The days given are based on the average. Take plus or minus 3 days to be sure, also make sure you've read the following note.

Note that you are most fertile around the ovulation, the day your egg is released. This doesn't mean that you aren't fertile on other days! You can get pregnant at any day of your cycle:

Guidelines for getting pregnant -- or avoiding pregnancy -- usually assume an average woman is fertile between days 10 and 17 of her menstrual cycle. But researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have demonstrated what some accidentally pregnant women may have long suspected:

Only about 30 percent of women actually have their fertile window entirely within that timespan.

In fact, the researchers found, there is hardly a day in the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile. Women in this study were of prime reproductive age (most between 25 and 35) when the menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility should be even more unpredictable for teenagers or for women approaching menopause

boom, i heard that when you have a girl, you tend to look more rough.. apparently they steal the mamas beauty or something. i read it somewhere. lol. but no, for real, i looked bad with my daughter but with my boys, i felt like i looked better. weird.

Hi Boom, glad to nhear you are doing well, I am on the mend, had a bad week with horrible cramps and pains, but they seem to be getting better now, im npt sure if we are going to try again, I feel that I need a realy good clean out before I do get pregnant again

ANGELIC- so sorry hon! but you are strong and it will happen again! how is everyone else doing? I am getting a bump but still super duper tiny and my hair and face have never looked worse. With the boys i felt the glow, this time, not so much!!!!! Hope to hear some good news from you soon1!!!!

i have been tracking my periods since 9 weeks pp(my first period although i was ebf) which was a year ago, but we will be ttc next year, so i wanted to know if there is an easy website that i can type in all my periods from last year and this coming year that will help me understand when i ovulate and all luteal phase and all the other things i dont understand about ttc. i know i have a year but my periods are finally getting on track now that my son weaned. thanks for any help ladies! good luck to all of you

Hi ladies! I thought I would pop in and say hi. I haven't been on much because I am not supposed to TTC for another month and quite frankly it's a little depressing, but I think of everyone a lot. Angelic, I know, it is so stinking hard! It just breaks your hard to lose your little ones even though they never got very far along. I just got a puppy to help me deal with it all. good luck to all of the rest of you, I hope there are some BFP's soon!

cd 1 for me today. ah the ttc journey continues. i know i shouldnt let it bother me. i should just relax and yada yada yada but seems how 5 of my friends are pregnant....its hard. ive never had trouble conceiving exept when i had pcos when i was 18 and it took me losing weight to get pg. so.....seems how im about 80 lbs over weight, maybe i should try to shed some pounds and see what happens. but im the same weight as i was when i conceived my last baby.....i dunno. but my hub is gonna be 39 this year and im now 28 so its gonna get harder as time goes on

ok i have left a msg here 3 times now and it doesnt seem to be showing up so here goes again. I did a test on thursday (1 day after O) and of course i got a negitive.I have been feeling queezy for the last few days and have had slight cramps. I cant wait until tuesday to do another test, But might even hold out until good friday. I just cant wait to know what result is. HEARS HOPING and good luck to all of you

mommyryan - stop trying! those that 'actively' try dont seem to fall pregnant as a mate of mine said she didnt start trying for a baby, she just stop not trying for a baby, u are putting pressure on urself that u dont need, it may sound really silly but its true

i think im out for this month. BFN again today and im super duper edgy, like.......verrrrrry hormonal and i dont think id be this way if i was pg. af is due monday so an early test (used answer) should have picked up hormone by now wouldnt you think? and my bbs arent even that sore. and my legs are swollen (happens before i start and all through af) im so severely down in the dumps right now that i just want to cry. ive never had a prob getting pg, and its been 3-4 months of actively ttc. i know i shouldnt complain because lots of people wait wayyyy longer than that, so i guess this is a very humbling experience but im still so sad. i really wanted my dec baby
