monika01 - 233 days ago.
well got my u/s today i think i wont be having another for 3 wks this time :O) i have been going every 2 weeks for several months. still measureing at 2.1 :O) which is terrific considering my bedrest is moderate... still lying around more then 50% but holding. :O) BAby is now ofically measuing 0ver 90-99perentile Everywhere.. not just tummy and femur...lol some parts were 75-80 but seems she is growing like a weed in there..lol :O)

monika01 - 234 days ago.
Beegee~ yes anal pain is a definate. but i have well a prob. with them for some time right now... and so i find that when thye are really bad thr pain literally steaches across to my vag.. dosent help with baby pressing on my cervix most of he time:O) ~~ congrats on your length and baby size.. I get my u/s tomorrow she has been measuring in the 90 -99% the whole time so me and dh think she will be just under 4 pds.. as she was 2 15oz at only 26 and 6 days... i will be 28 and 6 tomorrow so it is excting~ i hope my length is still over 2. :O)

beegee - 234 days ago.
hey ladies. Had my 34wk us yesterday. Baby is measuring in the 64%, so I guess thats good. Weight is ~5lbs 3oz. I'm so excited. Another month and a half and I will be spending hours staring down at a baby in my arms. Cervix is still measuring 1.6cm with funneling. Monika- bhs start at the top of the uterus. I have been having extremely bad pain right by my cervix. My dr said its probably the area where all the abdominal muscles attach down below, but let me tell you, it takes my breath away sometimes. And whats up with the hemroids? Do they really cause vaginal pain? I though it was just anal pain.

DReavega - 234 days ago.
Yeah, they are no fun at all! I'm glad thats all it was though. I've been using preperation h wipes after each bm just to keep them from flaring up!!

monika01 - 234 days ago.
Drevega~ thanks ya i have heard of that but i know that it was not that since she was in a diff. postions... turned out that the pain was caused by my hemroiods :O( very painful... i used some cream and it helped. :O) they have been really painful lately...

DReavega - 234 days ago.
Monika, I was feeling something similiar two weeks ago and went to L&D, it turned out the baby was kicking my cervix! Is that a possibility?

monika01 - 236 days ago.
Question~ i get tightening and pressure feeling in my vag.. are these brx hicks or something ele i had some yetererday and now tdya they are frequent... not super painful.. a little here and there ... not sure what to think...? could it be hemriods? my tummy dosent get hard.. so i just am unsure of what this is... any ideas?

monika01 - 236 days ago.
Beegee~ i am not too concerned about my cervix... i lye around more then 50% of the day to 75% ... though i too am going to the mall.. shopping... nothing crazy like an hour or so, and i tend to recline in the car ... if i feel any change i lye down... i am almost 29 wks and i get my us this week on wed. 1 day before 29 wks. my ob will give me the shot (steriod )as a precaustion b/c my lil girl is measureing in the 90 -99 percentile so hw is adding loads of pressure... lol.. my ob thought maybe she was haveing a growth spurt whn the first nimbers came back.. well its been 4 months and shes still getting HUGe..lol.. so that can casue the pressure i know those tech. aren't very accurate but at 26 and 6 she was measuring in at 2pds 15 oz. and now i think she is allmost 4 pds.. thoguh iwill find out soon... her tummy is measureing in the 99% and the rest of her goes between 75-90 . THis puts me at ease knowing that she is a big girl i have less to worry abot.. still i hope she hangs in there till wk 26 ... though wk 35 i will be sced. a c-section if she still measures so big , b/c of risk of me assing out wiht a 11 pder or more... ( my grandmas were all over 10 -almost 13pds.and she was 5'2 )... :O/

I hope this week goes by fast. I'm so eager for my cervical scan on Thursday. It was this time last pregnancy that my cervix became really stubborn with significant shortening and dilation. Not sure why I agreed to wait 4 weeks until this u/s; it just makes me so nervous. My gut tells me my cervix is going to hold out longer this time. Fingers crossed. Hope everyone is feeling great! Congrats, DReavega on 24 weeks! Monica, the u/s pics are so neat!

beegee - 237 days ago.
hey ladies, just popping in. Charli-congrats on the birth of your little girl. monika-try not to worry about your cervix shrinking. At 20 wks I went from 3.2 down to 1.1, and I've been hanging around the 1.5 mark ever since. I'm supposed to be on bedrest, but my dr has taken a lot of the restrictions off. I've been taking walks, going shopping, doing all the normal things with the exception of heavy lifting. So stay positive. DReavega- on the morning that I turned 24wks, we took a trip up to the mountains, had breakfast in bed, and had a champagne toast to viability, so no, you are not cheesy

carlos-erin - 237 days ago.
DReavega-Congrats! I know how you feel since I am only a couple of days away from reaching the same goal. Keep up the good work!

