Note that you are most fertile around the ovulation, the day your egg is released. This doesn't mean that you aren't fertile on other days! You can get pregnant at any day of your cycle:

But researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences have demonstrated what some accidentally pregnant women may have long suspected:

In fact, the researchers found, there is hardly a day in the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile. Women in this study were of prime reproductive age (most between 25 and 35) when the menstrual cycles are most regular. The window of fertility should be even more unpredictable for teenagers or for women approaching menopause

Smartwifeandmom: I agree with you. I wasn't trying to belittle anyone else's situation. Really I was just talking about my own experience. and actually giving 'props' for those who's experience was tougher or more complicated then mine. Taz83 ~ Really all I can do is share my experience's- I cannot share yours or anyone elses experience. I believe these types of sites are here to share with each other, and support each other. Whether it is an important issue for YOU or not is completely your own opinion. Maybe someones finds comfort in a situation that you cannot relate too.

taz- i think each woman baby lost or not still feels remorse and frustration about trying to conceive a baby of their own, and even a woman that cant or a woman that takes 4 yrs to get pregnant still go through similar situations , so i dont anyone is complaining, they are sharing their fears, and trials, and pain .. so not very nice to judge any of them..

I don't get it.. We BD'ed at the right times everyday a week before and week after ovulation... 2 months in a row... and nothing! I am getting frustrated. I know there are people who have been trying for months or even years... I can't imagine... what in the heck are we doing wrong.. Dang it.

I have PCOS, and have a history of Not ovulating,or atleast the dr told me i ovulate about once every 4 years (My kids are 10 days shy of being 4 years apart). However, I do have a period every month now ever since I got off of bc in June. I had AF on 10/26, and we are hoping for a positive, but can't test for atleast another 4-5 days...I hate waiting! The last cpl days i've been craving butter ? and I even had a dream I took 5 test and they were all positive.

o.k last af was oct 14 spotting, 15th heavy flow..no af yet which makes me on cycle day 31 32?bfn..cycles are ushually 27 days long...grrrr,what gives.?

babyoneisaboy when did you finally test positive? i'm almost 2 weeks late on my period and still neg. i actually went to dr today and he said he doubts a blood test will come back positive. but i have all the symptoms and have had 3 pregnancys and 2 kids. the last was a mc cause of hormone levals so i'm worried little.

Question. My periods have for the most part been 28 days apart, and according to this calendar I should have been able to test on the 5th, I tested on the 5th and got a negative, so I figured I'd have a period on the 6th. I haven't had a period and it's the 8th. I used a really cheap dollar test when I tested on the 5th, so is it possible that I am pregnant and just tested too early or something?

Hello! 4 sept 2009- I had the misscarriage after the DC. The 4 oct 2009 as I had the period. The18 oct 2009 as my time is my ovulation. The 30 oct 2009 is totaly Negative test pregancy. The3 nov 2009 is suppose to have the period spotty? I have nothing with this, I want to be pregnant but the test pregnancy is STILL negative last week. I have to wait untill this week? or I have go to see the dr, test the blood?

Hi ladies!!! Well I am back again, however this time I don't know for how long..DH and I split up a while back and I started dating someone new. I decided to start birth control (the first time in a loonnng time) since the new guy and I started sleeping together....anyways the new guy and I broke up and DH and I have been seeing each other on and off. I was only on birth control for about three weeks and then got off. That was in Sept....I don't know if my cycles have regulated but before BC I was really regular. I usually have a 28 day cycle...Per the O calendar (which I used before and got pregnant) I O around the 19th....ANYWAYS here I am...wondering if what I am experiencing is signs of pregnancy or catching a cold....? Two days ago I got sick during my run(which i am an active runner so that was abnormal), one day ago I was really nauseated, also I have been having headaches, and my breast have been hurting(the breast tenderness is more of a pinching as oposed to feeling heavy)...af is due in about 4 days and my son just got over the flu so I might have caught it....what do you guys think??

hi ladies, i am new to this site and new to this whole TTC thing!!! :) i need some advice!! the first day of my cycle was Sept. 26 it has now been 32 days and still no AF! i took a HPT at day 28 and it was a BFN. i havn't had any of the obvious signs or symptoms, though i did have brownish spotting for 3 days (days 10-12). is that too early to be implantation bleeding? could i be PG, or is AF just trying to mess with my head??!!

Well ladies...I have a 3 month old n she is bf'ed. AF has been coming regularly since I gave birth and this month she is a week late so I got excited and took test after test. They all came back neg. I thought how could that b? Well doc just called n said that I quit ovulating from breast feeding so it looks like I have to put trying on hold for now.

has anyone every gotten sick during ovulation? I had some cramping and a few spots of brown blood yesterday and now today i'm super nauseated and actually threw up a little. It can't be MS as I just had my period the 13th -19th....and BD'd on the 24th...dunno what's going on?

Hey everyone! I just want to vent my frustration.. I had a miscarriage in the end of july, and since my husband and I have been trying again, hes been out of town for work the past two months that I ovulated!! ahhh! I told him hes not going anywhere this month. Just wanted to get that off my chest. How is everyone else doing?
