Fizzy85 I too tollk quite afew months to fall pregnant. about 7.. Im 41 and my partner is 34. I already had three children from a previous marriage but he was desperate to have one of his own. Ireally in the end didnt think i could fall pregnant, and after seeing the doctor was told i would probably hav to go to the ivf clinic as my cycle was all over the palce and was told would prob never concieve without help...So we decided to stop trying and I was going to have my Boobs done instead..hehehe... Well 3 days before surgury I found out i was pregnant.....I think sometimes wanting to be pregnant so so much can affect your body, when we relaxed and werent so worried about it it happened...( Still getting booies just have to wait till after the pregnancy now lool) xx

weber3 - 68 days ago.
@thanks number4@41, hoping I will join you all soon, yes this forum is great!! I followed all the way thru pregnancy with number 3, then followed with my last and finally decided to officially join, but then I started spotting 2 days later so here I sit in TTC

weber3 - 68 days ago.
@mangomama I am well, just wishing my spotting would hurry up and stop and that AF would hurry up and come

weber3 - 68 days ago.
@sparky I don't have any secret but inside I think exercise helps a lot and I do chart BBT to know what's going on in my cycle.

fizzy85 - 68 days ago.
@sparky - hi there. I'm a bit career minded b4..hehe. 360 degree change after marriage. affect my hormone, short luteal phase, long menstrual, non-stop for 1st few months. pregnant last sept, m/c at week 11 and my hubby blamed me, he thought i didnt want a baby yet..arghhh..man, they're so insensitive.

sparky - 68 days ago.
@fizzy - I too married at 37 and hubby was 40... @weber - please tell me what your secret is...it's been almost 6 years and still no baby.

fizzy85 - 69 days ago.
older1 &mangomm - dunno much abt bh but hope everything is okay. now, i miss being pregnant. Oh God, i long to be pregnant again...not sure whether i can wait 2-3 months..hehe...

mangomomma - 70 days ago.
older1~for the last couple of weeks I've had small bh. I have read that this is common, but I am still going to talk to my dr this Friday at my next OB appt. Welcomenumber4~I will be 41 this month and this is my 4th baby for me. It's a nice forum, I also enjoy the weekly forums, too. @weber~hope you're doing well.

older1sttimemom2be - 71 days ago.
Hi ladies! I haven't posted in here in ages, because there are so many places to post I forget where I last posted. lol I hope everyone is okay. I am now 26 weeks 1 day and have been having a lot of braxton hicks. They come every 5-10 min, and I've already been checked out once, but am still really worried that my fibroids are kicking me into pre-term labor. Has anyone who has been through this had this happen? ( the early BH). This is my first baby and I'll be 42 when she is born, so I worry that my body is having a hard time with this. Let me know what you think. xx

fizzy85 - 72 days ago.
@weber. yup, i does make me hopeful:) a friend of my friend got four kids after 40. another friend got a beautiful daughtr at 46. amazing right! my obyn friends said being healthy n fit is more important thn adv age. hope u'll get another one soon. as for me, gonna take a break for 2-3 mths, got to finish my writeup ist. not much progress with my study after my bfp b4.despite being informed, i was puzzled, dizzy with very surpressed immune b4 (non-stop flu/cold, it's winter here)

weber3 - 72 days ago.
@fizzy if it's any encouragement to you, i married at age 37 and haved a healthy 4 yr old and 17 months old and am hoping for another.

fizzy85 - 74 days ago.
hi all. after i got my 1st preg 3 months ago n m/s early this wk, i salute all mothers. it's testing n challenging to be a mom & u r all great. i got married quite late (11 mths ago) (too busy n occupied with work lol) n my hb is very keen to hv a bby. we're both 35+, thus time is running out. so i'm under a bit of pressure but trying my best to stay calm n positive. i'll ttc again after i submit my thesis. now, i got too much to handle...hehe...

weber3 - 74 days ago.
@kathy24 ,@mangomomma thanks for your kind words. I believe we were in the same week @mangomomma. I haven't given up yet, and God is healing as is time. I still cry everyday but I am accepting it and feel 'ok' with what happened and even 'ok' if I don't have another baby though I desperately want one and will be trying again!

mangomomma - 75 days ago.
sending you hugs weber:( @kathy~holy cow, already 2 weeks. Time flies by. I'm wanting this pg to go a bit faster in a way, but not because that means my daughter will be graduating:( Talk about hormones there!!! I'm due 3 days after she graduates. I hope I'm early. I'm going to be bawling either way though :'(

I went for my 2 week postpartum check up today, I cried when I left now I'm thinking I wish I didn't have my tubes tied and maybe I want another one, I know with my age and health its probally not a good idea I hope its my hormones. I can't belive Addison is already 2 weeks old and she is my last baby.

kathy24 - 76 days ago.
weber3-I'm so sorry about your loss I know what your going thru I had M/C at 9 weeks and its heartbreaking but don't give up.

soso - 76 days ago.
Hi All, I still check in most weeks just to see how you are all doing. I'm still undecided as to whether I go for No.5. I would like to try but at the moment I'm just about juggling a career with 3 little ones and whilst I would love one more precious gift it would mean finally giving up work and I'm still wrestling with that decision. So whilst I am undecided I gain some comfort from reading your stories of various stages of expectation / expecting :)

weber3 - 76 days ago.
I am still here, just silent because I had a m/c last weekend Hopehopefully will be joining you ladies on here again soon!

mangomomma - 77 days ago.
kim-marie~we have friends who think we are nuts, too. This is dh's first and we are so excited. I am 13 weeks today. alsacemommy(kim-marie) - 78 days ago.
