Mama-of-2boys - 1076 days ago.
I'm 35 weeks pregnant and I have put on 15 pounds through out my whole pregnancy. This time I have really watched myself, I eat when I'm hungry and dont starve myself but I eat until I'm full and not stuffed. With my first son I couldnt get enough food I would eat all day long and not be able to help it. I gained a lot of weight with my first one so with this one I'm trying to make sure that I dont gain too much. I'm having my c section at 38 weeks so I dont want to put on too much more weight. Good luck ladies

3blessings - 1076 days ago.
I'm almost 6 months pregnant with #2 and I haven't gained a pound...but then again I became preggo with #2 when my 1st was 6 months old. So I think I just have extra baby weight from the previous pregnancy. But I hope that I don't gain a lot!

imommy2be - 1076 days ago.
this will make everyone feel better!! with my first baby i went from 135-213 and within 9month i was back 2 133lbs so the weight does come off fast!! My daughter will be a year old on march 24th and im 3months pregnant this time im trying to control my eating and eat healthy i didnt like being so huge!! heehee!! ok well good luck 2 everyone!! =)

gamama31791 - 1078 days ago.
I am 32 weeks preg and have gained a total of 8 lbs for entire pregnancy so far. Well dr was concerned so much about my low weight gain that i was able to get an u/s yesterday, yeah! My baby weighs at 32 weeks 5 lbs and 4 oz's. Needless to say we were both shocked. Especially since i havent gained much and Im not even showing big. I think the reason why I only gained 8 lbs is that I had gastric bypass surgery 4 yrs ago and not able to eat good. although i talk to other moms that had the same surgery and they have packed on the weight. well either way im glad that i have gained a whole lot and apparently its not bothering her any since she's so big. lol. hopefully she wont get much bigger b/c i really dont want to have a BIG baby even though its in my family to have big ones.

happyforest - 1078 days ago.
jlevine- ya, you will lose it all!! the baby will probly be at least 7 which leaves only 10 and when you count fluid and the placenta that doesnt really leave anything to loose except maybe a pound or two!!

ermsmom - 1079 days ago.
I'm 19 +5 weeks and I haven't gained any weight. Every now and then the scale goes up a pound but the next time I weigh myself it's back down. I think it's a bit strange that I haven't gained at all but after my last one I know that it mainly came on in the end. I know that I'm eating enough and I'm exercising but not enough to kill myself. If I haven't put anything on 10 weeks from now then I'll be really nervous!

jlevine - 1079 days ago.
i am 33 almost 34 weeks pregnant and have gained only 17 pounds and am going to deliver at 38 weeks by induction..... due to having to travel over the easter holiday. what do you think the chances are that i will lose all my baby weight?

KayandRysMoM - 1079 days ago.
I only gained 13-14 lbs during my entire pregnancy and i delivered at 39.5 weeks. I had a very healthy 6lb 9oz baby and lost all of the weight immediatly.

aussiemumma - 1079 days ago.
Well I am currently 24+5 weeks pregnant and have only gained 6 lbs. I was 132lbs before pregnancy and of normal weight. I don't diet at all during pregnancy and eat plenty of good food so I don't know why I haven't gained much weight! I am a little worried but I guess there is nothing much i can do! Has anyone else not put on as much weight as they would like at their stage?

mommy to2angels - 1080 days ago.
I am 32, 5'5' and pre-preggo 130 lbs. Perfect. I've gained 6 lbs already and I'm 10 weeks pregnant. I am not worried. I am a VERY fit person. When I weighed 115-120lbs(at 25), I was classified as 'underweight'. I fought very hard to put on 10 lbs and KEEP it on! 10 lbs makes a difference! I LOOK so much healthier! So every woman is different. Many things can affect your outcome! You could have wider hips....big BB's and such! Be happy with you and don't worry about your weight while your pregnant unless it will directly result in harming you or your baby. Oh yea.......I've NEVER seen my bum jiggle like this before! WOW, does 6lbs make a difference! And when did my thighs start touching???

