Has anyone had low HCG levels, and ended up with a normal pregnancy>? Last month I had a m/c and then ended up getting pregnant this month. My first set of bloodwork came back at 428, and the second at 618. I'm sure they should have doubled, but my Dr is optimistic since they are going up. I am not so sure.....

mummygirl2 - 286 days ago.
ok i did a pregnany test on monday night came back with two lines positive now i did a blood test and my HCG came back as 37??

Apreston - 298 days ago.
ok i took a pt last week on the 13 and had blood work done and drs said my levels were at 105, and they said that it could just be really early. so they had me come back on monday the 18 to recheck my levels and they were at 2000. so the drs said that it could be a possiblyity of multiples. but when i went in today my levels were at 6000 and they didnt say anything this time. does anyone have any advice on what they think. whether it could be twins or not.

lilmama17 - 361 days ago.
yes, they said in 3-4 days.. more then likely o on Monday cause i want to no...... I thought that if they didn't see anything, it was neg- and if they seen anything it would be pos?. doesn't make any sense to mee? ;s

erica75 - 361 days ago.
lilmama- it probably means they are low because you might have tested too early. Are you getting retested in a few days? That will tell alot.

lilmama17 - 362 days ago.
i took a blood test yesterday, and it came back inconclusive??.. what does this mean??

erica75 - 362 days ago.
At 4 weeks my beta was 100. 7 days later it was only 544. 2 days after that it was 1326. With my last pregnancy at 5 weeks it was 11,000. Every pregnancy is different. I go for ultrasound at 7 weeks.

jenny1110 - 364 days ago.
wow rockyd that's insane! My doctor told me not to be concerned about the number or what each website says is the norm. It depends on the female and everyone is different. As long as the numbers are doubling then it's all good. I find out my 3rd test result today! I'm on pins and needles!!!

rockyd - 364 days ago.
Hi Jennie and Brie-my HCG was 7700 at 6 weeks and 5 days. 2 years ago it was 22000. I guess every pregnancy is different. I don't know but I am nervous doctor says it is normal and i don't need to repeat. 1st u/s will be tomorrow. Good Luck ladies. Wish I had another HCG level drawn. I haven't had any bleeding or cramping. the only symptom i am having is i am always hungry and my nipples are sore. No nausea or vomiting.

jenny1110 - 364 days ago.
I get the results tomorrow and im gonna take another one next week. im staying SO positive. I guess everyone's #'s are different. The doctor was telling me was to focus on mine doubliong and not what every website says. For a skinny mini and workout freak like myself I'm definitely eating like a pregnant women. So wierd!

jenny1011 - My HCG Beta number went from 60 to 204 in 48 hrs! Yeah so excited!

brie(blue) - 365 days ago.
jenny1011 - That is great news!!! Congratulations! Wishing you a very healthy nine months!

jenny1011 - 365 days ago.
Brie-just got back my HCG results. I went form a 76 to a 145 in just 2-3 days. I'm staying positive!!! Tomorrow is another blood test. Whewww I've never been on pins and needles like this in my entire life! (and I got 9 more months to go!!!) :) Thanks again for your words of encouragement!

jenny1110 - 366 days ago.
Thanks Brie! You're the only person who has responded to me! I appreciate it! When I got the results, the way the receptionist and dr. spoke to me I thought it meant I was going to mc 100%. I was so devastated hysterical sobbing, my husband rushed out of work. I laid in bed the entire day/night crying. I just think doctors scare the crap out of us sometimes :(. Tomorrow I will find the results from test #2 -FINGERS CROSSED! I went to church today and I'm not even catholic (my husband is) so I'm just trying to stay positive and pray every single day! Thank you again.

jenny1110 - I just had my first Beta test at 15 days past ovulation and my number was only 60. My nurse said my number was perfectly fine so I think you are fine too! Good luck!

jenny1110 - 367 days ago.
Has anyone had a low HCG level of 75 for their first blood test and had a healthy pregnancy? I 'm 4w and know it's a little too early. Im waiting for my 2nd blood test to come back. It's so nerve racking. I know they everyone's #'s are different and they vary from woman to woman but I'm alittle freaked out. Just wondering if anyone had the same issue?

nickles12 - 393 days ago.
I added pink dye answer brand test to my profile, please go look and let me know what you think f it is +? they didnt have first response brand and i didn another blue dye and it seemed to look like a barely there slight line..

BeccyA - 394 days ago.

saibaby - 402 days ago.
Last Wednesday when I came to know I am pregnant and the blood work showed me that the HCG level was 866(2-3 weeks). Then on Friday I started spotting (very light) and I got pannicked and told the nurse. She advised me to get the blood work again for finding the HCG levels and to my shock the HCG level has come down to 430. The nurse said it looks like a misscarriage and told me to come back again on monday to check the HCG level again. I am so nervous this weekend. The spotting is not much at all now. Does anyone know what is happening? I still have hopes that it is not a miscarriage and the HCG level will raise again on monday. Any comments/suggestions please?

Here is a great website for hcg levels http://www.betabase.info/index.php

Deb2010 - 442 days ago.
Hi there 2beamommy - I wouldnt worry too much about your HCG levels, just as long as they keep rising. There is a huge range of what is considered 'normal' levels. I am 10 weeks, and when I was 4 weeks my HCG levels were 491, at 5w1d it jumped to 9447 and then at 6 weeks it was 31194. I have been spotting the whole way through and had an u/s at 6w6d and there was a heartbeat. Dont worry too much about the levels, just book in for an u/s at 6 weeks and you will be fine!

kimkayb - 450 days ago.
vpfm74~ I am confused. For instance, I am 5wks 1day, my lmp was Oct 16th, and I ovulated on day 17. You couldn't have ovulated the same day you started your period. Did you ask the Dr about this? What did they say when you finished your appt?

vpfm74 - 451 days ago.
kimkayb- I think it was October 14th. Although it was a lot heavier than a normal one and it lasted maybe 6 days.

kimkayb - 451 days ago.
vpfm74~What was the day of your LMP?
