The days given are based on the average. Take plus or minus 3 days to be sure, also make sure you've read the following note.

Note that you are most fertile around the ovulation, the day your egg is released. This doesn't mean that you aren't fertile on other days! You can get pregnant at any day of your cycle:

Guidelines for getting pregnant -- or avoiding pregnancy -- usually assume an average woman is fertile between days 10 and 17 of her menstrual cycle. But researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have demonstrated what some accidentally pregnant women may have long suspected:

Only about 30 percent of women actually have their fertile window entirely within that timespan.

In fact, the researchers found, there is hardly a day in the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile. Women in this study were of prime reproductive age (most between 25 and 35) when the menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility should be even more unpredictable for teenagers or for women approaching menopause

Well thats it, hopefully my last AF for a while (if i'm lucky enough to conceive straight away like last time!). Fingers crossed i'll get caught straight away like last time..........i'm so excited at the thought of being pregnant again! x

thanks for all the congrats. i love yall! this week is crawling by. feels like im gonna be 4 weeks forever. i did make my appt with a high risk obgyn. my first appt is june 13th and ill be 8 weeks then. i am starting to feel the side effects more. like light headed and nausea, heartburn, SORE nipples sorry lol, back ache, INCREASED SENSE OF SMELL wow. not always a good thing to be able to smell as well as a hound dog.

i actually just got home from hospital. ended up i have a uti which is causing the horrendous back pain but the good news is i am officially 4 weeks pg! hcg is 97.

mrscook the heartburn gave it away. im like....something is up that and the appetite fit for an elephant....among other things that now make sense. but my back is hurting somethin terrible. like the back cramps i get before i start but kind of worse? and hellooooo mood swings. wow. its just like pms but magnified. thats why im still in shock. ive taken about 5 tests now. and my last one will be in the morn. for some reason all my lines are very light.

i wish you all the best. i feel very fortunate to have been blessed with another baby and even though i felt that 5 months took a long time, i know there are mamas out there who have waited alot longer. much baby dust to you. love you all

thank you :) i did another tonight just to be sure cause im a pee stick a holic and bfp. ive been real sick this week. some of my symptoms : nausea, extreme fatigue (slept til 1 pm yesterday) rediculous heartburn and i threw up because of it twice, headaches, and baaaaad mood swings. also my bbs are a little darker. twinges in ovaries or way down low. and CRAZYYYY appetite.

mommyryan: i got the same hpt when i was preggo with DS and both came out a faint positive then i got the EPT and those were a definate positive, bottom line, if the test says positive then its just that! :) hopefully this is it for u, let us know! ;)

AF showed up last night, FINALLY,lol. So I did manage to read the OPK right 2 weeks ago and guessed AF to arrive Thursday. One day off is not too bad for having no starting date to begin with:-) Guess it is a good thing hubby is out of town this week-end, he wouldnt want to be here anyway,lol! Can't wait to start comparing this calendar to the OPK's and see the results. FX you all get a BFP soon!

Kents. i tested yesterday and ....bfn. i bought another test today and i will test tomorrow and monday. af is due sunday or monday. so we will see. i feel horrible so i hope this is it.

I always got AF back around 4 weeks after all my deliveries. I thought for sure this AF would return then or even sooner since my loss was at 18 weeks, not a full term baby. That's what I get for ASSuming,lol.