ermsmom - 1092 days ago.
I found a neat little calculator on another website that tells you how much you should have gained for each week and if you've gained too much or too little. If you want to check it out here's the link http://www.thebabycorner.com/tools/pregnancy/calculators/weightcalculator.php

happyforest - 1096 days ago.
i hope i didnt come off wrong in my previous post--- of course if you are overweight and your health is in jeapordy then i can see why you may worry about your weight, but if not then i hate seeing people so down on themselves! pregnancy is a time of beauty, and yes our bodies change and it is hard but it is worth every pound. here is a great site i wanted to share. i hope that everyone goes to it and it helps you realize you arent alone in this journey and that you are beautiful!! www.shapeofamother.com

crazymonkey - 1106 days ago.
i am happy. i went to the dr. yesterday (its a GIRL) and im 20 weeks and have gained 11 pnds which is great since that puts me at 196. i am doing a lot better than i thought i would. i have more reason to keep the rest of my life healthy and my weight under control(and get my weight down after hailey gets here)

happyforest - 1115 days ago.
i dont think you can go exactly by that calculation. it says im UNDERWEIGHT and dont think i am! i am 5'6' 110 lb and i think it looks good not underwieght.

TabithaDashae - 1115 days ago.
OMG it says that Im Overweight. BUt i ONLY Weigh 135 pounds. :( maybe I am

amber-d - 1117 days ago.
I have gained too much weight at this point. I am 27 weeks 6 days and gained atleast 30 pounds. I go to the doctor this week and once again am dreading the scale. I am wondering if there is a way to lose some weight at this point (the weight I should not have put on) and still keep the baby healthy? I was not eatting unhealthy but to be honest I got so frustrated about a week ago over this that all this week i have given into every craving because I figure, why not? I'm gaining regardless. I know this is wreckless thinking and don't really want to gain much more if I can help it. I want to be healthy and most of all i want a healthy baby. Please, any suggestions I would appreciate. I am starting to really get down about this! I fear that I am going to get weighed Thursday and just start crying right then and there.

atmnstyl - 1117 days ago.
iam at 15 weeks and i have lost 6 pounds so far and i have not been sick yet ......well ian still brestfeeding my 7 mo. old so may be thats why

dinahmite425 - 1120 days ago.
well, i an 23 weeks pregnant i have not gained any weight, well my beginning weight was 182 then i wnet down to 174 then i gained 3 pounds and went up to 177 i am currently 177 so i weigh 5 lbs less than when i got pregnant. my first pregnancy i gained 29 pounds during my pregnancy and only about 6 of those lbs stayed on me. My ultrasound statd the baby was exactly what she was supposed to weigh. I dont diet I trully have no appetite i have to make myself eat., but honestly i dont want to gain more than 15-20 lbs at the most, many women think when your pregnant your supposedto eat like a pig to make the baby healthy all you need when your pregnant is 300 extra calories a day, that can be a granola bar and a cup of juice not a gallon of ice cream!!

happyforest - 1121 days ago.
girls, dont worry so much!! i gained 40 lb with my baby, he is 2 months old and i am really happy with how i look. i wear a bigger jeans size now, but thats cause of my hip bones, not my belly! i gained about a pound per week. i was 110 pre preg and 150 when he was born!! at his one month appt i was 127 but i dont know what i am now. im not trying to get back to 110, im happy with watever i am. i havent worked out or anything, i dont have time for that! but picking up a heavy baby all day is quite a work out in itself!

Christine G - 1121 days ago.
I'm almost at month 5 and I've already gained 18lbs, I'm quite worried but I'll know when I go for my next apointment. I'm just hoping that I'll be able to shed these pounds plus the extra after I give birth!

chiibaby - 1123 days ago.
Guys!!!!! im only 10 weeks pregnant and ive put on 5lbs already ! is this normal ? :S

MelC82 - 1123 days ago.
Well, I have been a little worried lately. I am a petite framed woman and i am on my 2nd pregnancy. My starting weight was at 110 lbs (I am 5'2) tho so I am 'normal.' The only problem is; is that i am already showing and the scale says i have gained 5-6 lbs!!!! I am only in week 9. By the way this is going I am going to double in size. I havent been eating a ton of food so I am not sure why I am gaining so quickly? I didnt show at all with my first until i was 6 months, so this is quite a change for me. : (

lucy01 - 1124 days ago.
im 2.5 kgs under what im ment to be :(

hottet1234 - 1125 days ago.
yup, I'm week 21, and I've already gained 30 lbs UGGGG . Pre pregnancy is was 136, now I am 165... I can't help it! I'm not eating crappy! Everytime i go to the doctor and they weigh me I want to cry

babyeddiesmom - 1125 days ago.
LOL i gained 52-54 lbs with my 1st, but within 3 wks I lost like 35 lbs!!! I am 10 lbs overweight and am pregnant again....I say gain enough that YOU feel appropriate and with alittle walking and healthy food everyday after the baby you will get ur figure back in due time. Enjoy being pregnant and dont worry too much about weight. :)
