Hi Peach. Very thoughtful of you to seek information on how to be sensitive to your friend's situation! Infertility is a terrible thing to deal with, and sometimes seeing friends/family/coworkers pregnant does sting, but we also have to be aware that we can't 'stay mad' at others healthy pregnancies. Hug your friend and tell her you will keep hoping and praying for her future healthy pregnancy. If your friend seems to have slipped into infertility depression, help her seek a support group or other means to get up from the sadness. Friendship and understanding really helps. Be there for her, like you're doing. Thanks again! Congrats on your pregnancy! peachys72@yahoo.com -

hello ladies. i am not TTC but i would like to hear ur input about this struggle. I am currently pregnant but it was unplanned so i have never gone thru the heartbreak of trying and not being able to get pregnant. i have a coworker and friend who has been struggling with infertility for a few years and since i am pregnant, i would like some advice on how to share this with her and include her in things to do with my pregnancy while being sensitive to what she may be feeling. I have noticed that she seems 'down' around me and although she has always asked how im doing and wanted updates, i think that it kind of hurts for her to actually listen. im 32 weeks so its getting to the end and there are baby showers being planned and i will be having the baby in no time and i just want her to be able to share in this without making her feel horrible. Thanks in advance i know this is tough for all of u who are trying. Good luck to u all and im hoping that every one of u gets ur little bundle soon! min41 -

Hi Amabrad - I am glad that you have the medical help and seem to be going through all of the usual help. Maybe you should also try Metformin to regulate your cycles (given for Diabetics and people with PCOS. Also, acupuncture may help. Luckily you are young enough to be able to work on this for a few years and even take a year off to get your health perfect etc. Good luck.

Hello all. I'm 24, hubby is 28. We have been ttc for a little over 4 years, naturally and also with the help of clomid. I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago, but have had the systems since I was 12. Was on birth control until I was 19. I've had all the blood work done to test everything multiple times, everything always comes back normal (sometimes I would wish something would come back that was wrong just so I could get some answers) then I started going to my current OB-GYN and they finally told me that I have PCOS. We've tried clomid in the past, and then stopped every once in a while to try naturally and now we are back with clomid. This is my 4th cycle of clomid since July, was at 50mg now this month is 100mg. The previous 3 times my u/s always came back with normal results, but still NO baby. I go this week for this months u/s. I'm praying this does the trick. I'm so tired of constantly going back and forth to the dr., getting stressed out every time I see someone who is pregnant. My husband has a son from a previous relationship, he's 8, and I love that little boy to death! But, and I dont want to sound selfish, its still not 'my baby' and sometimes when he's here it just makes it soo much harder to deal with not being able to just get pregnant. But on a better note I am happy I found this site. It makes it so much easier to know that your not alone. Good luck to all! min41 -

kennesha - good luck sweetie for a non-clomid cycle. This is a very slow group as most of us long time ttc with infertility started a group on facebook. We do still pop in sometimes, but not regularly.

Hello there, I hope you don’t mine me joining this group. My husband (43) and I (36) have been ttc for three years now. We had our first mc Feb.14, 2010 and the second one Feb.19, 2011 BUT March 29, 2011 I was in so much pain and found out that the pregnancy in Feb.19 was not a missed miscarriage and it was diagnosed as a cornual pregnancy. I had an emergency surgery to end it completely. We are back ttc and I was given three months of clomids which I started on my last cycle. I am now on the second cycle and decided not to use clomids because both times when I stopped taking them I got pregnant. I am now on CD (cycle day) 7 and I usually ovulate between CD14 and CD16. I am praying we will get our bfp some day soon. 1medic2 -

well.. ugh.. my story. had my 1st miscarriage in july of 2006, my son was born in august 2007, 2 more miscarriages since then. long story short after my last miscarriage last june my bleeding was out of controll massive clots, pain and blood that was pouring out of me. i was told i had a tilted uterus and they found a mass that was monitered - the last 3 months my periods have regulated in the sence that i am getting them, but the sheer amount of blood i am losing, the colour of the blood, the size of the clots and the length of the periods are really a worry to me. we go to a fertility clinic at the end of the month and we should get results for a whack loads of tests tomorrow hopefully. Why is having a baby so easy for most people and so difficult for all of us. And its us ladies who would be the most amazing mummys that have the problems in conceiving. Lifes a Bitch!! I just want my son to have someone to be excited with at christmas, someone to grow up with, i have room in my heart for another baby!!

MIN41-I was crampy that night and even the next day. I also seemed to have EWCM too, which was weird since I had already O'd. Now I am 6dpiui and I'm so emotional today in thinking that this didn't work. I'm having a horrible day today. I need to get out of this funk for sure. min41 -

We got preggers with my daughter on our first cycle of IUI. My dr. did 2 rounds though 2 days apart. I honestly was expecting to 'feel' something but never did. I just tried to pray and stay positive:) kimkayb -

IUI went well. I had 40-50 million super active sperm deposited. For those of you that have had an IUI, how did you feel afterwards & then the next day? bluewave -

CARLOS-I called my doctors office this morning, today is officially cd1 and I'll start the Clomid on cd4. On the 28th I'll have an u/s to check my follicles and probably also get the trigger shot and then most likely I'll get the IUI the following day. My doctor keeps a close watch on everything. This will be my 3rd cycle on Clomid and my body seems to respond to it well. carlos-erin -

The thing about clomid is if you do to many cycles with it, it can actually mess your cycles up. So when it comes to infertility Dr.s they don't tend to do too many clomid cycles. But sometimes that is the only medication your insurance will pay for. The follistum shots are very expensive if insurance won't cover them. I have gotten pregnant off of both but I only responded to clomid the 1st pregnancy the cycles were combined clomid with follistum or just follistum. Also taking progesterone a couple of days after your IUI can help stop M/C sometimes. Just depends on why you are M/C kimkayb -

CARLOS-I got a bfp in Nov but then lost the baby at around 7w3d, so we actually got pregnant w/ the help of just Clomid & the Ovidrel shot before. I hope that the IUI does the trick! And, when I got pregnant it was my 3rd cycle on Clomid, and this next cycle will also be my 3rd cycle on Clomid after my m/c.
