So i went to the ob today and turns out my cervix measured 2.1 not 3.1.. big differnce :( she said if my cervix next u/s shows below 1.2 i will be gettig the steriod shot for lung development immediatly. i really hope i can be pg for another 2 months...baby is def. measuring huge tummy circumfrance is 99% ile an deverything else is over 80 -90 % so yes big baby at 27 wks already 3 pds so i wonder what she will weigh in only another week...

carlos-erin - 245 days ago.
Just got back from seeing my high risk Dr. Everything is looking good. Cervix measured 4.5 cm this time. Said the cerclage couldn't have been placed any higher. The baby was showing off his little package the whole time. Hubby was very proud.

ddhenry1220 - 245 days ago.
Hey ladies, it's been awhile. 24 weeks today, yay! Had an appointment yesterday and my cervix is good but the baby's head is putting pressure on the cervix and uterus has started to thin. My doctor started me on Procardia. @Syrenasbaby- I have been having problems with discharge also. My doctor gives me Metrogel every other week to prevent Bacterial Vaginosis. I also get the P17 shots so not sure what is causing it. @Jumama-great news, keep up the good work. @monika01-congrats, it won't be long now...

carlos-erin - 245 days ago.
jumama-That is so great you have reached this far. You are almost there. Just keep them in there as long as possible. Pretty soon you will be bringing 2 little babies home with you. :)

jumama - 246 days ago.
Had appt yesterday made it another week with these two I am now 35 weeks today hoping to make it one more week. Still 3 cm dilated some Dr might say 4 she said. Monika that is great and baby seems to be going well.

DReavega - 246 days ago.
Monika, that's great! At the rate your baby is going its going to be an adorable little chunk! I had been having a sono every week but they didn't schedule one this week, they scheduled me on Monday so I'm going exactly two weeks between sonos and I can't wait to see how mucg this little one has grown. I'll be 23 weeks then, I had my daughter at 22 and she weighed one pound. So I'm hoping for over a pound!

monika01 - 247 days ago.
Another U/s today measuring at 3.1 still which is amesome considering i have been a bit more mobile... still lyeing down over 80% but holding!!! baby is 2pd 15 oz. at only 27 wks. :O) foot is measuring 6 cm.

jessa521 - 248 days ago.
syrenasbaby....my nurse always warns me that the p17 injections can greatly increase discharge. I've noticed it a little, but not a lot. Not sure about the discharge with cerclage.

jumama - 249 days ago.
Syrenas I've never had the cerclage or the shots but I do discharge a lot that I need to use pantyliners

syrenasbaby - 249 days ago.
Hey ladies...hope this isn't TMI but has anyone else had alot of discharge after the cerclage??and it seem like it gets worst after my 17p shot...is it just me or is this normal??JUMAMA...hang in there girl just a few more weeks!!!!You can do it :)

jessa521 - 249 days ago.
jumama....you're doing great. My fingers are crossed that they'll make it another few weeks.

monika01 - 249 days ago.
Great news Jumma~! i hope they can wait a few more weeks!!..

DReavega - 249 days ago.
Glad you made it home, good luck baking for a couple more weeks!

jumama - 250 days ago.
Well after going to L&D on Monday the dr let me come home on Saturday they only let me come home because I live so close to the hospital. I had no change in those 6 days so I am hoping I can keep these two in for another week or two I'll be 35 weeks on Friday twins are normally delivered at 36 37 weeks keeping my legs crossed. Hope the rest of you are doing well.

DReavega - 251 days ago.
Thanks Monika, I am being lazy in bed today (more than usual, I'm still in jammies) but I think if I stay calm I'll make it though this week in one peice. I can't wait to get to 24, that's when I'm going start bossing around my family to help me get the nursery going :)

monika01 - 252 days ago.

