try again. I will be 43 when this little boy arrives (I'm 27 weeks), and hubby and I are thinking we might try again right away. Everyone will think we're nuts!! I rarely post anymore, but so glad to see all the healthy pregnancies in here.

asha2 - 189 days ago.
roseygirl - Good luck. I hope it happens for you quickly. I'm also 43, and will be trying for number 2 very soon!

roseygirl - 190 days ago.
Hi all :) it has been a long time since I visited here, but will be on quite a bit I think. We are going to try for number 2 - yaaayyyy. At 43 I think I am crazy, but hey I think my little pixie girl would love a brother or sister! I can't believe that Florence is already one! It doesn't seem that long ago that I was here chatting while pregnant with her.... We are going to actively try this month, so in a couple of weeks it will be all systems go for us! I hope it happens quickly and it's not a long process of getting pregnant. - Cass

Babydusted - 190 days ago.
It's quiet in here... *looks around suspiciously* Maybe too quiet. *chirping crickets*

vi-chick (Yellow) - 191 days ago.
I did cry the first time I saw this Peanut's heartbeat, I think I cried all three times lol. I just found out that DH will be able to come to my next prenatal appointment, but won't be able to come to the 18 week scan. He was as the scan for DS, and we both loved seeing him wave at us. DH never did hear DS's heartbeat, so it'll be nice that he'll be able to hear Peanut's heartbeat. Wish he could come to the ultrasound tho. But there might be hope. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Babydusted - 194 days ago.
Oh, HUGE sigh of relief. Doc saw the heartbeat, but couldn't tell the rate. I almost burst into tears when I saw that little blip of a beating heart! I was hoping for a hr, but she kept picking up mine. :) Said it was probably a bit early to tell. Yolk salk, fetal poles, all there...measured at 6 wks, 3 days...when by my count I was 6 weeks, 6 days...so I seem to be right on target. I have another follow up in two weeks after 8 week mark. Cautiously optimistic until then, and I have some pictures to hold onto!

vi-chick (Yellow) - 195 days ago.
Babydusted, how did your ultrasound go?

rockyd - 196 days ago.
Congratulations Conmae

Babydusted - 197 days ago.
So, I have my first u/s scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Like most of us, I'm petrified. I have very little to no cramping, no bleeding at all, everything seems normal, but yet my heart almost stops when I think about it...what if they don't see a heartbeat. :( This must be the pregnancy hormones kicking in. I'm usually not this irrational.

kimkayb - 197 days ago.
VI-Yay for kicks & hiccups :) I can't wait for all that fun stuff, now to get preggers! lol TURTLE-Congrats girl, 8wks already?? Time is flying! KATHY-That doesn't sound like any fun, good luck w/ that :) It'll be for the best!

kathy24 - 197 days ago.
So I'm off to see a dietician for gestiational diabetes. UGH I'm not looking forward to this and all the carb counting, I want my sugar!!!!

turtlefur - 197 days ago.
vi--that's soooo exciting!! i love being able to 'feel' baby moving...can't wait for this one to start making him/herself known...8 weeks today :-) found out a month ago...time is surely moving at a nice clip

vi-chick (Yellow) - 198 days ago.
I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow and am feeling some proper kicks now, it's so exciting! And Peanut has had the hiccups two nights in a row now too. Love it!

sher25 - 199 days ago.
Congratulations Conmae!

Babydusted - 200 days ago.
Hahah, you're so tiny, Turtle, it LOOKS like you swallowed a little magic baby bean in your tummy! Congrats on the successful appt. I have my first on Friday afternoon, so I have my fingers crossed.

turtlefur - 200 days ago.
We had our 1st OB appointment this morning. We began with an ultrasound showing our baby bean measuring consistently with ovulation/conception date. I have a cyst on the right ovary...probably where i ovulated. DH was with me & we heard baby's heartbeat for the 1st time at a rate of 156. Our OB is awesome (she & DH went to med school together and we go to the same church)...she explained everything very well and gave recommendations. We opted to not have the quad test or tripe screenings. And she offered to let us schedule an induction a week before we are due, which is nice. I'm just leery about pitocin. It was not a good experience when i had DD 3.5 years ago. We wrapped it up with a pap smear and labwork. And then scheduled another OB visit & ultrasound in 4 weeks to recheck to ovarian cyst. Hooray!!! We will start announcing the pregnancy this week! We just told our DD & she's very excited...she thinks i swallowed a baby to get it into my belly hahahaha!

TinaLouise - 200 days ago.
Congratulations conmae!!!!!!! =)
