Ok ladies I want to hear my jelly beans heart beat! I hope he can hear it Wednesday

mangomomma - 102 days ago.
Just got back from my 2nd ob appt. Lil peanut's hb was strong, loud and healthy at 164 bpm! My nurse recorded it on my cell so dh and the rest of my fam can hear it. Can't wait for dh to get home!!!Except my weight, of course, dr said everything looks great and healthy, even with my 'advanced age'. LMAO. Keep us updated Kathy~thinking about you ; )

kathy24 - 102 days ago.

kathy24 - 102 days ago.
Chicken nachos sounds yummy, I think I know whats for dinner now.

indigocream - 103 days ago.
Chicken Nachos at 3 in the morning is not healthy... So I will try to show some restraint tonight!

Baby Beautiful - 104 days ago.
Aw thanks ladies, I guess I just need to be patient but I can hear the clock ticking and the age gap getting bigger but I will hang in there a little longer for sure!!! Sticky baby dust to you all xxx

mangomomma - 104 days ago.
Hang in there baby beautiful. Maybe he needs a lil bit of time to let it sink in. I agree with Kathy, hang in there. @mzkae~glad everything went well for you. Hopefully ms will subside. @indigo~same here. I was pretty much a crybaby before, but holy moly!! Kids jsut laugh at me :) Glad everyone is doing well. Us 'mature' mommies gotta' stick together!!

indigocream - 104 days ago.
Hello ladies I had a miscarriage in august so when I got pregnant in October I have prayed for morning sickness.... I haven't had much so I was worried about the baby. But today while watching a YouTube video I started crying and i was like ok ur still pregnant...lol

mzkae - 104 days ago.
Idon't think I have posted on here since my first appointment and u/s. Everything looked great. We were able to see a heartbeat and everything measured just as it should. I feel so much better. Now if I could just eat something. Everything makes me sick. :( Oh well, it will all be worth it in the end!

kathy24 - 104 days ago.
Babybeautiful-You still have some time I turned 41 in March and 2 days after my birthday I got my BFP we tried for awhile and even had a miscarriage last summer at 9 weeks so hang in there I'm proof it can work.

Baby Beautiful - 105 days ago.
Hello ladies. Im new to this advanced age forum but have been in the TTC forum for a while!!! I guess I just odnt like being classified as advanced age!! Anyway me and my DH have 2 girls 9 and 2 and we are trying for our 3rd. Im almost 37 and he is 51. He has 2 older people (cant really call them kids at 28 and 31!!) and he became GRndad for the 1st time last week. Now he thinks its wrong to have another one of our own because hisa child would be younger than his grandchild. But I say WHO CARES??!! In this day and age of 2nd marriages and 2nd families its quite normal. It might be a bit different but we do different soooo well!!! Hes in 2 minds and not 100% convinced but is still having unprotexted sex with me so I guess deep down he does want another one! Been TTC though for a year and time is running out :(

indigocream - 105 days ago.
@June I guess u wanted the spot light... I understand! But everything happens for a reason.. Try to relax and enjoy the friendship u can have with her! But to b honest with you it's none of ur business! Ur pregnancy is personal to u and hers is hers... Try to be a great daughter, a big sister and a wonderful friend

Vikki - 105 days ago.
So right soso. I have a friend who when pregnant with her 8th found out her daughter was expecting too! Now she ( my friend) has 9 ..........juneforlife61@gmail.com,don't be hard on your mother, she is still a women who loves her babies. The grown and the tiny. I'm not sure of what you mean by 'tackful way of handling ' means. ( Dont take this as an attack bercause I don't mean it that way) but what is it that bothers you? Is it that you felt she was old and in a 'new phase of life'? I my self am 41 ( almost 42) and we are hoping for more. What scares you about this situation? Do you feel that your own little one will miss out on Grandma time? Do you feel that you are going to miss out on the fussing of your mother over you? Your Mum is most likely not going to miss your joy. I know that my friend that had her Granddaughter arrive not long before her own daughter, has never missed the opportunity to be grandma too! It was so much fun at her place when we'd visit. Children all over the place. had my 17 yr there with her 17yr and all our little ones including the grand daughter ( the young mum was out) and when friends 17yr came home to see all the babies and toddlers and kids ( 7 others of her family and 5 of mine) she laughed and said ' ok so who owns which babies?!' My 17 yr old said ' Ok so that ones yours, this ones mine, yours yours mine....' It was so funny and really nice. They all get along and my friends children and grandchild all get along really well. They get excited when they visit. So I guess I'm saying it will all be fine. Take a deep breathe and just because it isn't 'mainstream' these days doesn't make it bad. This is how life used to be for most families. Embrace it:-D

soso - 105 days ago.
Hello June, I was 38 years old and pregnant when my 17 year old daughter came home from School and told me she was also pregnant. Her little boy was born on 27 May 2009 and mine was born 19 June 2009. As I was classified as full term when she went in labour they would not let me in the delivery room for the fear that the stress would start my labour off! It was weird to begin with but we got through it and now the two boys are the best of friends - they share the same bedroom and pretty much everything. My son who is the younger is the uncle - should be interesting explaining that story when they are older. By the way my husband was 54. He is now 56 and I am 40 and we are thinking of trying again - there is no textbook ideal family out there. Older medics told me that the phenomena of mother and daughter being pregnant at the same time used to be a lot more common in the olden days. Women can have babies from 13-50 (and sometimes beyond) - I would not judge your mum, just celebrate and enjoy the experience together. Certainly I am happy to chat about my experience if you want.

kathy24 - 105 days ago.
Back from the doctor BP was 168/102 got another RX for more BP meds and was told if its not better bt next Tues then she will go ahead and take the baby next Fri and if my BP goes down some then shw will wait till the following Mon which would be beter because that would make me 37 weeks and 1 day.. Just wondering what you ladies think would you wants your baby birthday on 11-11-11 or 11-14-11?

Hi all. I'm just starting off on a round of IVF. I'm hoping to have a sibling for my 9 month old. Feeling quite relaxed and philosophical at the moment, but I doubt that will last! Best wishes to you all.

mangomomma - 107 days ago.

holymotherofgod - 109 days ago.
What a great forum =) I'm excited for all of us who are either already pregnant or trying. Never before in history has there been so much knowledge, technology, and awareness of how to have a healthy pregnancy at our ages. Best wishes to all.

indigocream - 109 days ago.
Hi ladies I'm 42 and just got a BFP yesterday! This is my 8th child... I have had one m/c. I have had seven c sections and I'm very excited about my Pystol! The dr. Put me on Progesterone also... Dr appointment on November 9....

henrysmaman - 109 days ago.
Mango, also about hcg levels - my doc ordered that for me because I've had 3 miscarriages. She also wanted to check my progesterone levels. With this pregnancy I'm on progesterone because my numbers were borderline low.
