Ovulation Calendar

Ovulation Calendar

When are you ovulating?

Ovulation Calendar / Pregnancy planner
When are the best days to try for a baby? (Today is Saturday, November 21 2009)
First day of your cycle:
Menstrual Cycle in days:

About this ovulation calendar
Enter the first day of your cycle,
the length of your menstrual cycle in days, and
press the `Tell me the dates!` button.
The days given are based on the average. Take plus or minus 3 days to be sure, also make sure you've read the following note.

Note that you are most fertile around the ovulation, the day your egg is released. This doesn't mean that you aren't fertile on other days! You can get pregnant at any day of your cycle:

`Safe` Days In Menstrual Cycle
Guidelines for getting pregnant -- or avoiding pregnancy -- usually assume an average woman is fertile between days 10 and 17 of her menstrual cycle. But researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have demonstrated what some accidentally pregnant women may have long suspected:

Not safe to assume! Only about 30 percent of women actually have their fertile window entirely within that timespan.

In fact, the researchers found, there is hardly a day in the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile. Women in this study were of prime reproductive age (most between 25 and 35) when the menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility should be even more unpredictable for teenagers or for women approaching menopause

Babywishes - 53 days ago.
Hi Ladies, Im quite new over here... @5yrsWorththeWait, I too have been trying now for 5yrs and am hoping that this month will be my month... having been counting the days and clock and we seem to be on track... Baby dust to everyone and Good luck Ladies Babywishes xx

boopy - 54 days ago.
I would gladly take 4-5 years waiting if it meant my baby would stay in me til term. Having my daughter 13 weeks early was very difficult and I hope and pray I do not have to go through that again. It has been really challenging but in the same sense...it has made me stronger...I just hope that the next one stays in longer. :o( I have fibroids that grew so big and they were thought to have caused my early delivery....so the same situation is likely to happen again...I just hope it doesn't.

periza - 54 days ago.
well, we´re trying with the calendar this time. and by the end of the month we should see if it worked or we keep trying. but it´s a helpfull tool.

5yrsWorththeWait - 55 days ago.
I know that its hard for many of you to be waiting for months to a year. I waited 4yrs of trying til I found a Dr. who cared and got me on a low dose of fertility which I was on for 9months before I conceived. My hubby had been tested so I knew that the problem was with me. My daughter just turned a year in July and my cycles had returned when she was 2mo. old. We never used any protection after she was born and I just finished my 2nd round of fertility again. We will see how long it takes this time. I hope that you found this somewhat encouraging, even after 5yrs waiting it can happen.

boopy - 55 days ago.
Hi ladies. Well...we are in the TTC group...and so far it has not gone that well. Maybe because I'm writing this...it will happen this month. Anyways, I had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago...went 40 days and my cycle is very normal at 25-26 days like clockwork. Thought I would've gotten pregnant last month but I didn't. I know when I ovulate as I have very painful cysts each month...and it usually lasts for about 24 hours. Baby dancing on the day of ovulation is just too painful. I'm only on day 19 of my cycle....but I'm hoping to get a BFP in a few days. We BD'd last saturday and tuesday which apparently according to this ovulation calendar was right on point! I feel weird....kind of like I did with my daughter...even before a BFP showed up. Peeing a lot more....and twinges in my nipples. LOL. Baby dust to everyone trying....or just letting it happen. I think after this month I'm not going to 'try' anymore. xoxoxoxo

Proud Mommy of a Son!!! - 55 days ago.

Proud Mommy of a Son!!! - 55 days ago.
I am not TTC but I do have advice. I was so frustrated last year when i was trying to get pregnant . We tryed for 5mths and on the 6th i just said forget i am not going to get frustrated. So i stop coming to website and stop worrying when my next cycle and ovulation was going to arrive. GUESS what happen i got pregnant. Just a word of advice don't worry don't keep track just do the rythum method on the the 14 or 15 or 16th day after your period have sex or don't count at all just have sex through out the month. I promise this works. I am going to be TTC next year for baby number two.

nerdy - 55 days ago.

KatieNJohn - 62 days ago.
DRhoping2be...i would suggest waiting a few days and then testing again. My AF was due on the 20th. I took a test on the 17th and it was a BFN...took another on the 19th and it was positive. So i would wait and see what happens. BABY DUST TO YOU!!!!

1more* - 62 days ago.
im praying i get pregnant this month.OCT

DRhoping2be - 62 days ago.
Need advice...AF is due on the 23rd. I do not have any of my usual PMS symptoms. So, i took a test this morning and got a BFN. Do you think it was too early? Should I test again if AF does not come? I have been trying to pay more attention to my CM and CP. My vervix is soft, but I cannot tell the difference between open and closed. My CM is not dry and my CP has not changed. I am feeling so confused. Any advice or words of wisdom?
