monika01 - 261 days ago.
As for me i reach wk 25 tomorrow had my U/s today measuring 3.1 to 3.2 and baby is measuring in the 90% meaning that ten is the biggest 1 is the smallest ( in size baby) i am a 9. I am so stoked her foot measures 2.08 in. and we foud out her face is not round like me and dh but more ovally..lol.. i wonder if that will change? i dont care .. just wonder.. So exciting!!! we will be painting her room this weekend ( well dh since i am on bedrest) :O) GO bed rest and cerclage!

monika01 - 261 days ago.
Syrena~ Congrats team blue. and an amazing length..( i admit i am pretty jelous.. actcuallly really jealous i will never have one like that since i have a short cervix too.. along with IC) but i am so thrilled for you !!! go bedrest!!!~~Penny ~ I am on prometriuem which is progestrone but in pill format i take 2 a day 200mg all together... my dr. opted for those as i didnt go into premature labour i just delvered my sac.. didint even feel a thing.. but iam takig it as a precasution till wk 28 staterd at 17... Is there a reason they wait till your 16 wks for IC to do a cerclage.. i thought i was it was only done wks 12 -14. i had mine at 13 though next baby i will have it t 12 b/c of my IC and short cervix..

Hi there, I was just wondering what the pro17 shot is I presume it is progesterone? I am from Australia and went into labour at 22 weeks with my daughter I was extremely lucky to get an emergency cerlage after which I had progesterone pessaries and nifedipine. I am 14 weeks along with my second and am due to have a cerclage at 16 weeks. I was just wondering if you guys know what the difference is between the shots and pessaries is? And if you have any advise! Starting to get nervous now.

jumama - 261 days ago.
syrenasbaby that is a great cervical length and congrats on the baby boy

syrenasbaby - 261 days ago.

beegee - 263 days ago.
Baby-thanks for the advice, and once again congrats on your little one. I really do hope that you can heal real soon so you can really enjoy her

babyinjuly09 - 265 days ago.
Hey Ladies! Sorry it's been a while since I've signed on! Everything is going great with little Clara. Such a good little baby so far. Her older brother is in love but he has a nasty little cold right now. Perfect timing, no? It turns out I have a nasty allergy to adhesive - not a good thing when you have had a c-section and an epidural!! I've been on one round of steroids so far and now I'm on antibiotics. I just hope it clears up soon - it's hard enough to recover from a c-section without thes added 'bonus.' ..............beegee ~ I was the same way with my bedrest. I took a very laid back approach to it until 34 weeks when I became 70% effaced. I think it's a good idea for you to start taking it easy around 30 weeks - wish I had done that!! Of course, it all worked out for the best :-). Hope everyone is doing well!!! Keep those babies cooking!!!!

beegee - 266 days ago.
As for me, I'm still doing well. I'm 29wks 3days today. All of my weekly CLs since wk22 have been below 2cm, mainly 1.1-1.8, it's the cerclage thats really holding thr baby in at this point. As for my bedrest, I've been really bad. Walking around, taking shopping trips, cleaning house. I got the ok from my OB to relax the bedrest a little, but with me you give me an inch, and I take a mile, and no matter what my activity level was, my CL remained in the same range. Now that I'm almost 30wks though, I've started back with relaxing more than anything. The fact that this little one will be gaining weight soon and will cause more oressure on my cerclage us no joke. I guess on a good note though, I passed my 1hr glucose test, which suprised the hell out of me. Well this has been long enough. Glad everyone is doing well, and have a safe and happy memorial day weekend

beegee - 266 days ago.
Hey ladies, sorry it's been so long, over 3wks since I was last here. First congrats baby on having and holding your healthy little one, I'm so jealous, still. Jumama- by the sounds of it, you might be next. I hope you can continue to cook those little ones for a week or more, at least. Welcome to the new ladys, you've def. come to the right place for information and support. Glad lots of women here have made it past those nasty milestones, and everyones CLs sound great.

syrenasbaby - 266 days ago.

haircaresbt@yahoo.com - 268 days ago.
Dreavega...I'm doing fine thanks for asking...not much cramping but, have to get use to this bed rest thing

ddhenry1220 - 268 days ago.
So I found out...it's a girl. I go back tomorrow for my next cervix check.

jumama - 268 days ago.
Had appt today and cervix is still measuring .80 so thats good is hasn't changed dr is more opstimistic that I might go a few more weeks than he first thought he thinks the weight of the babies is what is causing my cervix to this since I'm petite. Baby a is 4lbs 8 oz and Baby B is 4lbs 5oz. He said most twins at 32 weeks are only in the 3lbs range. We are in the 90th percentile. Hope everyone else is doing well

DReavega - 268 days ago.
I'm doing good! I think I'm finally going to start gaining weight, I've been so hungry the past two days! How are you healing Syrena?? Are you laying low at home?

syrenaspassion@yahoo.com - 268 days ago.

syrenaspassion@yahoo.com - 269 days ago.
Monika09....yes girl a spinal!!!they wouldn't put me to sleep she said she wanted to give the baby the least amount of meds. Possible...but once it was in I didn't feel anything and they put on a little music so I wouldn't hear what the doctor was saying so that worked...the cerclage itself only took about an hour.I was in recovery a lillte over five hours waiting to get feeling back in the lower half of my body!!I was cramping a little once I got to recovery but they gave me a little pain meds.and it went away...other then that I've been alright

monika01 - 269 days ago.
syrena~ spinal.. wowo your brave i optted to be put out... :O) how long was your procedure... mine took just over 3 hrs they had some complications...i was sore like crazy for 2 days. with back back & rib pain..
