Note that you are most fertile around the ovulation, the day your egg is released. This doesn't mean that you aren't fertile on other days! You can get pregnant at any day of your cycle:

But researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have demonstrated what some accidentally pregnant women may have long suspected:

In fact, the researchers found, there is hardly a day in the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile. Women in this study were of prime reproductive age (most between 25 and 35) when the menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility should be even more unpredictable for teenagers or for women approaching menopause

Just wondering if anyone can help me!!! I did a HPT yesterday night and there was a faint but visible line, i not convinced but my BF is. My last LMP was on 16 August so it says to do a HPT on the 15 September. So is this a negative reading or could i really be PG?

My best friend told me she was pregnant two weeks ago and i cried. i know it was mostly because i had been trying and have had no luck. I will admit I am very jealous and i times i resent the fact that she is pregnant and I'm not. I know it may make me seem horrible, but I cant help it

So i hope this doesn't make me sound horrible..but i got a phone call tonight that one of my best friends is Pregnant. And after i hung up the phone i immediately broke down and started crying. I don't want to feel jealous but i kind of do. I hope that doesn't sound terrible but i just needed to vent.

hello everybody. i have finally gotten my first AF after my m/c, the doctor gave us the go ahead to start trying again... last time after my m/c it took me a year to get pregnant again, we are hoping it doesn't take that long again this time. so wish you all the best fo luck!!!

Hi ladies!!! I am fairly new to this site but excited to be TTC for the first time. My partner and I have tried a few times (randomly), but this month we tried within what I believe was my most ferile time...wish me luck...I have to wait nearly two weeks before taking an HPT!!! hollyday - that's exactly how it goes: Day 1 is the first day of your period, and the last day of your cycle is the day before you get your next period. Hope that helps.

hi i m a bit confused as far as cycles for instance if u count day 1 of period as day one is cycle is day one of your next perio dday one again?or included in the number..like 27 instead of 28..does anyone get what i m asking,lol.lol

I have been TTC with my husband for nearly a year now, we hope that this is our month. We did the BD on the 5th, and plan to do it again tonight (the 7th)! I truly hope we can get pregnant just for one more child. We want a son before I get too much older. There is a hightened risk of cancer for me and I would prefer to see my child/ren grow up a bit before I get too sick!

Hi everyone! We have a son who will be 16 months next week and are just starting to try for our second! I've been off the pill for a few months and we where using contraceptive foam and now nothing :) our son was a wonderful surprise so i have no idea how long it could take but i hope it's quick!