Syrenasbaby - 237 days ago.
Dreavega...congrats on making it to viability!!! Monika01...great pics!!

monika01 - 237 days ago.
Congrats Dreveaga reaching viability is critical and worth celebrating !!

DReavega - 237 days ago.
24 weeks!!! Woot woot! I got up this morning at 6 am to have a peice of cake my sister made to celebrate viability lol, yes I know we're nerds but were just so happy to make it to this milestone!!

DReavega - 238 days ago.
Wow Monika, they look great! She is already so adorable!

monika01 - 238 days ago.
I posted a few photos of my lil girl 3 d u/s that i had today... so cool to see her lil face she made some oh not so cute faces... but had her eyes opened a bit so so cool... didnt get the shot but still nice to see her so very big at 28 wks!!

DReavega - 239 days ago.
@jessa, the nursery does make it so tangible. Were planning on starting ours next week but my grandpa is in there putting up wood railing half way up the wall right now and the sounds from the hammer are making me feel emotional. We plan on doing pink purple and light green stripped wall paper half way up the wall, have it meet the white railing, then paint the top half light green. I found some amazing girly looking animal decals I want to order from amazon to decorate the top half! @monika, I hope your length hangs in there! Post pix if you can from the 3d, my hubby got a gift certificate to have one for our baby for fathers day but we want to wait until 27/28 weeks, so we still have a month to go but I think they are so neat!

monika01 - 239 days ago.
everything is good here my cervix was shorter last time at 2.1 .. i get a 3 d tomorrow and a length check next wed... it i am below 1.5 i will be getting the steriod shot as a precaution.. got my rhogam this week.....lying around gonna go get my hair done toaday ..its ridiculous haven't been since march . baby is chilling getting big wk 28 i feel good... got my life bank cord blood kit ready to go now:O)

jessa521 - 239 days ago.
dreavega...glad you're doing well! It has been quiet on here. I've just been holding tight until my next cervical scan on June 30. Like you, my last scan was awesome so the doctor moved me from 2 weeks to 4 weeks (it wasn't my regular specialist and he didn't seem to be aware of our u/s schedule). Anyway, makes me nervous waiting the extra 2 weeks. I'll be 26 weeks tomorrow and this is right around the time I started dilating last pregnancy, so that makes me a bit nervous. We finally started the nursery and it is all becoming so real. We're hoping to make it until at least 34 weeks this time..my goodness, that is only 8 weeks away!

DReavega - 239 days ago.
Its been really quite on here! I hope everyone is doing well! I'm doing good, just laying around but super excited to be hitting 24 weeks on Saturday! I'm getting steroid shots as a precaution on Monday, anyone else had them? Any funny side effects? My cervix has shortened alittle but is still at 3.5 so my doctors are switching my to sonos every two weeks to check length instead of every week. It makes me nervous but I think that feeling will be there until I hit 28 weeks! So how is everyone else baking??

charlihadleypreggo3 - 241 days ago.
YAY i got my cerclage removed last night. he stretched me adn broke the scar tissue ....OUCH..and told me i was at a 3. ive had loads of contractions, they were more consistant, but have died off since then..now they are few and far between! i am starting to loose my plug! but thats about it..now its just a waiting game to go into labor. if i dont on my own he will induce me thursday. i am SO READY!!!! keep up the bed rest girls, and i hope all is well!!!!

DReavega - 241 days ago.
Omg this baby kicks my cervix so much! It freaks me out, in fact when it happened the first time I went to ER! Anyone else experiencing this?

carlos-erin - 241 days ago.
monika-Keep up the bed rest so hopefully your cervix length stays the same. You need to keep that baby in there keeping.

DReavega - 241 days ago.
Monika, i'll keep you in my thoughts that your cervix holds steady and you can carry to term. Its always scary when we get a drop in length (i went from 4.1 to 3.5 and about drove myself nuts) but I'm a member of another ic board and some of the ladies are almost full term and have had lengths under one since 20 weeks, so we're doing okay! Hang in there and keep us posted