DReavega - 252 days ago.
Thank you babyinjuly!

babyinjuly09 - 252 days ago.
DReavega ~ I will be thinking about you tomorrow. I know that's always a hard day to get past. I'm glad everything is looking good so far!! Keep up the good work/rest :-)

DReavega - 252 days ago.
Well tomorrow I hit the gestation I lost my daughter at....for all the anxiety I had the past couple weeks I'm oddly calm today....but lets see what tomorrow brings! I saw ob and peri this week and everything looked great, CL over 4...but my next appointment isn't until the 20th....this is the first week I don't have an appointment to be checked. Hopefully I'll keep my sanity the next ten days!

babyinjuly09 - 252 days ago.
Wow!! It's been busy on here - I haven't been on in a while. Things are going well. Clara is 3 weeks old today!! It's been a bit of a challenge with an almost 2 year old boy on top of having a newborn but I still feel very blessed. It sounds like everyone is doing well!........... Monika - Hang in there. I felt the same way when I was pregnant with Henry. We didn't wait very long to get pregnant again and I just wanted him to come out already. I had him a 34 weeks because I pushed myself a bit too hard when the doc lightened up on my restrictions. I know it's hard but take it easy. Dominique is exactly right!! Soon you will be sleep-deprived and worrying about dirty diapers and the baby's weight gain. I wish there was a way to stockpile all of the extra rest you get on bedrest!!! I am exhausted!!!..............jumama ~ How is everything going in the hospital? I hope you can keep them in there a bit longer :-)...............PennyGrace ~ GREAT cervical length!! I hope the cerclage goes well.

jessa521 - 252 days ago.
monika...I'm glad your appt went well and your cervix length is great! I'm at 24 weeks today; such a great feeling. My cervix doesn't get checked again until June 30. My fingers are crossed, as with my last pregnancy that was when I started to dilate. I'm feeling good and so very exciting for this little girl to join our family!!

monika01 - 253 days ago.
well i told my ob about removing it early ... she said no.... i wasent' surprised..lol.. but i had to ask... i told her that i am done wiht being pg.. just b/c it ha been a year now... she asked me how long it was between pg's.. nd i said that we got pg only 6 days after the bleeding form pg (loss 1) occured... FAst! .. so obviously we will be extra vigilant next time...lol.. I told her that i just didnt want to have baby on my Dh's bday..( he dosent mind) but i would. so she said we can always take it off right after...lol.. again not what i had in mind.. i was hoping for a 35/36 at the latest baby... she hopes for a 38! so i asked her if i would be geting a c section if baby contiues to measure hUge...she told me tht if my diabetes comes back pos. then yes b/c of risk.. but otherwise baby would have to be well over 10.... oh so we shall see... she did say some minor movement is okay..:O) like cooking dinner.. or grocery shoppin once a week just no lifting or exerction..:O) at 28 wks (2 wks) we will reevaluat depending on my cervix.. holing at 3.1 still :O)

beegee - 253 days ago.
As for me, same ol same ol. After weeks of my cervox being 1.1-1.7, I pretty much took myself off of bedrest. Don't get me wrong, I'm still taking it easy, with no heavy lifting, but I can't stay at home alone anymore. I've been taking trips, shopping, driving around, visiting friends, and doing simple things around the house. If I start feeling pain, then I take it easy for a bit. I've been honest with my dr about my level of activity, so each week he takes more restrictions off of me. His only grip is that he doesn't want me going back to work, ugh, I could use the extra money right now. Oh well. 31wks down, 6 until the cerclage comes out, then a baby soon after. Come on baby!!!

beegee - 253 days ago.
jumama- yikes, I hope that all of those symptoms were due to dehydration, and not because your little ones are tired of bed rest too. Good luck at the hospital, and tell those two to settle down, and stay put for another 2 wks monika- At this point ultrasounds can be so far off with measurements. Let that little one stay in there for as long as they want to. Dominique-glad to hear that everything with your little princess is going so great syrena- it took me about 5 shots before I got used to them, but 1 nurse there still kills me when she injects me, and I have no idea what she is doing so differently from the other 4 nurses penny- thats great to hear. DD-I hear ya, I want this little one out now! I am just so excited about being able to hold this one, and rock them to sleep, and of course cover them in kisses

jumama - 254 days ago.
Well was having period like cramps and bad back pain on Monday Dr had me go to l&d I was 4cm dilated and at -2 station. So I am now staying in the hospitalize they checked me wed and I am 100% effaced station 3 no change in dialation
