The days given are based on the average. Take plus or minus 3 days to be sure, also make sure you've read the following note.

Note that you are most fertile around the ovulation, the day your egg is released. This doesn't mean that you aren't fertile on other days! You can get pregnant at any day of your cycle:

Guidelines for getting pregnant -- or avoiding pregnancy -- usually assume an average woman is fertile between days 10 and 17 of her menstrual cycle. But researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have demonstrated what some accidentally pregnant women may have long suspected:

Only about 30 percent of women actually have their fertile window entirely within that timespan.

In fact, the researchers found, there is hardly a day in the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile. Women in this study were of prime reproductive age (most between 25 and 35) when the menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility should be even more unpredictable for teenagers or for women approaching menopause

Awww, that's great LIZ!! I have my 12 wk appt on Tuesday. I can't wait to hear that heartbeat! I don't think I'll have another scan until 17 - 20 wks. Sigh of relief that wk 12 is only 2 days away!! I think we are going to spread the word next weekend after we get to hear the heartbeat. I've been very careful not to slip to any friends. In this 'facebook' era I'm sure that someone would post it and ruin my big news!

went to dr. Today they did another ultrasound. Baby girl's heartbeat is 158 and she weighed a little over 15 ounces! Almost a pound already. I will be 22 weeks monday. Glad to hear everyone is okay as well. Miss talking to you all. Big hugs.

KENTS-still on here girl!! :-) I'm 1 week behind you! I'm scheduled for a c-section on Sept 13, but am still going by the due date of Sept 26, so I am in week 11 tomorrow! I believe BOOM is right behind me...MFARMER,ANGELIC,LOVEMYANGEL--hang in there & lots of babydust to all the TTC on here!!!

Not that I'd change a thing, but it is going to be an uncomfortable one I'm sure. You're comment is making me nervous. LOL! MRSCOOK - Are you still checking in? How are you?? BOOM - How bout you? mfarmer, im still 'dry' i think. i meant that when i 'o' it looks like rubber cement, sometimes tinged a light pink or brown. so thats when i know exactly when i have o'd. and its usually on my right side, because i can feel it. almost like a sharp pain. but i read that only 20 percent of women actually 'feel' it. yay lucky me. lol

Hello ladies, im still lurking in the back grounds, not sure when AF is due, let alone O so im totally out this month, who knows maybe April is my month like last time.. mfarmer i want a december/jan baby too. were going to bd alot until i get my ovulation cm (tmi but mine looks like rubber cement not egg egg whites, and i know thats exact time of ovulation because i mark it. i ovulated 2 weeks late last month which is why af was so late, they say you start 14 days after ovulation and i was on the DOT) does anyone know why we ovulate so late sometimes and other times we are 'normal' as in the middle of our cycle? its all very confusing. our plan was to go away and ttc but since af was late, i was spotting on the first day of our getaway and even though we did bd, i doubt anything came of that. my birthday is the 29 th , i hope to have a nice bfp around that time for a birthday present. 2 of my kids have been spring babies 9both in may) and one in the fall (september) so i realllllly want a winter bundle. lol. plus i would really really love to not be hugely pg in the hot fl summer in my 3rd trimester. i did that with the last one when i delivered in september and i thought i was gonna die lol.

Liz- i am good! just wishing and praying that this is my month! I want a Dec baby! My last angel was suppose to be a Dec baby!.... Well I still havent Oed yet... OPKs are still a neg, I missed testing on CD12 and 13, but I BD on CD 11 and 14 So I am not worried to much... I just hope I do O and at least have a chance at a Dec baby!

I was wondering about ovulation after a m/c. I conceived last month, went to the Dr. on 2/10. I was 4 1/2 weeks, but on 2/11, I started bleeding and after a blood test, it was confirmed that I m/c. Would 2/11 be the first day of my next cycle, and would I use that date to base my next ovulation date?

MFARMER--I know EXACTLY what you are going through!! Me and DH did the same thing. He became so stressed about 'performing', it ended up becoming a chore more than making love. He didn't want to know when I was ovulating with the OPKs..he just wanted it to happen...after the pressure was off, he was ok. We even went to the dr and got his cholesterol checked and everything thinking something was wrong, but it was just stress...just relax and have fun with it.

So as I said Af arrived, but as soon it arrived she left again after a mere 36hrs...im stuffed as I know what is going on.. Chatter..WAHOO on the twins...so mega exciting for you.xx
