Well Im new to this site.. Im 29 and 8weeks along with my 5th preganancy but my 4th baby had an ectopic last year due to an IUD which was suppose to be pretty effective well my boyfriends lil swimmer got in somehow so not very effective and becoz of the IUD it prevented the baby from getting into the uterus.. Sense I did alot of research and to find oput alot of women have gotten pregnant on the IUD and had ectopic pregnancies.. So anyone even considering the IUD I strongly discourage you not to get it..

Hey everyone. This is my first comment and not even sure if i am doing it in the right spot! :) According to my last period I would be 13-weeks today, but had an ultrasound done today and she said I was 13-weeks and 6 days. The little guy wasn't hardly moving around if even at all, and that concerned me a little. Shouldn't they be movin all over the place by now?? The heartbeat at my appt. yesterday was about 150 and today it was about 142. Would love to hear any thoughts any of you may have! Thanks to all!

Hi people im new ,as of today and just getting used to this site!!! Im 8 and 3 days pregnant, We ve had ivf/icsi, and wonderfully im pregnant!!! the 1st time!!. On thursday last week i had my 1st scan, gestational/viability scan, everything was going well they found a heartbeat and fetal pole, however, when spoke to the consultant he said things did nt look good, because the baby was only measuring 6 weeks and i should be measuring 8 weeks, so got another scan next thursday to see if my baby has grown any more, the measurment on the scan was 5mm and they said it should have been 10mm!!!! so im so scared at the moment of losing my much loved and adored little smudge, im checking myself everytime i go to the loo, some one please comment and try and put my mind at rest!!! thankyou! xx

I just had my 6 week ultrasound yesterday and they said they could not detect any fetal heartbeats. I went through IVF and there are 2 gestational sacs. Has anyone else not had a fetal heartbeat at 6 weeks only to find out everything was okay later? I am having an another ultrasound in 3 days. If they don't see heartbeats then they may advise me to have a D&C. Thoughts anyone?

Localgirl808 - 637 days ago.
So I had an ultrasound yesterday and the Nurse kinda made it sound as if something might be wrong. Then to top it off, I got a call to schedule another ultra sound in 2 weeks. Been worried all day and don't know if I should be. Has anyone else gone through this?

katie418 - 669 days ago.
had my 14 week ultrasound last week and the baby was laying on it's stomach the whole time. arms and legs moving but would not flip over at all. I showed my friend the picture and she said shes never seen an ultrasound picture with a baby laying on its belly. Anyone else have this happen?

eweis - 676 days ago.
I was told with my daughter at 12 weeks I was having a girl, and well she is definitely a girl. I just got lucky that she was in the right position to tell I guess. This is the earliest I was told you can find out if your dr office has the proper machines to do so, and they can read ultrasounds well. Hoping for a boy this time but we will see.

danilynn - 679 days ago.
That's funny! Well, I was sure it was a girl- but the ultrasound said boy. I don't know if I just convinced myself well enough or what- because I am still thinking it's just GOTTA be a girl!! Maybe I'm just too hopeful.

AMK1984 - 679 days ago.
danilynn - YES this does happen quite frequently, I believe though the 3d/4d ultrasounds are a little more accurate. A good friend of mine was told during 2 different ultrasounds that her baby was going to be a girl, she bought, planned and painted for a and it ended up being a boy. She was very fortunate though because her friend was also expecting and her friend had been told that she was expecting a boy and it turned out to be a girl so they ended up swapping alot of stuff.....I know crazy to think it happened to 2 people who were friends and pregnant at the same time!!!! This was about 10 years ago before 3d ultrasounds were so common, Good luck!

danilynn - 679 days ago.
Anyone have an ultrasound and be told it was a boy and then have it end up being a girl? Does that ever happen??

rochelle86 - 688 days ago.
Hi was just wondering if anyone could tell me the gedner of my ultrasound, i was told boy, is this what u would say also (i know it can not be guaranteed and this is just for fun) Thanks here is the link to the pic linkhttp://i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm200/r_tritton/gender.jpglink

faz - 697 days ago.
Bri an Megs83...thank you so much, you both have really put my mind at ease. x

Bri - 697 days ago.
faz - I know it's hard not to worry. Your baby was probably just sleeping. My first was a really good sleeper and still is!! He only moved about an hour out of the day while in the womb. My second was a wake up call for what is 'normal'. HAHA! He never stopped moving. I wouldn't worry. As long as his heartrate was normal and the tech wasn't concerned then your baby is probably fine.

faz - 697 days ago.
can anyone help i had a scan at 11 wk and 1 at 13wk and on both scan's baby didn't look like it was moving this is my second baby and my first was bouncing off the wall's on all scan's should i be worried i'm now 15wk and can't stop worrying!

baby2photo - 706 days ago.
Did anyone find out what they're having at 13 wks? if yes, can u please check my baby photo and tell me what u think..boy or girl?

Sanz - 717 days ago.
What's the earliest that they can tell the sex of the baby?

newbb - 728 days ago.
i was told at 13 weeks and 4 days i was having a boy

gwyn30 - 729 days ago.
I had a girlfriend that found out at 14 weeks that she was having a girl. Apparently they can detect the early growth of the bone in that area that a boy will never have. It was reconfirmed at 20 weeks that she was indeed having a girl.

kelseylovesyou42 - 733 days ago.
I got my 3rd ultrasound today! I am only 13 weeks 5 days but they told me the sex and said they are 80% sure! So baby girl maaayybee??? Anyone else know the babys sex that early?

BAMBILEE - 733 days ago.
I WENT TODAY AND AM SUPPOSE TO BE 7WKS 4 DAYS BUT THERE WAS ONLY A SAC AND YOLK. U/S LAST WEEK HAD A FETAL POLE, NOT THERE TODAY. DR SAID HE IS 99% SURE OF FUTURE MISCARRAGE. I CAN'T BELIEVE HIM YET. IT WAS MY 3RD U/S AND IN EVERYONE THEY SAID I WAS A WEEK TO 2 WEEKS LESS THAN I KNEW I WAS.

farritah - 734 days ago.
has anyone lived this or experience anythign similar thinking ure certain week and the us telling u ure less ???

farritah - 734 days ago.
hi shan mac ! the same thing happend to me today i was supposed to be 6 weeks but they say im 5 weeks 2 days! they only saw a sac and a yolk, they scheduled me for another one in 10 days! we are on the same boat!!!

3rdgoround - 742 days ago.
CaitlynM , there is no reason to worry if you think you have a tilted uterus. I also have a tilted uterus and have had two perfect babies with not developmental issues, and hoping to do it agian in round three.

*Precious.Moments* - 748 days ago.
I only had one ultrasound.. I had mine at 21 weeks.. All looked good so there was no reason to have more.. Good luck to you though! Hope everything works for ya..

lexi101 - 748 days ago.
CaitlynM -I think it depends on your doctor. I've had 3 done. the first at 8 weeks and the second at 10 then my last one was at 19wks. I don't know if I'll get another one after this. Most ppl get one before their 12wks check the baby and get a EDD and then another around 20 weeks.
