the length of your menstrual cycle in days, and

The days given are based on the average. Take plus or minus 3 days to be sure, also make sure you've read the following note.

Note that you are most fertile around the ovulation, the day your egg is released. This doesn't mean that you aren't fertile on other days! You can get pregnant at any day of your cycle:

Guidelines for getting pregnant -- or avoiding pregnancy -- usually assume an average woman is fertile between days 10 and 17 of her menstrual cycle. But researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have demonstrated what some accidentally pregnant women may have long suspected:

Only about 30 percent of women actually have their fertile window entirely within that timespan.

In fact, the researchers found, there is hardly a day in the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile. Women in this study were of prime reproductive age (most between 25 and 35) when the menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility should be even more unpredictable for teenagers or for women approaching menopause

hey all i had a cone biopsy done a week ago does anyone know how long it will take to get pregnant? or if its easier or harder to get pregnant? any insight on this wld be great... i kno i can have sex for at least 2 weeks i was just wondering thank you

Emily82, the best time to test is 14DPO, some get a positive at 10 dpo, but its not always the case. Good Luck.

i had my last start date on feb 14. for the last week and a few days i have been having cramp like pains and little bit of lower back pains some discharging. am i gonna have a baby or am i just way to stressed?

mommyryan, Thank you so much for the tip on robitussin, i didnt know that. Im going to try and get it this afternoon and start taking it by 26 March coz that will be my 6th day towards ovulation. That's if i will ovulate then.Other medications like clomid and OPKs are kind of difficult (though not impossible) to get in the location i am. Baby dust to all my ttc budies! You ladies are just the best!

oh btw ladies, one more thing...i read that taking robitussin during ovulation helps :) creates more favorable cm! who knew!

well......af just knocked on my door, right on time. like clock work. i am thinking that maybe just maybe i will take this time to get my weight loss back on track, get to working out on my new (and only used ONCE) treadmil.....and stop obsessing. this is becoming unhealthy. angelic is right this cant be good for our emotional well being. i am going to let go and let God take over. HE is the one who creates life.....so yes we will continue 'trying' but i have to calm down. i want it to be good memories and a relaxing adventure. besides....if i conceived next time, it would be due around december 21 . i always go at least a week early because im csection only....so maybe i can have my winter baby after all.

Mommyryan, dont give up hope..I sometimes think that this site is what is doing my head in, always looking for a sign that I am pregnant or watching what others say about their ways of getting their BFP..I think I will also take a break,if only from this site and see how things go from there. Stressing about AF arriving each month and watching and waiting cant be good for us mentally.

you know what i dont know what to do anymore. i have been SO sick this week. last night i was so sick to my stomach i couldnt stand up hardly. and im so tired.....every day its the same ole thing.......big fat stinking negative. af is due today. and today, first morning urine, and BFN. if i was pg it would have showed by now. i am starting to freak out. granted we havent tried very long but we should have definitely conceived this time.we did everything right. af isnt here yet but i ALWAYS start exactly 14 days dpo. she should be here by tonight. i have a terrible back ache. but oddly enough my boobs seem very full which never happens

I think i am CD3 today..will start a new round of Clomid tomorrow after I take a PG test in the morning. I am only spotting very lightly, but if last month is anything to go by then this is just what my AF is going to be like now.

Awww, mfarmer!! Sorry! Make sure you keep us updated on where you are and what you are up to. I'm sure that everything will work out just the way it is intended! You'll find a new job and get settled in, lose the rest of the weight that you are working on and then BAM - you'll be preggers in no time. Especially when the stress of it is all gone. Good luck and don't forget about us:)

Kent- I am not pregnant... yet again... :( I started AF ummm Saturday...I give up.. I have other things to worry about tright now... I have to find a new Job ASAP and I didnt want to start a new job while being pregnant... so I am putting off getting pregnant. :( I wish this would have been my month... but I cant take another bfn right now
