The days given are based on the average. Take plus or minus 3 days to be sure, also make sure you've read the following note.

Note that you are most fertile around the ovulation, the day your egg is released. This doesn't mean that you aren't fertile on other days! You can get pregnant at any day of your cycle:

Guidelines for getting pregnant -- or avoiding pregnancy -- usually assume an average woman is fertile between days 10 and 17 of her menstrual cycle. But researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have demonstrated what some accidentally pregnant women may have long suspected:

Only about 30 percent of women actually have their fertile window entirely within that timespan.

In fact, the researchers found, there is hardly a day in the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile. Women in this study were of prime reproductive age (most between 25 and 35) when the menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility should be even more unpredictable for teenagers or for women approaching menopause

lil.pigz - AF will probably show up next week for you at the 6 week mark. Mine came today which is 6 weeks and a day after I had a D&C. I've heard a lot of women say it took 6 weeks for them as well, so hoping it comes for you soon =)

My test day is Fri (son's 3rd bday). I tested yesterday just to see and it was negative. I don't really feel anything so I'm thinking it's still going to be negative on Fri as well.

not holding my breath for this month but i will find out for sure friday or saturday because af is due sunday. kinda feel crampy. we will see. i have had serious heartburn for like 4 days. it got so bad monday i actually had to throw up to get rid of the burning. ugh. ive been hot, like sweating alot. and my bbs are kinda sore guess. i hate waiting.

I was playing around with the calendar here..wishful thinking I guess. I am still in limbo waiting on AF after my loss, 5 weeks now. Going off that date, it shows this week-end to be my most fertile. It figures hubby will be away anyway,lol. Ahhh, this sucks not knowing what is going on. I have now resorted to OPK's and HPT's everyday just hoping to catch a break on one of them,lol. Wish they had an AF predictor.

Chatter =)!! Looks like I'm joining you guys as well. Is this your first cycle since? I just started my 1st cycle today since our D&C with twins on March 29th. So glad it's finally here. If we get pregnant this month, the baby's due date from LMP will be my husband's birthday, and 3 days after our daughter's LMP due date. She was 3 weeks early though. Good luck, everyone! When we try, we just BD when my body tells me I'm fertile, as soon as I get the CM we try. I don't want the stress of charting and all that and the past 2 pregnancies, our way has worked the same month we try.. so hopefully this one will be the same. Best of luck!! *babydust*

DCHATTER - Glad to see you are back at it. TTC again for me was actually therapeutic so I hope it is for you too. It gives you new hope and makes you realize that although you were blessed for a short time with your little ones, you are about to be blessed with sweet little angel and that is so exciting. MFARMER - Yay for 29 lbs!!! That's awesome:) Keep up the great work and it is nice to hear from you!

i so badly want to test to see if i get a bfp but am scared to get the bfn... im supposed to get my period the begining of this month.. im pretty sure i got it on april 3rd and have not gotten it yet and havent had any signs of it either... .ugh... what to do what to do? lol

hismrs- i am so sorry that it hurts you. we have been in here since we have been trying to concieve. we are waiting on some of the ones that was ttc with us. we dont come in here very often to talk. just enough to keep others updated. baby dust to all of you still ttcing as, i myself know it is very hard to keep trying. keep your head up, your time will come.

its hard coming in here for us who are trying to concieve if everyone keeps coming in here pregnant,there is another chat for that,i am happy for all those that are pregnant but we dont need it in our face constantly especially when some of us are grieving and struggling.... i personally stopped posting in here for that reason and not really coming in here as i cant stand hearing all things when i am really struggling.to all the ladies that are trying to concieve i wish you so much baby dust and i will have you all in prayers!!!

Hey ladies! its been so long! Sorry!! Working 12 hrs days now! :( No phone or computer... at that job so I couldnt really get on here... I am soo tired for those 12s but i LOVE my job! Anyways I still not TTC and it has been very hard to cope with.. I will not be on here as much until we either start TTC again or I get pregnant. Miss all of you but I cant take seeing all these BFPs.... Anyways I am proud to say that I am now down 29lbs!! I have 50 more to go until I reach my goal weight!! I am soo happy I am getting my body back! I hope by Dec that I can be in the 130s-140s again!! :):)

Hello ladies! I am two days away from AF. I bought a first Response HPT. I am to nervous to use it very afraid of disappointment. Am i crazy?This april hubby an i BD on every fertile day. I even tried a crazy home remedy for low or no cm. Good luck to all ttc.

Hi ladies! It is good to see all of your names and comments again! I think I am about ready to join your ranks again. Just started AF and it has been 2 months since my D&C so I can start TTC again this month. i won't try too hard, i want to just let it happen this time, but i will still take children's aspirin and a cup of Fertilitea again to help if i do conceive. Sorry it's been so long, I just couldn't face it all again, the pain was too fresh.

Hello ladies! My husband and I started TTC in April. I am 9 days away from my expected arrival of AF but the past few days I have had some queasy feelings on and off and today my BB's are a little tender. It's still a little early to test but Im so anxious to! When I was PG with my son I didnt feel this way at all! What are your opinions?

I've got a question...according to the chart, I should ovulate on Saturday. Last night and this morning, I'm cramping and have back pressure (like I get when AF is around). Do you normally feel AF symptoms a few days before you ovulate or the day of? I've never paid attention before so I have no clue.

Same here, with the boys glowed. Girls my face breaks out and feel yuck. Only 8-9 more weeks till I get to meet her.

BOOM/MOMMYRYAN...I feel the same way. When I carried my son, my hair and face never looked so pretty..I got compliments all the time about 'the glow'...but with this one, I look and feel like crap! My hair has lost its shine and my face is never clear...we find out next week what we are having...I swear its a girl! Sorry Kennedy :-(
