Ovulation Calendar

When are you ovulating?

Ovulation Calendar / Pregnancy planner
When are the best days to try for a baby? (Today is Friday, February 17 2012)
First day of your cycle:
Menstrual Cycle in days:

About this ovulation calendar
Enter the first day of your cycle,
the length of your menstrual cycle in days, and
press the `Tell me the dates!` button.
The days given are based on the average. Take plus or minus 3 days to be sure, also make sure you've read the following note.

Note that you are most fertile around the ovulation, the day your egg is released. This doesn't mean that you aren't fertile on other days! You can get pregnant at any day of your cycle:

`Safe` Days In Menstrual Cycle
Guidelines for getting pregnant -- or avoiding pregnancy -- usually assume an average woman is fertile between days 10 and 17 of her menstrual cycle. But researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have demonstrated what some accidentally pregnant women may have long suspected:

Not safe to assume! Only about 30 percent of women actually have their fertile window entirely within that timespan.

In fact, the researchers found, there is hardly a day in the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile. Women in this study were of prime reproductive age (most between 25 and 35) when the menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility should be even more unpredictable for teenagers or for women approaching menopause

i am seriously confused right now. so two days ago, i had my usual 'ovulation' cm. mine is thick, mix between egg white and rubbercement sorry tmi. but tonight im going pee and i see this other stuff. clear and super duper elastic, thinner in consistancy than my other stuff i get. this stretched about 2 inches when i moved my fingers apart. what in the world.

angelic32 - 345 days ago.
Lilm, the only real way of knowing by taking a PG test Pee on a stick), or via blood work.

angelic32 - 345 days ago.
ahh the dreaded 2 WW, I hate this time of month.

Lilm - 345 days ago.
Hi...i have a question; it is my first time TTC and I am suppose to get my cycle today...I NEVER missed my cycle for a day. It is possible that I am pregnant?? This is hard! Thanks for your help

mommyryan - 345 days ago.
mfarmer. awww. hang in there girl. i am so confused as to how this all works. it boggles me . i have never 'tried' to get pg, it just has happened. i have never before tracked my cycles. ugh. if i dont get pg this time, next month we will just bd 4 days before (every day i guess?) the day of and the day after. but that will more than likely end up being a boy. then again, we will have whatever God has planned for us. it really at the end of the day doesnt matter and its out of our control. i just so badly want another girl. i never had a sister, and i would love for my daughter to have a sister. and if we have a girl, it would even us out. 2 girls 2 boys. lol and im not so sure i can handle another boy....my boys are handfuls!!! my daughter was a breeze compared to these two. i just cant wait to be pregnant again i love it.....maybe we can get pg around the same time and we can be in the week to weeks together, that would be neat !

mfarmer - 346 days ago.
liz- thanksss :) Mommyryan- I dont think I will even have a shot at a dec baby... the way my cycle has been! AF was Feb 14th... Hoever I Oed on the 7th, and say I dont get preggers this month I think AF will be due at the very end of this month... so I would O again in April... Just not sure :/

elizabeth7heaven - 346 days ago.
spreading more baby dust :)

mommyryan - 346 days ago.
angelic, we bd 2 days before i ovulated. hoping it worked. but if not i can always try for a christmas baby. if i did conceive, then according to calculators my due date will be nov 28 and if i conceive next time, it will be december 26th so im just gonna sit back and enjoy , either one is fine with me (i would prefer the december one , ive always wanted a christmas baby) now i dont feel like theres so much pressure. we are also trying to have a girl, so thats a bit complicated. you cant bd too close to ovulation because the boy swimmers are faster. the girls are slower but live longer. heres to hoping our theories worked.

angelic32 - 346 days ago.
goodluck mommyryan, I am CD15 and im pretty sure I O'd early, by 2 days. I have had really sore bb's for the past 24hrs (sorry if tmi), we bd only twice this cycle as hubby is working away (5th and 8th) and just hope that is enough. If not there is always next month.

mommyryan - 346 days ago.
hoping this is our month!

mfarmer - 347 days ago.
Mommyryan- Good Luck! Our baby names are Aiden Jace for a boy and not sure for a girl... maybe Alexis Jaye... I dont know..

