Monika01...I talked to the doctor she explained everything to me and they gave me my prescription...as far as the cerclage it went really well ,so far I feel pretty good...the worst part was waiting for the spinal to wear off!!lol

monika01 - 269 days ago.
seyera~ yes there is a risk .. but my ob said only after 18 or 19 wks. i was gie the pill at 13 wks when i had my cerclage and 15 wks b/c i was haveing severe brx hicks contractions... i dont remember the risk but i do know that she dosent give it to ppl after 18 wks pg. somethign to do with premature labour or affecting the baby differently.. not sure... call your ob and find out... i wa told to just take it that once but maybe your dr just wants to make sure..... how are you doing with your cerclage..? is it your first?

syrenaspassion@yahoo.com - 269 days ago.
Monika01....they told me the pill was to ensure that I didn't have contractions as well... they gave me a perscription to take it for 48hours and when I went to get it filled they said they had to call them because there are risk when taking this med. During pregnancy...so now I'm going to call them and see what's going on

monika01 - 270 days ago.
syrena` i got some pill and an anal inseted pill to ensure i dont get contractions , and for constipation..no idea what it was called.. .. didi you goggle the meds?

syrenaspassion@yahoo.com - 270 days ago.

syrenaspassion@yahoo.com - 270 days ago.

Had a great u/s on Thursday. My cervix is 3.6cm at 21 weeks and my previous placental bleed could not be detected any longer. Great news! I met with a different specialist that I hadn't seen before; really didn't like him at all. He gave me a lecture about the importance of treating UTIs (which I haven't had in years), then sure enough, I got an infection over the weekend. I think he jinxed me. Got an antibiotic today; hope it clears up quickly.

jumama - 270 days ago.
babyinjuly congrats that is great

DReavega - 270 days ago.
Congrats babyinjuly! So happy for you and your family! Erin- 3.6 is still a great length, your doing awesone! Good luck Syrena! AFM, I had a sono today and was measuring 4.2, so I'm hoping my cervix stays long the next few weeks as I'm currently 19w2d

monika01 - 270 days ago.
Congratulation Baby in July~ you are an inspiration and light of hope for me.. i hope to be able to keep my little baby in the oven as long as you...viable in only 3 days i am super excited... it must be a beautoful experiance to be at home off bedrest ad wiht a baby in your arms...':O)

carlos-erin - 270 days ago.
Just had the baby and my cerclage checked. Baby is doing good. Dr. said the cervix is about 3.6 this time. Every time they measure it is a different length. Another ultrasound at the end of next week. So we will see what that measurement will be then.

syrenaspassion@yahoo.com - 270 days ago.

Hello Ladies!! Just wanted to let you know that Clara Elaine Greenlee was born on May 20th @ 12:44 AM. She was born at 37 weeks 2 days and weighed 6 lbs 14 oz. I totally thought she would weigh more than that :-). She is absolutely perfect and we are so happy that she is finally here!! We came home from the hospital today and it's nice to be home. Her big brother Henry doesn't quite know what to think but he did finally give her a kiss today :-). The whole delivery ended up being an emergency c-section because Clara's heart rate started to drop and the epidural was not numbing me completely. Long story short they had to go in very quickly and they had to give me some pretty strong stuff so I was out of it during and for quite a while after the surgery. Everything turned out great though! Also, she ended up being breach - no one had any idea! Sorry I'm rambling on but I am completely exhausted and going on about 10 hours of sleep in the past 3 days!! Love you girls and I couldn't have made it through this pregnancy and bedrest without your support! I hope everyone is doing well and I will try to check in soon!!

DReavega - 272 days ago.
Thank you ladies, I have cried and luckily hubby has been very supportive. Last nigt I had a dream I had a full term little girl who was happy and healthy and beautiful, so I'm going to try and cling to that for positive vibes. I think the feeling of being powerless is what drives me nuts, when I went into labor with Amaya I just felt like such a failure, and this time I need to remind myself I do have power, the cerclage, the br, the weekly appointments, etc....i think God threw me a bone because I poss my loss milestone before Amayas birthday and a few days before her birthday I hit 24 weeks

ddhenry1220 - 272 days ago.
DReavega-the only comfort I found was in knowing that God is in control! I lost my twins at 18 weeks and I am now 20 weeks, 2 days. God knows what's best for us even if we don't always agree with his decisions. Just trust and believe that he didn't bring you this far to leave you.

monika01 - 273 days ago.
dreavega~ it is really hard emotionally , mentally and even can be physically draining... For myself i cried Alot! was unable to relax had really bad dreams... i just kept telling myself that i need to stay hopeful, pray if you do, and just try to remember that you are doing everything in your power to keep baby safe and well. That was the most comforting for me to write and think about the fact that i am really doing the best i can... write read it say it andmost importantly tell your spouse your concerns... i told my DH often and cried at night the most , he often told me that all will be fine but after a couple days just held me and passed tissue. Thats what is hard with being pg after a loss that 'time' is harder then any ohter.. i worried for a wk longer after we passed our milestone its been over 3 wks and m finally being to be happy . but the worry lingures.. I wish you strength and health to you and baby! <3

DReavega - 273 days ago.
Hi ladies, I have a question for those of you who have experienced a loss prior to this pregnancy. I m three weeks from the gestation that I lost my daughter and am starting to develop crazy anxiety about it.... I just wanted to know if anything brought you comfort as you got to that milestone or if you have any suggestions for distractions?? Thanks!

monika01 - 273 days ago.
ddhenry ~ yay glad all is well.. mine is 3.5...~~!!! it is so awsome.. i was 2.0 at 19 .. now at 23+1 i am 3.5 ... it is amazing and so uplifting... ..looks like we are gonna make it! go bedrest!

ddhenry1220 - 273 days ago.
Monika- I was in the hospital yesterday for the same thing. I knew it wasnt the baby but they had to make sure anyway. I was sent home with a prescription for Protonix, which seems to be working. BTW Cervix is still more than 4cm.

monika01 - 273 days ago.
So i ended up going to my ob b/c i was really in pain like my stomach was exploding pain... she got me to go to the Mternity at the hospital turns out i was very dehydrated... they kept me over night and got u/s in the morning ... no gall blader stones :O) thank goodness. turns out i have extreme acid .. so i go tan iv with med and a perscription just incase it happens again... all good now and at home... nice to be at home, guess that ready bad needs to get ready..:O)

monika01 - 274 days ago.
dreavega~its not growing pains...it is my stomach above baby and the top part of my belly. it is intense and i thought srinking some tea would help but it sems to get worse. alot worse... Mymom told me i could have a tummy virus b/c i had a cold sore and have been to the hospital laatley so i could have caught something.

DReavega - 274 days ago.
Is it possibly growing pains? If not or your nervous and not sure you know my motto, call the doctor :) my poor doctor probably dreads my calls but aw well!

monika01 - 274 days ago.
I am having really stomach pain... it feels like rocks stabbing me on the inside and hurts to drink ater.. i felt baby move a couple time s but i have been up all night.... getting worried pain is just below my BB above baby area, though i feel like my whole tummy is rock hard.. i dont get it i know i am not constipated ????