mommyryan - 347 days ago.
i spoke way too soon today. i just ovulated. didnt feel it this month but got my 'marker' huge glop of rubber cement/egg white which i know for a fact is when i ovulate. so im exactly cd 14. we bd sat night around 1am. so we will hold off, we are trying for a girl. if we bd today we are more likely to have boys. we have 2 little boys ages 1 and 2 and our little girl is 7. since we plan on this being our last baby, we reallllly want a girl. a christmas baby girl....sigh i would be so happy. ofcourse if the Lord gives us a baby boy we will love him just the same lol. i really love the name Hunter. for a girl i like amelia grace or madison grace. well here is to waiting. i start exactly 14 days from ovulating so the 21st is my week to wait til. my bday is the 29th .

mfarmer - 347 days ago.
Kent- LOL I am kinda!! I didnt want to do it every day but I dont want to miss the egg either!! :/.... Sooo we BD these days CD 7,11,14,15, 20 (2 times and I got a post OPK in the AM and PM) , 21 (Post OPK that AM~Neg OPK in the PM; BD that night) and I might BD again tonight... not sure it would help... What do yall think??

kentsmommy - 347 days ago.
mrscook - I know, I don't log on during the weekend so I miss you every week. Lol! Yay FARMER!!!! BD your brains out sister. Ha ha! MommyRYAN - I used OPK's for months and got BFN's after BD'ing ever single day for 6 days, in December I didn't make it to the drugstore and me and DH BD'd every other day all month long and now I'm 12 wks along so the method definitely works! I do think every day was too much for DH in the sperm production area especially since he's a good bit older than me. So I think it actually helped us to go every other day. Funny thing is, using the OPK's I normally O'd around CD 23. In December I must have O'd right on day 14 because my 6 wk ultrasound and my LMP lead to the same due date. I know that my son and the baby that I lost were also conceived on day 14 so start early:) Good luck!

mommyryan - 347 days ago.
cd 14 and no sign of ovulation. i dont have the money for the strips so im relying on my body to tell me . we didnt bd last night . weve done it every other day i think. we did plan on doing it every day but i think i read that the sperm count is lower if you do that? and i dont want it to feel like a chore. lol. i desperately want a christmas baby

mrscook - 347 days ago.
Liz-I can't believe your 22 wks already!! Time is flying!! MFARMER-good news for the BFP on the OPK!! Bring on the BDing!!!! YAY!!

mrscook - 347 days ago.
KENTS--its funny but it looks like as soon as I go into another week, you move out..because I am reading your comments for the week!! HA...It is great to see a familiar name!! Love it!!

Allynne7 (Jaime) - 348 days ago.
Well that's crappy news as I use the first few days as days when we don't have to use contraception. I guess I'll be keeping an eye open for AF.

angelic32 - 348 days ago.
Fingers and toes crossed for you mfarmer..I really hope this is your month.

mfarmer - 348 days ago.
Angelic- thank you :) I did get my positive opk! Got it yesterday morning and evening, and again when I got up! We bd 2 times yesterday, not sure the dh had to many little men 2 hrs after we had bd, but hey I will take any extra lol! We are going to try to keep it going until tues! So I am pretty sure I totaly missed the egg last month, but I think I got it this month!!

angelic32 - 348 days ago.
If i go by the last lot of spotting that I had, it would make me CD12ish, and going by my CM I think thats about right, although I can not be 100% sure. The BD has begun. Best of luck to all whom are TTC, and special baby dust to you mfarmer.

hollyday - 349 days ago.
know i am blessed to have my children,i was a teenage mom and its been a long road, after having my last daughter who will be three in june to my surprize i long to provide her with a sibling close in age with the same father.my older kids have the same dad (diffrent then my youngest)and there is a big gap between them and my youngest,about9 yrs...if i concieve now they wld be three and a half years apart,,wld they still be close?dnt even knw if im going to try but my heart aches for my lil girl to have that close relationship with a sibli close in age

mommyryan - 349 days ago.
mfarmer, im sorry. my ovulation is so out of whack that we have to bd every day just in case. i know i usually feel it but what if i dont for some reason? but then again is it bad to bd everyday? i think i heard that the sperm count isnt as high. eeek. i feel like this is alot of pressure. its only our first actual month of actively trying, but its giving me alot of anxiety. which i guess could make me ovulate weird or be late. ugh. what to do. im on cd 12. last month i didnt o until like cd 23 or something crazy like that

mfarmer - 350 days ago.
I am kinda upset.... CD19 and I still havent Oed... so I am not sure if I will even O this month to have a chance at a Christmas baby!

mfarmer - 350 days ago.
Kent, Liz, Cook- I am glad yall are doing great!! :):):)
